This video brings back fun memories of when I first saw this game. It was from a content creator named DangerouslyFunny. He always rushed content and achieved some odd goals, but in the end, I was convinced to get the game just after the Pond was released.
I just played it on game pass for Xbox until its full release

the nostaglia of old grounded is gold wondering how long it will take for the red anthill to die seeing how fast i can get mint mace seeing how much i can dupe 100s of chests full of mint maces old grounded was amazing
I have a challenge for you. Survival where the only weapons you can use is the non-conventional weapons. An example is a Shovel, canteen, Staffs, and rocks.
Not a bad idea, I did canteen only a long time ago and it was the slowest experience ever I can’t lie

Back when mint mace was the best thing, when acorn armor was cheap and the second best, and when taking down a wolf spider took a whole militia and hours of preparation. These were the days that, despite our nostalgia, and despite our stories, were so much worse than how it is now.
nice video 👍🏽 very interesting. you should have kept the voice lines on just for the video tho, would have loved to hear the old lines and how much the dialogue changed as well.

Quick thing at the start, you only recently started using mouse and keys right? Sometimes Grounded kinda bugs out when you tab out and esc and other keys stop working in the UI, so just tab out and back in again and it should be fine. Obviously a very old build you're on so could also just be a bit broken on that version!
Cool video! I reckon you could take on a wolf because I'm pretty sure parrying interrupts its 5 attack combo, so parry, land a hit or two leaving enough time to parry again, rinse and repeat. Did you downgrade on Steam to be able to play this old version? Been wanting to do some OG Grounded speedruns for a while
Yeah I just looked up a guide on how to do it then changed to the earliest version I could get. And yeah was probably just not tabbed in properly
Yah I think we need a 100 days where the game updates every so often to new versions, ending with 1.4 or smth

I remember being so scared of the wolf spider, my brother showed me the game like a week after it came out in 2020, the spider went over to the mysterious machine and my brother had to protect me

Stuff getting removed like items in webs almost certainly ended up being a performance issue

Yeah it’s the same version, so anything possible the would be possible in this as they’re identical
I plan to max out every tier three weapon and variation. it'll take about 1560 brittle AND supreme whetstone to do. Wish me luck.

One thing i wish they kept was the ramp in the lab, look how smoothly you ran up that, I erally dislike that new jank-ass broken ramp they have now
Yeah I know what you mean but it also gives it a more broken feel now which makes sense since it did just blow up
@@Paraly5er I agree, aesthetically its the way to go, just would have preferred the smoother run rather than always having to jump and whack my head every time i leave the lab. I don't miss the wolf spiders spawning inside the lab, so many times i would open that door to the hallway and BAM! Wolfey came to say hi
