Kieron Gillen is talented as hell. I had no idea he was British.
Same but that last name was suspicious
MJ Regan I had a pretty good hunch that he was British with his Uber comic and it’s theme of an alternative history of Britain and Germany during WW2,
(What if Hitler and Churchill had an actual Super-soldier program during WW2?)
plus the fact that Alan Moore mentioned it in some interview due to him being a fan of several of Gillen’s comics such as Uber & The Wicked + The Divine.
Imagine pitching this idea to a comic book publisher: “So yeah, it’s about a grandma and her grandson fighting demons and ghosts all in search of Excalibur.” “GET OUTTA MY OFFICE!”

Duncan and his Grandmother is honestly the greatest highlight of the comic. Really love the dynamic they have.
Oh god! He's British! H-his natural, genetic charm! I-it's drawing me in! AND he's going to be tackling Arthurian Lore? I have one, anime version of King Arthur firmly placed into my heart, but this version seems a strong runner up.
