Started watching Adam last year and I’ve been bingeing on his videos ever since. For me he’s the best out there. Strips it all down and it all makes sense, what an angler and seems like a great guy.

I remember reading an article in Carpworld written by Adam regarding the Snake Pit common, to this day one of the best reads ever👍🏻
Always used to fish very short sessions, usually 2-3 hours max. Most of this was spent walking and looking, walking and looking, searching for a small opportunity, using one rod usually as a second could spoil any chances, in these sessions the actual fishing time with a rig in the water could sometimes just be a few minutes. If no opportunity presented itself i would just go home without fishing.....i never saw the point of casting out in hope. Those minutes fishing were always exciting as i knew a bite could come any second. Adams message that pinpointing the right area no matter how long it takes is essential.
Really enjoy listening to Adam and love playing Penning bingo, with some new additions to the AP dictionary, tail porn, bubba gump bottom lip, distance reduction.... brilliant 😊

Absolutely fascinating. I don’t fish for Carp, but everything you say fits perfectly for fishing for Barbel on the Severn. Location is obviously the key, but your tactics are sublime…. Softly softly and maybe ‘matching the hatch’.
On the Severn I only use ‘natural’ baits, Hemp Casters maggot and worm.
I shy away from pellets etc because everybody uses them. I’m probably boring you sh*tless but I’ve never not caught using hemp and casters. True.

Love the natural bait mindset, I try and work bloodworm or fish meal boiles in with them in my carp fishing.
Castors for carp unreal bait just don’t seem to get used, Terry Hearn is a big fan of naturals, these over flavoured pop ups have been done to death in my opinion

Adam, please always check the weed thickness. I tested a water, 3 ounce lead. Battled to pull 19 lb line through. Move onto a place you can get the fish out.😊

Hey Adam I have a brand new boilie rocket, one of the old fox ones with the red tipped noses, I must of bought it over 15 years, possibly 20 years ago and it’s only been used once, it’s in a kitchen drawer !

Adam, one can use an aqualung kit, like Super Sid. Then count your baits on the bottom of the lake 😅
I would love to go Carp fishing but had my gear knicked by a thought was a friend who i use to go carp fishing with his name is carl Williams and lived in Jex Avenue Norwich Norfolk.

Isn't a heli setup that drops the lead losing the main safety point of a heli setup? In the event of a brake/cut off, the lead is the anchor so the hooklink can slide up the leader so the fish only trails the hooklink, so what happens without the lead?
