This is the only Kieron Gillen book that I can read without being bored.
Kieron Gillen leaves me cold too (had to drop Iron Man thanx to him), but this book isn’t for me, either.
I'm gonna check it out now because I hear a lot about it. I need to know if I'm going to be into it. Also not gonna watch the rest of the video until I read it.
How can you not like Shaun of the dead and got fuzz?? Those are some of the best comedies that herald back Monty Python and the holy grail!!
I think you all three bring up great and true points, and it all comes down to personal preference. To me, my immediate initial impression of the series was Nic Cage’s National Treasure movies of characters running around chasing clues from the past. In the end I’m really hoping Netflix picks this series up.

I have not read this comic but from what I'm hearing is the pacing never relents, not allowing slower moving times for character development and enough time to take in the emotional ride the reader's been on. If you're not allowed time to ponder and take in what's going on, you can't get emotionally invested in the characters. You want the reader to feel what's happening with them, not to them.

It's nice to have a comic there's a little bit unpredictable then to seeing everything and leaving nothing to the imagination.

I love once and future. It’s a book that will never leave my pull file. To each their own though. I hate all things Vampirella and lady death and I know tons of people love those books 🤷🏻♂️

I got a vampire hunter Ben 10 vibe when reading this book, but with kick a$$ art (might be influenced by my son watching Ben 10 though lol)

I like Dan Mora's work with his DC stuff so I considered this book. Given your respective takes, I'm glad I passed. I did dive into Boom Studio's "We Only Find Them When They Are Dead" and I think I'm out already. The art by Simone Di Meo is astounding, but Al Ewing's script is bland and after Issue #2 has not captured me like a new book should. But I still have #3-4 coming due to pre-orders, but I dropped #5 due in January from my DCBS pull.
I vote for crazy... :)

Don't get me wrong once and future is always on my pull lol just not my favorite boom title. And for the record boom is killing it. The new 90s valiant . I just hope they don't suffer the same fate.
