I meant to add, if so, we have filed jointly and after deductions our agi sits at 13k, no children, but I have attempted to do rideshare because I couldn’t keep a 9-5 with dr appts, so I had a lot of write offs

49 y/o F wh will be 50 in a little over 2 momths. I have recently stopped working due to worsening mental health and I have had to file for STD (pending) shoukd I apply for SSDI now or will it be better to wait until I turn 50? Thanks in advance Dr.Ed🙂

It will be very useful to me since I'm going to be rated for PPD next month due to workplace injury.... although I think i should be total disabled due to having a lot of pain on my back. The workers comp insurance have stopped all treatment while i wait to be rated.... I'll have to use my insurance to get some kind of help for my pain😢 Thanks again for all your help! Is too many truckies rules,how am I am to know all these? The specialist wrote me off work and been 4 years already NO INCOME at all "0" been HOMELESS they close my case because of the phone service matter. Now they recommend to reapply so I understand.... been truly suffered with a minor in a one car garage

Thank you so much Ed for your help with the ssdi information right now I’m in process of getting my ssi back from 21 22 23 24 years waiting for due process and want to know more information and details about the ssdi together with the ssi combination extra assurance that will benefit me
my husband passed away in 2022 I filed a claim because he had money that was in the rears after he passed away I applied for that money, and they have been giving me a hard time saying that he had to heaven state or someone over his estate his children also applied for the payment they were over age limit. What steps should I take?
Awesom SSDI info for me personally! My onset date many years ago from a fall in 2019 , 6 years after beginning SS at 63. You replied to me I could still file for SSDI even now. because I wanted to return to working but unable. Hopefully this is correct & now at 73 can apply for it from then until age 67 which would boost my current SS. I did work last year for 6 months as a security guard it had to quit because of the numerous spine surgeries after rhe fall. Correct?

Ok you have to be off work to file SSDI but once you get SSDI you can work for 9 months trial work period on and off
I invited in IRA and health care and I am truly disabled my neck back bone dislocated

There's no disability after your full retirement age.
