Real bloke and very interesting to listen to. Not just about fishing. Probably one of the fisherman to not make the most of his commercial potential due to his love of fishing and honesty.
Met Frank a number of times at Capesthorne whe he was fishing there and the Mere, he's the same now as he was then. Once you got talking he never stopped and he was just as free with advice, maybe not the latest stuff that was bagging them on the Mere but always seemed keen to help people put fish on the bank for other people, that wasn't always appreciated by some (lot of secrecy at that time) but I always enjoyed chatting to him. Thanks guys enjoyed that.
Wowsers.....he might look like a extra from The Sweeney, but this was the best podcast yet! A geezer oozing integrity, and what a Carp Angler. Would be a dream to bump into him. Just sublime.
What an absolute top bloke, so much experience and knowledge, been at the top of his game forever. On a personal note, I too am a military brat, who was born at the military hospital in Mtarfa, Malta, my father too was in the navy and was posted their just as my parents had just got married in 1966. They talk about their time there with found memories and with me been their first born in 67, means a lot. So it was a great surprise to here the place of my birth mentioned on a Carp Podcast. Thanks Frank
so sad...all the legends that have passed and we cant hear their story is devastating, alot of the early cassien boys have died aswell. Imagine having dick walker on this aswell.
Absolutely one of my angling heroes. I can still recall seeing frank casting obscene distances at Horton about twenty years ago. Blew my mind. At that point I didn’t even know carp rods could do what he made them do. I think he might have blown one up. Legend. I remember watching one of his slide shows at sandown. He had just signed for Dynamite and it was big news. He was asked what his favourite bait was, most others would have towed the line and said The Source at the time. Franks answer was sweet corn, absolutely no bullshit. I bet the Dynamite guys must have thought oh god what have we done. Absolutely no f@@ks given. Great to see him recovering well.
Thanks Wayne, your right about my principles I tell it how it is, to be fair my integrity has cost me dearly but at least my conscience is clear. It’s fantastic you recognised this mate I really appreciate that Thank you mate x
@@frankwarwick8068 Enjoyed the video, especially the bit about the bow cast as you call it, have used this cast for many many years when lure fishing but again you have to be very careful how you hold the lure!! also an advantage of using glassfibre lure rods you can pull a small tight bend in the tip and it wont snap.
Franks a absolute legend , a hero of mine too , totally agree. Honest to a fault , a lovely lovely knowledgable man !! And I’m lucky enough to call him a friend. Dale
A fantastic watch. Well done to Korda. It shows real foresight and maturity to widen these podcasts out across the sport. It would have been very easy to keep these 'in house' and use for product promotion.
Frank is an absolute legend.Still enjoy the 5 Days In France with Frank & Jacko. Being from the North West myself it means more. Frank Warwick is the one of best carp anglers ever 👍
Apart from the early lads who got carp fishing started dick walker etc, frank warwick, max cottis and steve briggs have to all be in the top 10 carp anglers
Korda and Simon, excelled. Spell bound by Frank’s knowledge and what great stories these carping legends have. I bet Sonik are pleased they don’t specialise in weighing scales. Frank don’t need scales when he’s already sensed the weight of the carp swimming up to his rig for a mouthful. Learnt so much in these 3 hrs.
Again, well done korda for inviting anglers affiliated with other brands and allowing them too mention there affiliations, korda clearly showing itsnot all about revenue. Few names to suggest Chilli, hearn and bowler too mention just a few
Took me a couple sittings but learnt some valuable information throughout this one. All the baiting tactics, times and flavours 👌🏻 thanks frank for sharing the knowledge.
The more I hear Frank, the more respect I have for him. I first saw this “3:43! I not listening for three and three-quarters hours!” But then I started, listened to it all, and even went back to listened to some part again!
What a breath of fresh air having Frank on the pod cast well done Korda a genuine guy which changed the carp catching game with his forward thinking , what a legend 👍
Very nice Podcast! I use the bow cast while lurefishing for trout on small rivers with overhanging trees since years. Never thought about doing for Carpfishing. Great idea👍💪🎣 You just have to be carefull, as a Child I hooked myself once with that cast 😂 Regards, Dominik
What a great vlog/Pod cast. Really interesting Frank being frank as it used to be. What an insight into his life carp and home. And glad to hear he's on the mend albeit slowly from Covid and his stroke. Pleasure to have been able to listen to it.
Really enjoyed that , I know frank from years back when he had a shop. He is one of the nice guys always keen to help, no secrets and not in it for the fame or the money. I’m waiting now for part 2.
Well, by far one of the best pods uv done, a honest bloke who tells it as it is, frank just take ur meds and u’ll be fine flying, trust me, having a heart attack last yr, and I’ve done two trip to Turkey .... loved it🎣🎣🎣
When I first started angling age 6 on my own with some dodgy 5ft foot fibre glass rod fishing set think it cost a fiver from a local general store, I went to this local lake started chucking it out and can't even remember what bait i used if any 😂and this guy came along probably a bailiff, said you can't fish here its members and so on,this was the mid 80s but this man spent some time with me, he never told me off he saw me for what I was just a child aged 6 just 6 without a clue and he taught me how to cast and told me what tackle id need to start my fishing adventure, the fish that really caught my attention and still holds deep respect from me is pike, I know the reason I got hooked on carp fishing down the road, its easier fishing with greater rewards , regardless of how hard and difficult it can be catching these whily old clued up fish and blanking hoping for that 20 or 30 you've been hoping for, you could be blanking off the back of kings weir hoping for your first 5lb chub or live baiting 20 yards off of cheshunt lock or dobbs weir for your first 20lb pike
Good mates with Danny fairbrass. Seen them outside trees of Wilmslow back in the day, frank took Danny to redes, Danny blanked, cockneys don’t catch up north.
You better have him back! I wasn't disappointed! Franks such a lovely fella and it really shows here. I'm gonna give that rig a go.. where's my crimp??
I've watched all of the podcasts and for me this one was the most inspiring. This man is just amazing. I can't put my finger on it but there's just something about him. Maybe its the way he talks or how he tells a story but without a doubt this was a game changer, for me anyway and it just made me want to actually meet him and just shake his hand
Met Frank in 2000 when he cast over the River Danube in Vienna, being a keen young Carp Angler back then, it was when he showed me the Chod and took all the time in the world for me to explain all of its details. So approachable for us youngsters - what a fantastic experience and ,,kick" to get even crazier about carping.. My feeling told me back then, this is a somebody who you wish to have as a friend and call yourself lucky. Always honest. Always straight. And A BIG heart. Often times we met again after. Never disappointed since. See you soon Frank, I hope. Benji
Loved this talk what a lovely man a wealth of experience something in here for us all too take away hope to meet you one day frank all the best for the future 👍👍👍
James Anderson hopefully they would be grown up about it - Cundiff is with Nash, arguably a bigger competitor and they had no problem letting him on the Podcast. It’s like Fairbrass says, anything like this promotes the sport and in turn helps all companies related to it.
Maybe so, but I suspect itll depend on what he is contractually obliged to do, or not to do. Lets be honest the current format of the ESP vids are great, and if I was them I wouldn't want anything getting in the way of them. Just my view
Agreed; can’t beat Tel popping another log on the fire and telling a tale in a way only he can. I’d like to see him on here to learn a little more about him as a person. I’m sure Simon would explore some things the esp videos don’t touch on. Let’s see what happens
I keep watching this vlog over and over @FrankWarwick,what a guy 🎣🐟🐟🐟🐟
I could listen to Frank Warwick all day, I’ve listened to this several times already.
Best one yet. You need to do a series with frank. Incredibly knowledgeable and thinking angler
I’ve watch this episode 3 times now. Frank is just joy to listen to. Please more of him! Also please invite Adam Penning!
Wowsers.....he might look like a extra from The Sweeney, but this was the best podcast yet! A geezer oozing integrity, and what a Carp Angler. Would be a dream to bump into him. Just sublime.
Great podcast from Frank, true legend and pioneer of the sport ! Could listen to the guy all day.... Looking forward to part 2 !
What an absolute Gent, was one of the main faces of carp fishing for me growing up, seeing clips and reading articles, top top angler.
Frank Warwick , the true definition of a thinking angler .
Very enjoyable lads good work! Frank comes across as a sound lad!

Frank and Pete Regan should have regular guest slots on the podcast. Highly entertaining but brilliant carp fishing minds. Thank you Korda.
Brilliant pod cast. Frank is very good to listen to. Imagine if this was around in time to have had Rod Hutchinson on it.
so sad...all the legends that have passed and we cant hear their story is devastating, alot of the early cassien boys have died aswell. Imagine having dick walker on this aswell.

Absolutely quality. Great story teller and top fella.

Yes Korda should start running the bbc , itv, Channel 4, channel 5 and sky news . Unbiased opinion is needed
Another great podcast!! I found it really interesting, i hope there is a part 2!
Took me a couple sittings but learnt some valuable information throughout this one. All the baiting tactics, times and flavours 👌🏻 thanks frank for sharing the knowledge.
What an absolute Legend Frank is! Awesome bloke and a top angler.

One of my favourite podcasts so far 👌🏻
Brilliant thanks

Brilliant best yet, what a mind
blew my mind!!! frank warwick amazing!!
Well done Frank great Podcast👏👏
Excellent, enjoyed every minute.
One of the very best 👍
This is now my new favourite Korda Podcast. So good I had to stop listening on Spotify and watch on TH-cam! What a guy Frank Warwick is.👍👍
Get Matt Hayes on, or a few pre Korda era anglers that haven’t seen the light of day for a while.
Matt and the Duke!! 👍
Frank’s been around on the scene much much longer than Korda have existed 🤷🏼♂️
If there's anyone left without tunnel vision for carp angling then matt Hayes is the best all rounder out there

A real legend and true character!

Very enjoyable, really interesting stuff, not just the fishing, for what it's worth, I'm as interested in birding, butterflies\moths and wildflowers.
Brilliant 👍
Excited for this. Finally👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
