    fantastic build, I have a tip for the beginners out there: Keep the weight of the quad as low as possible, it's the best way to get the longest flight time. I use a 4s 2300mah on my emax eco ii 2807 1700kv motors and get 14 min of flight time, the dry weight of my 7" is 430g

    we like darn near have the same setup. I have pretty much only flown the super g plus with 5" props at first then moving to 6".
    Like i run-cam phenix 3 too.
    Currently i run 2806.5 but as soon as I break what is in my inventory - moving to these super sweet 2807s. I made two twenty eight zero eight videos on this frame. Dang the battery life was not good but as Jeremy Clarkson would say "power"
    my only question would be about the bells. what happens when you tap a death branch?
    then spiral down, then hit a tree,
    then spiral down, and get stuck in another tree.
    good to fly after hours of rock throwing at said tree then someone gets another drone stuck in the tree?
    or
    call the fire truck because the forest is on fire because i hit a tree at mach 3.
    fyi non of this is like serious, im just having fun.
    thank you for the comment.
    fyi all my videos are soley this similar setup.

    Ok so your approach was big and powerful. Looks like your flights were very smooth. I'm thinking big and light weight.
    I'm thinking a lightweight ~80g 7" frame with 2004 motor, 35A AIO ESC, caddx and 6s. If it turns into a floaty garbage. I'll just salvage the parts into my other current which share those specs. Next month I'll have budget for such shenanigans.

    • @supafpv1759
      @supafpv1759  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Atlas_FPV At the time of filming and building I had the total at around $280. The bnf from iflight has a better stack, and the VTX is relatively the same as the one I have on here. The one I have has the ability to solder a mic on to it, and I believe has a more stable connection on there. The two builds are about the same with the bnf actually having relatively better parts for most of it. I preferred to build my own for cheaper at the time because I knew the props I wanted to pair with the motors, my budget was limited, and I wanted a better camera on the front. Iflight uses a caddx camera that I seriously disliked, so I went the runcam phoenix option on mine, it has great clarity and amazing colors right out of the box for analog.
