Oh my goodness. It's such a beautiful card that it caught my eye so I started watching. It wasn't long before I realized I wouldn't have the patience to do this, as beautiful as it is; however, I was mesmerized by your voice and calm speaking cadence as well as the beautiful colors, so I couldn't help myself: I watched through to the end! 😊 Thank you for the relaxing, informative tutorial!
Thank you so much for taking the time to make such informative and well explained videos! I’m new to card making and these kind of videos show what can be achieved with this hobby! 🙏 you are appreciated
Wow Charlene! Both cards are just beautiful. I love how you used the press n seal to place the die cut images. You have soooooo much patience to flip that hinge back and forth to meticulously place every image. I LOVE IT!!! Thank you for continuing to inspire! ❤❤❤
Thanks, Yvette! ❤️ The Press ‘n Seal is the only thing that makes these cards possible for me. 😜 I wouldn’t even try to get all those tiny pieces on a card otherwise! 😆
So fresh, crisp and lovely! And while I prefer hinging stencils at the top, and have used Press N Seal, it’s never dawned on me to hinge Press N Seal so thank you!
Hi Charlene, I came across your channel quite by chance but I’m so glad I did. You had some tips that I hadn’t know about before and your voice is very pleasant to listen to as well. So…I hit the subscribe button and look forward to seeing more of your videos. 😊
This is such a versatile variety of goodies! So many ideas and fantastic inspiration. You did a beautiful job (as always) using these products to create truly beautiful results. That die is perfectly designed. I like your Stickles tip with the stencil.
I liked the bold-colored card at the beginning. Much to my mother's disappointment, I'm not a soft, pastel kind of gal. I love bold colors. The wreath was beautiful. Ideas started percolating in my mind. I love putting little things like that together, but I’m not sold on your press ‘n seal method.
Thank you! I still use the Press N Seal method, but I also like to do reverse gluing where I glue from the top piece down to the bottom piece after I’ve arranged everything. 🙂
Beautiful cards! And i keep forgetting that gorgious stickles product , i have them too but hardly ever use them, keep forgetting them, thx 4 the reminder😁
I had never thought about using Stickles with a pallet knife. I have a ton of Stickles, and am excited to try this technique. That would be after I buy a pallet knife. Lol. I’ve never used lunar paste or anything like that. Is there a learning curve, or is it pretty straight forward? As always, love your card Charlene!
Thanks, Kathy! ❤️ I think you’ll catch on with the palette knife pretty quickly. It’s not all that different from frosting a cake or putting butter on toast. 🙂 And now I’m hungry. 🤣
Can you die-cut small rectangles? I ask because I would like to try making U-cards for cassette tapes. I would like to try cutting out the rectangles with curved widths. They would be like the commercially printed inlay cards. The holes are for the hub pins in the cassette case.
These cards are beautiful! Love your colors! Question: do you not find that the sticky residue from the Press and Seal comes off on your stamps? I ask because when I used it on my dishes, it did come off, so I threw it away. Ha!
As long as your ink is dry and you don’t press too hard (just enough to get the paper to lightly stick) I have found no residue. It takes a little practice. 🙂
Thanks, Denise. ❤️ The Craft Your Life Project kit recently changed to subscription only unlike the Marvelous Monthly series from Altenew. It is, however, super easy to cancel or skip a month of the subscription. This kit is the kit for July, so if you sign up by July 2nd you will receive the kit in July! Hope that answers your question. 🙂
The card is very pretty but I think you're extremely patient and precise. Adhering all those layers would be really difficult for me. I'm definitely not as patient as you.
I have a lot of the AltNew embossing folders with and without metal dies to cut out parts of the embossed spots. I've seen these kits and questioned how they work in real life. I understand what it's meant to do just questioned the practicality and if it fits my personality. Like yours not always patient. However I I know want to look and see what they have in this KIT fashion. Definitely great you can cut out all the pieces you colored and stamped and then glue them in other design styles on a card or several perhaps. One thing I hate and my neighbor also card maker likes me for is no patience in dies that cut out tiny bits you all assemble later. This reminds me of that. But if I get a die that's just too fussy I gift it to my neighbor who is not bothered with such details. To be fair I have double vision and something called a macular fold or wrinkle. This interferes with detail work. For example my hand applying glue may miss a tiny object or very narrow piece of lettering for example and attempt to apply in the air. I can see two objects though there is only one. So no doubt that plays a big part in my impatience with detail work with tiny bits of pieces. I have never learned to use layering stencils and your demonstration today hooked me to give it a try. I have several hero art stencil and die cutting with stamped images kits too I suppose they could be called. Now I know how to approach them. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Thank you! I’m glad the video was helpful. ❤️ Small die cuts can definitely be finicky and I imagine very hard to work with when you have double vision. Thankfully there are so many options out there for everyone. 🙂
Ink will dry on the stencils, but it needs to be cleaned off before you use the stencil again. Otherwise the new ink will mix with the old ink and change the outcome of the color. Hopefully that answers your question. 🙂

I was happy to learn about using Stickles this way, too!
Pretty cards!
Thanks, Teri! ❤️

I imagine so if you had the right dies. Maybe with a mini slimline rectangle die and two small circle dies?
Beautiful! Thank you!❤
Thank you! 🙂

Hi, Melba. They are made by a small company called The Ink Stand. They are sold several places. I think I have a link in the video description. 🙂
