I sometimes wonder if the Data Design Wii shovelware game Kawasaki Jet Ski was the reason for why all Kawasaki mentions were removed in the Wii Virtual Console version of Wave Race 64. If that’s so, Kawasaki made a worse decision than Bob.

Still is one of my favorite TH-camrs for his Punk attitude and basically being AVGN Australian edition, which he nails perfectly and being as honest and genuine about what he's experiencing while also having the odd gag here and there to really take it home, I hope we'll see more ridiculous and ambitious videos in the future like with the Croc and Ty the Tasmanian Tiger reviews, those were darn brilliant and wild man.

I’m so happy I found them in 2018 And this was a point where I had lost hope at everything until I found him easily the best thing I’ve found on TH-cam
The song selection for these videos is spot on. The Crash 2 ruins theme playing when Jak shows the ruins level, a Spyro flight theme when the skater is literally flying alongside a dragon, and so on... it's these little details that make this channel what it is.

XGS (THE PS2 ONE, OBVIOUSLY) holds a special spot in my heart, all things aside. I used to play it a lot as a kid along with THPS4 and THUG, and while I understand it being objectively worse than THPS, it's still something I'd play just as much, and sometimes I pick it up over them.

Id be interested in seeing a Hawktober on the indie skateboarding games. Id be interested in seeing how games like OlliOlli World, Skatebird, or Tony Hawk's Existential Nightmare hold up to other skateboarding games or change things up.

I had to sell my PS2 collection back in the day, and in the last few years I've rebuilt what I lost. I used to love this game back in the day, but after replaying it last year it was terrible!

the INSANE thing about this game, is it has cloth physics. well. not really, its an effect, but STILL, it looks awesome to me and is such a crucial part of capturing the speed of skating. HOW HAVE NO SKATE GAMES ITERATED ON THIS. Aggressive inline is the only other game I've seen with it, I'm going to assume some people worked on both

THPS3 was not only one of the best reviewed skateboarding game ever made, it’s actually one of the highest rated video games ever made full stop! An unthinkable 97 average on Metacritic. And then there’s this game…..the equivalent of Bubsy 3D coming out during the same season as Super Mario 64 😂

I like the look of the maps to be honest and compared to some of the skateboard games you've reviewed this looks like a million bucks you can actually do tricks and land them thats a step up

The BMX update is really fun.
The biggest problem all these games had is the fact the the Tony Hawk games ever existed. Nothing ever came close to toppling the series until the Skate series came out. The Skate series is far better than anything Tony Hawk games have to offer. Too bad there hasn't been a new one in so long. Definitely looking forward to Skate 4. Though my expectations are super low since it's still under EA.

Hey I suggest you check out AirBlade sometime. It was a hoverboard launch game for the PS2. It wasn't very good, but it was a popular game as it was included as a free demo in gaming magazines of the time. It is very nostalgic for me and I'm sure others. Someone else reviewed it on YT but he was very unfair imho. Also I hope you check out the SSX series sometime.

I would have easily given this game a 0/10, I remember hating it when I got it in 2000. Loved the Road to Ruin Crash music coming in when the ruin level was discussed.

While it is nice to see some skateboarding games take creative liberties with its design, the whole skateboarding dragon battle idea might have been taken too far.

The game sucks, but expanding on that one mechanic in a functioning skateboard game is an instant 8-9/10 right there.

Grew up with a GBA copy of this, and always considered it one of the worst games I've ever played. The vert mode is boring and the street skating is genuinely impossible.
It's always a bummer whenever the series is about to come to an end doing end 2or 3 more videos it's still sucks every time every time now we're gonna have to wait a whole nother year.
The GBA version was and still one of my favorites. This game is not good but I [played the shit out of it when I got it for Christmas one year

Ok there is a skateboarding game being a shooter for a level and then there is pulling off moved in the sky because of a gem. I could not stop laughing it's cool the first time I bet but otherwise probably eh, awkward/tedious to do over and over but still funny.
Camera changes on GBA wow. If they did that in the PS2 game Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, old God of War style it would be horrible I get it's probably for effect to make it more clear what your doing in view than hardware as it clearly does an overhead camera but I mean that's just bad design.
Pick 1 not 3-5 different views. It's like changing your camera perspective from first to third or the cockpit to different chase cameras because your kid sibling is being difficult not something you expect a game to do it organically and expect you to agree with it.
Still Evolution Skateboarding ah the game with Snake, Great Quest Frogger and more. Hopefully it's better.
