I'm spending 3 last weeks with my grandchildren, taking them camping and we're going to wade in creeks, build a fort and I'm going to teach them about some of the healing plants I so loved to identify and photograph and teach them to build a fire. I'm dying and they do not know, but I taught them all that I could and I was a good nana and maybe they'll think back on all, the many adventures we had and remember me with a smile.

I often go to this song at the loss of a loved one especially around 911. Just lost a 7 year old granddaughter who had what we all thought was a manageable heart defect. But she got sick & heart stopped and an Angel died to be an Angel above . Again I sought Sarah’s song nothing comes close

I had a best friend for over fifty years. If we didn't see each other during the day, we talked on the phone every day. He was big into feeding the birds. He had two or three feeders in his yard. When he died of cancer, we had a beautiful red cardinal show up every morning and set on our windowsill and peck at the glass. It did this for over two years before it ended. My wife and I don't feed the birds. True story

And finding comfort the only way that was thought possible,"In the arms of the angles". If you haven't been there, in that situation it's hard to comprehend! The struggle is enormous!
