  • @ayouspace4780

Just to clarify some things from the video.
For the polygamy, in religion it is stated in Quran that marrying up to 4 women is allowed only if they can be completely fair and give them equal rights. However exactly in the verse right after, it says "you won't be able to do that anyways". So many scholars say that it's a way to say that you actually shouldn't marry a second wife. And that it will only be making you a not fair person to your wives which is bad. But the religion still gives them the chance to try. This chance is what many men use in their favour to justify their unreasonable and uncontrollable thirst, by actually gaslighting women and those who defend them and say "are you going to defy God's words? He gave me permission " but he forgets that god told him that he will not be successful in being fair.
It's a patriotic way of thinking and taking advantage of the religion that is bad. The woman ofc has the right to ask for divorce if she doesn't want him to have polygamy. She can simply leave. But it's still sad.
About smoking, in religion IT IS forbidden like she said because it harms the body. But many people do smoke different things and it's not illegal in many muslim countries but that doesn't mean it's permitted in the religion itself as the religion is independent from whatever policies the county takes on.

Also, In the case of polygamy - in Islam if you have the finances and time to support more than one woman, the 2nd/3rd or 4th wife should all be women who would usually find it difficult to get married due to societies bias.
For example: Widow, infertile, elderly, disabled. It is a way to take them in and protect them from loneliness and lack of income if their disability affects their ability to work etc and they can't rely on their parents forever.

Nah bro anything that harms the body is haram, therefore cigarettes are.
Allah says in the quran (And spend in the way of Allah and do not throw [yourselves] with your [own] hands into destruction [by refraining]. And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.) 2:195
So we should not destruct/harm ourselves. Also spending money on cigarettes/vape/… is spending money on harmful things so… ifykyk
Just bc a sin is so normalised in today’s society doesn’t mean it’s okay. (I thought dating wasn’t haram bc of how many muslims do it but turns out it is haram despite muslims who date🤷🏻‍♀️)

A knowledge about Haram in Islam:
If there are more negative impacts than positive impacts, then don't do it.
For example, don't use khamr (anything that is intoxicating) because it damages your body. Appreciate your own body because it is a gift from God.

I don't know if it's the translation problem or what.. It's about the part with smoking. I don't know if it's Haram or Makhruh for cigarette or cigars, but DRUGS is definitely Haram. Drugs a.k.a narcotics or psychotropics or even weeds/ganja/Marijuana are intoxicant because they mess with your mind/thinking, just like what alcohols did (being drunk).

    • @AmyK27
      @AmyK27 ปีที่แล้ว

Drugs and alcohol are haram because they are intoxicants (alcohol also causes harm to the body in the long run).
Cigarettes are haram because they solely cause harm to the body. Cigarettes did not exist in the time of the Qur'an and the hadiths hence no direct mention of them and why so many people nowadays don't consider them haram.
But the Qur'an says that we are not supposed to harm our body in any way and anything that causes harm to the body becomes haram for us. Nowadays with the advancement of medical science, it is proven and well known how toxic and harmful smoking is for the body. It causes countless types of cancers and diseases of the throat, lungs and heart. It is a slow poison that shortens your life span with every cigarette you smoke. So all the good scholars of today's generation have concluded that cigarettes are in fact haram and the one smoking them is sinning.

But, there are a lot of misconceptions among the Muslims of today because many do not read and study the Quran but just indulge in blind faith, when in fact Islam is not a religion of blind faith; it is a religion of reasoning. Also, Islam is not just a religion, it is the way of life. This is obvious from the meaning of the word ISLAM; Submission to God. The submission here refers to doings things the way God wants us to do, not our own opinions because we follow Islam, not someone's opinion.

I’d like to add sth also to the answer of question two (for people who’re interested) since you have to be fair to all your women like deena said, nowadays it’s unlikely for men to get married to more than one woman because (there’s no wars like before so) you also have to be fair emotionally, if you love one more than the other it’s considered a sin and according to all studies you can’t love two equally, that’s how human work, it’s impossible you’ll always have a favorite even if it’s just a little bit more…so islam allowed polygamy for a reason (in the past and even now sometimes you can marry more than one for certain circumstances ) but also prohibits it at the same time (for peace time like now) so that men could not act as they wish and be unfair to their women…. That’s why islam is called the religion of all time ❤

I want to clarify some things not about Islam but about few minor things mentioned. First, she mentioned that beef is sacred for Indians but I want to correct this saying that rather for Indians it is specifically for and only sacred for Hindus of the Hindu religion and not all Indians. Because as an Indian Christian myself my state (Kerala) has a lot of beef dishes/foods and we eat beef a lot here as there’s a lot of Muslims and Christians in Kerala, India. And ofc you won’t go to jail for that. Just that it’s only for the Hindu religion only.
Another thing is that, just like Islam, in Christianity we are NOT allowed to eat pork. It’s even written in the Bible that it’s unclean and not supposed to be eaten. I have even been forbidden from eating it by my parents and grandparents too. But it’s just taken lightly by Christians.

    • @borntobereal2004

Most of the christians eat pork and even in movies and stuff, I always saw them eating it. It was really hard for me at abroad since most non-veg dishes were made of pork. But it's really insightful to know that it's not the case for christians either! We are similar in this case then, haha.

The sister here fail in answer based on the Qur'an and the sunnah.
About Poligamy it's allowed by the grace of Allah (Subhana wa taala) in his almighty wisdow.
Before the came of the messenger of allah (azza wa jalla) there was a well extended practices of poligami among the people of the books (jews and christians) the only difference is that Allah (Subhanaha wa taala) limited muslim up to four
Whether is for care of the women or help men to preserve its needs in the marriage, increase the offprings. The real reason of poligamy is to obey the message brought to the Messenger (peace and blessings upon him) and worship Allah (Azza wa jalla with it).
About smoking its forbidden as in Surah an Nisa 29.
O believers! Do not devour one another's wealth illegally, but rather trade by mutual consent. And do not kill each other or yourselves. Surely Allah is ever Merciful to you

The topic is big and complicated, so even if it looks unfair, there are logical reasons behind it, btw cheating and treating ur wife unfair or bad is in generell forbidden, but I don’t think I have to explain that one lol

The question about whether you'd go to jail if you eat pork, I think it refers to the case in Indonesia about an influencer who's caught eating pork and got sentenced by law.
So here's the explanation. In a country which have the biggest population of Islamic people, there is an institution that usually takes care of all Islamic rules and laws and manages the regulation of these rules in community.
What happened was that the influencer is a muslim, who did a vlog (or a streaming video, I don't remember exactly) of her eating and conciously saying "Bismillah" (Means "In the Name of Allah") before eating pork, which is forbidden in Islamic law. After that she was reported by an islamic preacher so hence she got sentenced.
So the answer is, eating pork is okay as long as you're not a Muslim. But if in the country there is an instition has a definite law to sentence any muslim who openly breaks the Islamic rules, they could probably go to jail. It doesn't have to be specific on eating pork; drinking liquor, drugs prostitutions and couples living together without marriage status, they're just the same.

    7:01 it actually isn't neutral!
The Shaytaan eats with his left hand so the person who eats with his left hand resembles the Shaytaan, indeed the Shaytaan is sharing his food with him. Whoever eats with his left hand, the Shaytaan eats with him.
Moreover, the left hand should be reserved for removing dirt, as when cleaning oneself after going to the toilet and blowing ones nose and other kinds of cleaning oneself and removing dirt. How can a person use that which is used for removing dirt and impurities for putting food in his mouth?
Hafsah , the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to use his right hand for eating, drinking and getting dressed and his left hand for everything else.
Some people may have a real problem that prevents them from using their right hand, such as being paralyzed and so on. In this case they are excused and there is no blame on them. If he has an excuse for not eating and drinking with his right hand, such as sickness or an injury, then this is not makrooh.
9:45 this is also not neutral!
Cigarettes are not at all neutral they are haram. Just because some people still smoke cigarettes doesn't mean it's neutral. Anything harmful to your body is considered haram hence prohibited.

in my opinion ya, but the Muslim girls don't really represent a Muslim in a good way. but I appreciate her effort to answer all the questions.

they said HARAM, but most of them still do that .that's the fact. most of my muslim friend do that. they didn't want to eat pork, but they drink alcohol and sex with his girlfriend. what logic is that !! is better to eat pork but didn't have free sex/alcohol.

2:34 Men are not above women in Islam. I just want to correct that perception. Men and women do have different responsibilities, but neither is above the other. Also, MUSLIM WOMEN ARE NOT OPPRESSED BECAUSE OF ISLAM!!!😭

"Since their culture is more about men above women"
Idk about the culture created by the people
but in the religion itself, men and women are both equal:)❤

you're right. I would have liked her to respond to that as well and clarify things for them. she didn't explain the polygamy well either.

Incorrect. Islam is inherently patriarchy in its presumption of how women are weak creatures that are assumed to be less capable to the point of being comparable to children.
