I always read comments! Maybe not all if there at 800 but I learning something else usually when reading the comments. Did you know you could "pin" your comment to the top of the comennt section? I don't know how to do it though; I've just seen it done; that way Everybody will see and read it!

Hands down... best tip of the year! Found this at just exactly the right time: I had messed up two intricate foiled die-cuts trying to use the Xyron as the adhesive! FYI: I don't have a Gemini, so I tried it with the Sizzix BigKick using this sandwich: original Multi-purpose Base with both Tabs, Chrome Precision Base Plate, die-cut with Xyron adhesive, silicon rubber mat, regular acrylic cutting plate. It worked perfectly!

I just wanted to let you know that this is the BEST technique I have ever tried. It saved my sanity while making table favors for Thanksgiving that consisted of very intricate cuts from my Cricut machine. Love,love, love this!! Thank you!

This was by far the most valuable tip for intricate dies. This video is a gem for gluing such detailed dies because no matter how careful I am for applying liquid glue, I make a mess. This tip alone earned you a new subscriber! Now I just have to find my xyron that I was going to pitch because of the sticky mess. I make cards and I RUINED several completed cards after putting the last component on the front the "intricate die". I could have cried ,( I think I did) HOURS of work down the drain. The Xyron was banished to some dark corner never to be used again. I watched your other videos to ( I have the full Gemini, the Empress, the mini, etc., etc. manual machines too) and I can't wait to try them all. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I’m glad l found this video, l just got the xyron & have used it a few times but thought l must not be using it right, with all the sticky stuff getting on my cards & everything else. I am SO glad i found this; thank you! I am desperate for an adhesive solution. I have tried everything. I finally discovered these sheets of adhesive that really help but are not always reliable for some reason. Then i was watching Anna Griffin's show and heard her say to use Xyron. I had never heard of it! I am still not sure how she uses it for piecing, but i had to look it up. I spelled it all wrong, but AI seemed to catch it and corrected my search. Thank heavens! I am dying to try this! I would have been crushed if i had spent that much money and then had those icky problems! I have ruined so many cards, especially using metallic card stock! I was dying for a solution. I started with various glues, but they ruined my intricate dies or dried before i could painstakingly finish getting glue on them. And the tape runners! Oh, the tape runners! So many i have had to throw out after only a few uses! They won't roll or just come apart! I tried every trick they suggested! I still have 2 more brands in the drawer, but I am afraid to even try! I bet i have spent well over $200 on adhesives in the 8 months that i have been card making! One glue i opened, and it had turned to sponge rubber! Ha! No one could believe it when i returned it. I have the most lovely dies, but I had almost given up when i found the sheets. Yet, they did not seem strong enough at times, so maybe this is the solution. I am dying to try piecing but cannot quite understand how to cut it so the pieces don't fall out. Thank you!❤

Thank you. I gave up using my xyrons a couple years ago for anything with detail. I tried many ways to clean up the glue. Even use powder to unstuck the top. But, that can get messy. I will give this a shot. Was going to donate them and the refills.

I'm blown away!! I thought I was having trouble with my Xyron and the darn webs because the sheets were old. I almost trashed my Zyron! Thank you for saving me, and all of us so much aggravation!! Just have to try this out and figure out my Big Shot sandwich for this technique.

Oh my! I had stopped using my Xyron machine just because of this. Now I can use it again. Thank you, thank you, thank you Missy. Have only watched 2 of your video's so far (subscribed on the 1st one). Now that says something about you. You give info that is worthwhile without all the hype about trying to sell something that a company makes. Info that really HELPS a card maker - that is worth subscribing for. thanks!!! Thank you, Missy. I had a Xyron laminator that I got rid of because it was really hard to change the cartridge to the adhesive one. Now that I see you using yours I will give another try to the ones I have (the little sticker maker and the Create a sticker Max). I'm sure glad and thankful I found you!

Just tried this. First, I tried with the faster Spellbinders embossing may, disaster. Worked beautifully with the CC mat. Always follow directions!

I love the fact that you took your time to show those that would have all the machines the simpler way bot for me as i only have cricut to cut things out its faster just to get fine tip glue and stick it down without all the hustle still thank you for all the tutorialsstill👍 as always
Hello Maggie! I also have a Cricut and love using it! I’m so glad working with glue works for you. I use glue a lot too when I work with my cricut. But when I’m working with my super intricate die cuts, they are so intricate, gluing is nearly impossible. This is actually a really quick process once you are use to the machines. I do this process very quickly, but slow it down in my videos so everyone understands the process. Have a wonderful new year!

I am so glad I ran across this video. I had used my Xyron before and got spider legs. I am definitely going to try this probably tomorrow. I would try this tonight, but I would have to get everything out since I don’t have a craft room - just my breakfast room table .

I’ll give this a try. I have been running my cardstock through the Xyron first and then die cutting. That works, also, but the backing gets die cut so you have to peel off the intricate backing which can be a challenge. TFS
You will definitely like doing it this way. I used to do it the same way as you and I got so frustrated with that backing. I can’t wait for you to try this. Thank you so much for watching and supporting my channel. ❤️
