- Hey my pretty family!! Just here to share my progress building my renter friendly, budget friendly closet! I decided to go with ikea pax system because it is more cost effective especially if you rent or dont want a permanent built in, the ikea pax system looks built in but can actually be moved! the best part is, it is way easier on your wallet at a budget. Total for my ikea pax cost me about $1650, that's with tax! If you call around for built in walk in closet prices, you will be quoted A LOT MORE... 10k+ usually. hope this video helps you build your own budget friendly walk in closet. xoxo Thania

I get what you mean about how you’re attracted to Manny. My hubby is a software engineer but he’s handy as well. He built bookcases from scratch for his apartment because he couldn’t find what he wanted. My hubby is very supportive and is willing to help me when I need it. He supports my dreams instead of holding me back or discourage me because it’s not what he wants. The men who are supportive and uplifting are definitely keepers. I think it’s awesome he lets you decorate everything in pink. Most men would be like, nope. It’s sweet he’s like, it’s ok I’ll live in pink.

I completely understand where you're coming from. I think a man that helps you, supports you, creates with you and works well with you is a huge turn on. I think for me it symbolizes protection and a good provider. Even if you're an independent woman, we all want a hard working, protective, problem solving man!!!!💚
I wish I had a Trader Joe's in my country because everybody online raves about that store and their food looks really amazing 😍...and yes I agree having a man that is helpful and supportive is such a blessing. I am happy Manny is always willing to help you not matter what 😁👍🏾.
You did such a fantastic job building your closet and Vanity, and all while still in school. Most people would hire someone to build their closet, but gurl, you're such an inspiration because you're not afraid of hard work.

4:19 GIRL THANK YOUR MAN! So you know how you can be in a store, look at some makeup product or clothing, and you Love the color and buy it.. but when you come out from the store, into the daylight, it just doesn’t look as fantastic or magical anymore.. let me introduce you to the fkn power of yellow/warm lighting🤦🏼♀️ I fkn hate it with all my heart haha! It’s really nice in like a living room, it’s also called ‘cozy lighting’ so yeah, but for makeup and clothes.. stores know that yellow/warm lights makes Everything look good! And I noticed that Sooo few people seem to know about this lighting thingy🤷🏼♀️ Most mirrors with lights and everything light related has warm toned light, around 2600 Kelvin, daylight, the Sunlight outside, is around 6000K! 6000k will look blue for you at first, only bc you’re so used to the fkn yellow light (I hate it) but Trust me, you won’t regret it! Bc when you have a makeup vanity with warm lights, for example, your foundation will look like your perfect shade… UNTIL you walk out in daylight and see your face and realize that it’s not even close… I don’t know how much money I spent on so called “yellow toned” foundations, though they were yellow and light/white enough for me and thought I had Finally found a good foundation shade (I’m fair asf but have a yellow undertone which seem to be impossible to make a foundation shade for🙃) but then I walk into daylight and notice that it’s a bit too dark and also sooo pink toned in comparison to my skin… also, my struggle, living in Sweden were we basically don’t have shit, 5000-6000 kelvin lightbulbs that isn’t so bright that they literally blinds you are non existent…😫😤😭 my vanity have 10 lightbulbs that are 270 lumen each, the only lightbulbs I can find that aren’t warm toned are 470 lumen… my mom called it construction lights…. I had to return them bc I can barely even sit in front of them bc they are so fkn strong, and I can’t find Any lights that aren’t warm toned and aren’t 470 lumen, so yeah you are So lucky that you have a husband who knows about lighting bc I’m telling you.. the struggle is SO FKN REAL!😫😭😭 the closet looks fantastic so far at least! (I have not finished the video yet heh)

Please bolt your shelving in your dressing room to the wall. You are in earthquake country and during an earthquake you don’t want the entire shelving system to fall down on one of your kitties or yourself. These are the recommended guidelines for safety during an earthquake. You may also want to each have bags ready with all of your medications, Change of clothes, your passport birth certificate another essential documents, a very good sturdy pair of shoes and a flashlight or a crank radio with flashlight and bottled waters in case of an earthquake that necessitates evacuation from your premises. I don’t mean to startle you but earthquakes do happen here. Your apartment is looking really beautiful. Thank you for this video showing us how happy a young married couple can be. I agree with you, I also am extremely attracted to men who know how to use their hands and build things. I could never marry a man who Wasn’t good with building things and taking care of the car, as I come from a family of men who can build and are good mechanics. This just provides a whole other level of peace and confidence.
