I think the beauty standard here in Korea is so harsh and hard to achieve, in particular around weight!! But I definitely can say good hair makes a big difference to someone's appearance, definitley worth putting time and effort into ones hair 😄
I really don’t believe in rating attractiveness or beauty. If someone I encounter in life sees me as a number before knowing me as a person, then I’m not interested in being around that person, plain and simple. I’ve never rated anyone’s appearance like that and it’s quite sad to me that there are people who go through life valuing people based on subjective beauty standards. It’s even sadder when people fall victim to valuing themselves based on those “ratings.”
The reality is it does matter, maybe it's not a number, but there's still a concept of beauty rating to society. And if you don't wanna play by that rule , that's up to you, but the world ain't gon' revolve around you.

The girl at 3:30 is pretty much spot on with her own score. I agree with her 8.5 and to be honest she could even be a 9. Supposedly she didn't even get surgery so she's "naturally" pretty.
1:59 It's so strange to see people who, in my country, would be considered as cute/pretty (between 6 and 8 - depending on personal tastes) consider them selves so ugly (2/3). I know these are not the bad things of life, don't get me wrong, but.. in a sense, she made me feel a sense of tenderness

I dont wanna be mean but i think some of them are lying about not having done any procedures. Some facial features just don’t fit and it’s so easy to spot, especially with rhinoplasty. First of all, there's nothing wrong with being a 5, as that represents average. Nobody in that video was below a 5. People in the 2 range are dealing with deformities, significant scarring, burns, etc. Being too pale, especially when natural pigmentation is "yellowish" or light brown, makes a person look like a vampire (undead). The girl who called herself a 9 and said she was chubby is a cute as a button and visually the type of woman I like. The tall girl who didn't get the nose job is gorgeous and should never change a thing.
I wanna hug the woman who walked out the clinic. I guess it says something about our society that going under the knife is normalized, but if you don't think of yourself, think of your mother who won't be able to see the face of their child anymore, or your daughter who might look like you, how will she accept herself if you didn't? At the end of the day it's your choice and the struggle is real but the problem isn't on the outside... Surgery is done in the name of self love but how is not the opposite? Despite how Korea is today it's not normal...
It's totally nonsense that 90% of people get plastic surgery. she shouldn't sell everyone around her just because she did it. Although the plastic surgery rate is high in Korea, there are still a lot more people who don't do it. This is also proven by statistics. When foreigners on TH-cam and Instagram see pretty Korean girls, they say “ oh, they are 100% fake or they must have a plastic surgery” , but it's often not true. It seems to be a sale out of jealousy.
Yes, that’s jealousy. In fact, Most Koreans are natural. but other Asians(chinese, japanese, thai) have a lot of plastic surgery in Korea. Reuters estimated currently, foreign patients make up 50% of all plastic surgeries performed in South Korea. In 2023, around 114 thousand foreign patients were at plastic and cosmetic surgery departments. For that reason, the per capita population ratio is high.
The 2 that said nobody is perfect and was thinking about a nose job are stunning. But everyone is beautiful in their own way. Looks like these are all students in other countries adapting to normal life
For the most part, I think all the women were pretty honest, sometimes humble, with their ratings, with the exception of the ones who rated themselves 9s and the ones who rated themselves 5s and 3s; 9s were way too high, and the low ratings were too low. The ones who rated themselves 7s were gorgeous, IMHO.

No, the girl on the right 0:49 who rated herself 7/10 was the prettiest, by far. Including the whatever-youtuber I have never heard of who rated herself 8.5/10. Or the botox manjaw who rated herself a 9.
All girls are so pretty!
0:30, that girl is a 10 for me.
her english is on point. 100% honest with herself, she's transparent regarding her wants and needs. she knows how to express herself well. to me that's a major plus.

Beautiful ladies. Every single one of them. Great job picking out eye candy. To the the lady at the 3:23 mark, Don't touch a thing! You are absolutely beautiful.
Double eye lid surgery these days are so fast cheap and painless, it feels like it’s no different than getting a tooth filling.
@@chriIIe people who are considered ugly based on society’s beauty standards will still exist regardless of whether society accepts them or not. you’ll either be ugly and miserable, spend your life chasing “beauty” by spending thousands on cosmetic procedures and still being unsatisfied, or you can ignore the judgments and be ugly and happy lol. i’d rather choose to be ugly and happy personally 💁♀️
1:31 yo I need the addy ❤
The one who gave herself a nine is like wow and I love her philosophy ❤
They're all pretty in my eyes. And the one who said she would be considered chubby shocked me a bit.
0:04 bro isnt she a youtuber?
I almost did lipo when I was 22. Looking back I was so small, but I just had a tummy. The doctor advised against it because he said my stomach muscles stick out so lipo wouldn’t change that.
All of these girls are a 9 for me. Everyone's pretty in their own way. I liked the one with blonde here. She gave herself a pretty low score despite her being the most beautiful out of them all.

According to Dr. Hwang Dong-yeon, there are 25,000 breast surgeries performed in Korea every year
Only, in Europe and in US numbers are higher. Most korean men are not into big boobs as european and american men.
@@kristinef.petersen1728 Due to population differences, according to ISAPS's 2016 statistics on cosmetic surgery, Brazil is ranked 1st, the United States 2nd, and South Korea 3rd (followed by Mexico 4th, India 5th, and Germany 6th), but in terms of population per 100,000 people, South Korea is by far the number one in the world. Korean cosmetic surgeons stopped submitting data to ISAPS after 2017, probably because they thought their own country's data was inconvenient. Therefore, as of 2024, it is unclear how much the number of surgeries in South Korea has increased. In fact, South Korea is also ranked 5th in the world for breast augmentation surgery, with 50,000 people undergoing breast augmentation surgery each year, which is a very high number compared to the rest of the world, and it is the only Asian country to be ranked in the top 10.

An Asian 5/10 is a white mans 15/10
yh i also think we’re prettier but not our body tho
@@soomaan1220 Whats the gold standard in terms of body type y'all are striving for anyway?
Well, the thing is they think all Asians look the same , so they can't differentiate between a 5 and a 10, cuz it all looks the same to them.
A lot of white men want big boobs so it’s not for everyone even with surgery there aren’t many giant boobs there.
i'd rate the 2-3 girl a solid 9. She might not meet the korean beauty standard but her face is so much more interesting and unique, she could become a model in Europe.
Anybody can be a model in Europe, like what are we even doing here? If you dilute the standard that much , it doesn't mean anything
9:30 I am not trying to hate on these two beautiful young women, but just let me clarify something. Both women have obviously had rhinoplasty; you can tell by the shape of their noses. I don't understand why people aren't just honest about it. There's nothing wrong with having plastic surgery.
The lady who said she wanted to get her nose done.... It'll disappear if she keeps it up
The girl at 3:04 with the dimples is really cute, what's her name?
The girl at 3:30 is pretty much spot on with her own score. I agree with her 8.5 and to be honest she could even be a 9. Supposedly she didn't even get surgery so she's "naturally" pretty.
I personally think a 9 is too high. Maybe for korean standards… but somewhere else maybe not.
The girl that rated herself at 2/10 in 2:09 is literaly gorgeous Girl your a 10/10 !!
I agree. Nothing wrong with her not rating herself really high. I think being humble also makes you attractive. But a 2 or 3? That's way too low!
her and 5:26 are the most attractive ones in my opinion
She has an unusual face but so cute and very pretty.
They are all beautiful ❤️😍❤️
Isn't that... Priscilla Kwon in the grey sweats??
It is!
I have noticed many Koreans don't consider botox, fillers, lifting and facial contouring as surgery. Here in my country, these procedures are considered something big and unnatural 😂
9:38 That one girl lied. She got her nose done
I agree and she gave herself a high score she's not Korean beauty standard any ways
you never seen an asian with high nose bone?
@@ashleylove6840 they definitely exist but SHE is not one of them. The way her nostrils stretch abnormally is proof alone. And i checked her IG she clearly has nose surgery
Not necessarily, it's actually very normal to find East-Asians with that kind of nose, the 3:06 girl, is a much more obvious candidate
Could be nose filler not plastic
I’ve got a crush on the one that gave herself a 2/3, and was in the little black jacket. She’s very beautiful.
0:37 Her name is PRISCILLA❤
Anybody saying above 8 are crazy, most people are between 4-6. 10 mean you are the most perfect human in term of look, like one in a generation.
The one saying she's a 2, more realistictly she's a 5, an average woman, not ugly.
I dont wanna be mean but i think some of them are lying about not having done any procedures. Some facial features just don’t fit and it’s so easy to spot, especially with rhinoplasty. I’m not saying this to be rude, I just think it’s unfortunate how they feel the need to lie, especially considering how common plastic surgery is in SK
why would they lie. PS its not stigmatized in SK
@@loisbalogh1605 but they still much prefer "natural beauty" even actors and kpop idols are known to hide or downplay the amount of procedures they've done
I love the part when they describe what they like about themselves :)
great video! some feedback if you’re interested, the white text for the subtitles really hurt my eyes when it was on top of white in the background. maybe consider adding a black box behind the to help with visibility? just a suggestion 🫶🏾
Are you going to do another video asking young men the same question?
Why?
Lol. I wonder how many phone numbers he collected when the camera was off! A pretty clever and creative 'approach', full credit.
Wow, he interviewed Priscilla Kwon! She is definitely a 9.5. Like she said, no one is perfect, but she's very pretty!
0:40 she's closer 9.5 than she thinks she is.
3:30 This girl is absolutely stunning and wise.
I wonder where I could find a girl as her.
You are telling me that nose at 9:31 is not via plastic surgery.. girl be so fr
I have that nose im natural 😂
I really don't understand girls' obsession with appearance
The girl at 4:30 looks so good
I wanna hug the woman who walked out the clinic. Despite how Korea is today it's not normal...
a person who called herself 3.5 is so cute, tho 😔 no need to underastimate yourself like that
I also think a little makeover (not a surgery!) could really boost her appearance.
@@Flo-vn9typerhaps, I personally think she's already hella cute
@@Flo-vn9tyI’d just like to see her with her natural hair color, then she’s an easy 9.
Girl at 3:48 is just stunning, speaking english... all of them are beautiful. Dont need any surgery :)
All of these women are beautiful in their own ways, and i for sure wouldn't say any of them are ugly. People need to be less harsh on themselves.
Pricilla so pretty
I really hope we get better as a society at some point. Because the way us women have physical "flaws" so internalized is disgusting
The girl who thought of getting her nose done but changed her mind litteraly has a perfect nose. Nobody in that video was below 6/10 IMHO.

3:21 HAIL to the naw. im so happy she didnt. i love her nose. its cute as hell
