It's so much cooler and satisfying to actually see the voice actor do the voice and know it's them instead of just a AI voice anyone can do. I think people forget that the more effort you put into a punchline, the better it is.
This video is mostly a "Effort that IOI put into Hitman that you've never noticed", which I think is an absolutely fantastic addition! The fact it *also* showcases lack of effort in other places is just all the more entertaining!
the 2 guards on the stairs in the author being blind is lowkey useful, i never knew i could just walk past them instead of dealing with them before going to the target
From my layman's idea of programming, I think your ascending orders of scariness about things that can bleed is backwards- the costumes likely can bleed because they're on modified NPC models or something and the bleeding property never got removed from them. The TP, however, really doesn't have a similar potential excuse. *what is it made out of that can bleed wtf*
I figure it's probably attributed to everything with a fabric texture; outfits, toilet paper, hats, etc. That's likely also how they implemented the glasses thing, rather than consciously adding it to the game.
as a hitman absolution 47/47 achievement haver: it is really interesting how much the (2016) trilogy refines the really rough formula absolution laid out
Ah, Ghost Mode. I think I can relate to your mention of the Hackl pistols in that section, just because of how much Hitman 2 I played back in the day! I've been trying to pick between my Black Lily and Silverballer since the launch of WoA, so maybe I'll start using the former more often for its unique sound? Again, good to have you back, Cassidy!
@@Theorangecrushgamer True, but I imagine they'll eventually come back to Hitman. Even if they do a whole Bond trilogy, the way they released WoA means it won't take as long as most other trilogies.
Concept 5 was specifically changed in one patch in hitman 3 to sound silenced for whatever reason even tho it doesnt have a supressor and the 9S and 9R variants of Hackl and Bartoli have different accuracy recovery times as far as I know. The R variants recover slightly faster and I think also allow you to fire faster as well.
I do not remember when I noticed that the catwalk area didn't have a real roof but it was during one of my countless runs of the level back in Hitman 2. It's just one of those level design things you don't think about when playing a game until you happen to have the camera facing in the right direction. The double-imposter guy was probably the best part of the video, that or the bullet impact showcase. lol
I found a new glitch the other day. I call it the duplicate pickupable distraction items glitch. Place something like napoleon blownapart on the ground, then right when a npc goes goes pick it up you pick it up and if the animations occur at the same time the object will duplicate. Making it so you now have two blownaparts. Rinse and repeat. You know when you did it because you'll still have a the item and a separate detonator for that item. It's tricky to time properly. But do it enough times and you'll have enough for every npc on the map for a kill everyone challenge. And since explosives of the same items will detonate at the same time. It can create a rather interesting kill everyone challenge. I recommend doing this with an mostly isolated npc that's close enought to another. Do the glitch, then knock em out without being spotted by them, pick up the duplicate, then make moise to cause someone to come over and they get woken up, then rinse and repeat. Best to find more than one npc to do get more items quickly. Try it out on a lower npc location. I recommend doing it with the explosive phone without triggering before npc picks it up.
oh the catwalk thing is so fun, I had noticed that before but god only knows when that was amidst hundreds of hours of hitmanning across normal missions and freelancer. really love seeing this series back and congratulations on coming out
The music from K&L is an interesting factoid. I never played, but I like the references in the Hitman games, because I always like developers to reference their previous games in new ones. Here's a useless fact: Orson (the guy in Hawke's Bay) is mentioned multiple times. The Ark map, the Mendoza map, and the Carpathian (train) map. There is also a nameless guard who has a long history of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. In the Dubai map, I think he's the naked guy in the dressing room. He mentions Paris, Bangkok, and I think another map, including Dubai. I felt so bad for him.
I remember there being a broken ledge in Marrakesh, at the top of the stairs to the school headmaster's terrace. If you dump a body over the end of the edge by the stairs, next to the box, it will kill the npc, even tho you can dump the body 1cm closer the the stairs and it doesn't kill
Thank you for bringing attention to the voice actors and for supporting them instead of AI replacing them. Voice actors deserve same fair wages as anyone else, so again thank you for sticking up for them, it is appreciated.
The fashion show is taking place in the atrium of the palace. They have a tarp covering the event's catwalk. The lights and speakers are not naturally apart of the palace, Sanguine just took it upon themselves to anchor and bolt all that to the seemingly historic building for their fashion show.
On weapon accuracy: I used to avoid the Krugermeyer in Freelancer for its insanely large ADS crosshairs, just to find that in practice it's nearly as accurate as the Silverballer (though far more limited in range and damage). I wonder how many other guns just lie about their accuracy in this way.
I love your dedication to the game! Great videos you provide here! I wonder if you sometimes put up challenges or competitions for your community? Like Hitman Roulette or something?
I occasionally run Community Challenges (some of which have videos covering them on this channel!) in my Discord server, but participation in them has never been particularly high, so I haven't done any in a while. I also do the odd Community Event, which can involve cooperation or competition, but outside of Hitman.
My personal favorite useless Hitman Woa fact is that in hokkaido, if you shoot the right sided heart through the window with a silenced pistol, the guards in the room will have a unique conversation.
Nice to see this series back! I'm now catching up on earlier episodes, but I've noticed that there does not appear to be an episode 6. Did it get copyright claimed or something?
So, I started making F&F #6, but then stopped developing it for reasons I can't even remember anymore. When I started anew by writing a script, as I always do, I checked which episode I was on by looking at the scripts I had in my Google Docs so far, saw the incomplete script for "Facts and Features #6", and assumed I was on #7. After my mistake was pointed out to me, I joked about it in the first Community Challenge video, referring to it as "Episode 6/7 of Facts and Features".
5:30 Huh... wonder if it's actually a NPC frozen in place? Would explain why the stand bleeds and has bullet wound decals when shot. (Same would go for the Scarecrow outfit.)
That's what I was thinking. I'm guessing the programming logic is such that disguises can only be in two states: on an NPC or dropped (appearing as the laundry bag). So in the third state where a disguise is displayed but isn't intended be depicted as being worn by an NPC, the game has to cheese it by putting an NPC corpse under the disguise that disappears when 47 wears the disguise.

Yes, those railings as well as the areas to hide the body in Haven Island waters don't count if you hide a body in them, I think that some other maps have something like this too and if a complication in contract or challenge in Freelancer is to hide the bodies, it will fail the objective or said complication.
Voice actors tend to get around! Just about all of them have a wild work history playing all sorts of characters (sometimes in the same game!) if you look at their IMDb pages. The exact opposite of this phenomenon is Jason Portman, who, despite being a single character present in only two games, has a different voice actor for each of his three appearances.
a kind of useless fact I just discovered, it's that if you have an assault rifle on your back, a suitcase on your left hand and a sword/machete on your right hand, and press the button to switch/equip weapon, the game allows you to hold the suitcase, and you can shoot holding it and not dropping in on the ground. Problem is, it blocks the view so it makes aiming difficult.
Speaking of New York and the lethality of that lady, I've had the frizzie-haired guard guy die by tripping over her while someone was being given the task to bag and tag her.
12:32 Isn't this just the glitch where if target's VIP bodyguard see you holding an illegal item they go blind? It works for most if not all of the target's bodyguard(s) I think.
One of my biggest disappointments in hitman 3 is the striker. In hitman 2, it was actually very fun and useful way to achieve accident kills by shooting the target in the leg so that the target does a backflip and dies by falling down the cliff/drowns in water. Oh well, at least it can still be used as a fast way to hide the body.

Rocco got so paranoid he hired a body double
I LOVE this explanation. Rocco's hired another master of disguise to take his place in Sapienza and try to stop 47 the next time he goes there.
