    i bought minirigs 3 because of you... and they had its flaws in sound quality you did not mentioned... in some genres they have been a 10 out of 10 in terms of imaging, sound quality, frequency... jazz, swing and this stuff... acoustic music was perfect.. it was like sitting in the music having a band playing for you...
    BUT:
    hearing anything electronical... it sounded weird??? it didnt sound a bit worse... it just sounded weird... not good...
    and i could not eq it out... something about the speakers that makes it unpleasant in certain genres...
    i would rather have a 8 - 9 out of 10 in every genre than an absolute 10 and in others like 4....
    i bought 2 speaker pairs because of reviews, one in ear because of reviews.... and they where just shit... moondrop aria... just shit.... no clear highs, overbloated bass with no definition... boring sound and muddy... some older wharfedale diamond - sounded boring as fuck... tried EQ to get more bass and better highs... it just sounded boomy and akward after eq... no bass at all... i dont know if the preowner of it made a mistake (he put better parts in it)... i dont know...
    but since then i only trust what i hear and my recommondation is: go into a store and listen to the stuff, or be ready to sell stuff you think sounds not good if you buy used...
    in ears are a problem tho... no return possible if you buy them new
    the best sound i heard was from the audio pro addon t10 gen 2...
    just joyful... exciting with great bass but still clear...
    and i will buy audio pro again (t8l for 170 euros)...
    because i know the sound
    you cant really trust ANY reviews of anything in terms of sound quality of speakers - headphones...
    the moondrop aria especially - no one said "hey the bass is muddy, the highs are turned down and bass overbloat)... how on eart are these
    "in ear monitors"???? WTF
    i trust no source except for my ears

      Have you found any good speakers looking at these as well as kanto tuk and vanattoo encore plus?

    • @Simsonlover222
      @Simsonlover222 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Krispy-3 Hi there, i ended up getting the audio pro addon t8l...(2.0 active stereo speakers) because i had good experience with the audio pro addon t10 (single bluetooth speaker)... and i am more then pleased... it needs eq too, but it gets so good after eq...
      it sounds really HIFI AND FUN... bass is bass, no boomy sound (especially when u put them on stands), and the highs are not pinchy, yet clear and detailed
      a small problem: they are not build anymore, and the new audio pro products are a bit expensive, altough i dont know if they have large improvements...
      crazy that this speaker is 9 years old, but sounds so good
      my tip really is to drive to a HIFI store and listen to the products in person...
      not a single youtube presentation can give you the real experience... its almost a blind buy
      what you could also do: buy new speakers, lsten to them and send them back if you dont like... and if you like them you could send them back and buy them used for a better price
      klippsch and nubert are often sold on second hand market place (look up for products used that are available new, so you can test them before "actually buying" them
      for me the audio pro addon t8l showed me again what is possible in the hifi world and what a crazy experience good sound is... i want a WOW factor, i want to fell in love with the sound, while also beeing really detailed... and they showed me that you dont need to spend much money to just get amazing sound (in 2014 they cost 290 euros new, no DAC or AMP needed)
      and i recommend using EQ, play with EQ, some speakers get an extreme upflift with EQ

    Haha Yamaha were doing this way before Triangle, KEF, Dynaudio and whoever else. Maybe they can match my from 2016 Yamaha NX-N500 Mini Monitor Proper both speakers powered with own power cable, active with A/B Bi amplifier with time aligned signal RJ45 connection and XLR connections speaker to speaker with LAN ethernet, Wifi 802.11N, DLNA, UPnP. MusicCast multiroom. Mine are still working flawlessly playing my 24Bit 192 KHz collection through Tidal, Qobuz. With many other streaming services and Alexa and Google assistant built into it. These were worth £1100 brand new. See SixMoons review. These go down to 35Hz and 40KHz. And these are probably the same size as those Triangle AIO. Triangle released their Capella which i think might be slightly bigger at £2500 or $2500 maybe ?

      It would be up to the manufacturer of the amp modules. Triangle would have to order changes from that external company.

  • @mlacmi4470
    @mlacmi4470 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Did you try plugging a regular DAC into the RCAs and see how/if the sound changes? I was under the impression that if it messes with the sound that would happen digitally (at least with DSP of course), but maybe I'm wrong in thinking that? Is it the amp that's tweaking the sound then (although you mentioned that it's probably outsourced)?
    Would make sense that you don't lose performance by feeding it analog signal, considering it's got a phono in... Or it does the forbidden and goes ADC-->DAC internally to apply its magics...
    Sorry if this is a stupid question... Having a hard time figuring out if it'd be best to use a good external DAC or try to keep it digital all the way into the speaker

    • @herbstwerk
      @herbstwerk 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@juliangst True, but the Asian stuff seems to be way more present and easier to get in the US than around here as well besides the local stuff like Klipsch. E.g. I've tried contacting Linsoul as they have limited listings on Amazon when I was thinking about buying a pair of GL2000s, they couldn't or wouldn't even answer if it will ship from within Europe or directly from China. A potential surprise €150 on €700 is like a 20% price difference... it was their loss in the end as I didn't buy them with that in mind. It seems like we really don't have any options other than hoping bigger distributers like Audiophonics pick something up or have to trust some obscure webstore with a page straight out of the 90ties isn't fucking you over. Sadly this also isn't just a problem with audio, but (fountain) pens, keyboard parts, and (kitchen) knifes as well. Anyway, 1st world problems and my own fault for choosing expensive hobbies I guess. XD

    • @juliangst
      @juliangst 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@herbstwerk I don't really have problem buying audio products directly from China. Most of the time you won't have to pay any fees or duties. I wouldn't say that US people are more privileged than us in that regard.
      I would agree that most products appear on amazon prime here later than on amazon US but if you can't wait, audiophonics always has the new stuff from big companies like smsl or topping a few days/weeks after realease.
      But yeah, I totally get that it's a pain to import so much stuff from China.
      I think there are only a few hobbies left where you can get all your stuff locally and not from across the world.

    Interesting review z, I have budget Yamaha amp and mission speakers and want to upgrade, but was worried if my system matching was wrong ,I'd get a bright sound. I'm hoping the triangles are warmish and full,like a improved version of my current set up.

      Well Kali is Studio Monitors. So none of these convenience features. No USB, No Digital inputs, No remote, No Bluetooth.
