I’m retired and have the time now but couldn’t come up with any ideas! I am so happy you mentioned Etsy as a source for fabric. I love your gentle, calming voice and your enthusiasm! Thank you!
Welcome to the Stone Cottage Home family, Miss Nancy! We are thrilled to have you along and grateful to Miss Sherry for sending you our way. Happy vintage linen crafting!
the drapes and valance look great, I do suggest raising them up to ceiling height, as high as you can go on the wall. It will be more dramatic and look fabulous. great job on everything, so glad Canterbury Cottage sent us to you
Welcome to the Stone Cottage Home, Miss Julie! We are glad to have you along and grateful;t o Miss Sherry for sending you. Yes, we did actually raise the pelmet higher after completing that project. Thanks for the feedback and have a lovely day!

Good morning, Miss Sheryl! Yes, Miss Sherry is the sweetest & Im grateful she was willing to work with me! Thanks for stopping by to visit. Have a lovely day!
Rachel, I just realized that I hadn't commented on (or even "liked") your video. 🥴 You gave some important decorating advice when you said you didn't know what you were going to do with the needlepoint, but you bought it because you liked/loved it. That's always a great reason!! The needlepoint is definitely a fitting piece for that chair.
I have never been so inspired to get out all my pieces and start using them in unique ways! You two are my favorite inspiration for a reason and this showcases it perfectly!❤️
I haven’t watched yet but I am so over the top excited!😱You both are my top 2 very favorite TH-camrs EVER, and you are working together..I can’t wait, Rachel and Sherry!! I KNOW this is going to be good.
Love the newly covered chair pad.....BUT would never have done all the cutting, etc. while on your newly acquired used couch....the floor would've been better and less chance of a slip with the scissors or staplegun and we use the same polish BUT would definitely put a drop cloth under those legs while polishing with your light colored carpet underneath❤
Good afternoon, Miss Cathy! For a more in-depth loo at how the pelmet was made and attached here's our video wit the full tutorial:th-cam.com/video/cxhf54uE1TY/w-d-xo.html. Enjoy and happy pelmet making!
Was watching Canterbury Cottage, she said watch your video. Very nice, Subscribed and hit the 🔔. The chair you redid, I thought, that harp looks familiar. Sure enough I have one setting in my office, but it was painted black, with thin gray, blue, white lines in the cushion material. I saw it in a Barn Antique Craft place. Loved the Harp and had to have. All your projects were so beautiful . Thank you 🌻
Lovely ideas! And I noticed you saved ALL the needlepoint when you trimmed the extra fabric from the bottom of the seat. Excellent! Might be used in the future fir another project. ❣️
Good afternoon, Ms. Rachel! So excited to see your creative fabric ideas! How wonderful that you have collaborated with my other favorite channel, Sherry's "Canterbury Cottage." ❤, Bobbie. xo.

I love what you did with the chair. I made a pelmet with large foam board. I used blue and white toile fabric. It lasted a few years before I took it down
Great job on all of the projects. I especially loved the idea of following the scallops when making the rod pocket on those cafe curtains. Just subscribed. 😸
Welcome to the Stone Cottage Home family, Miss Sally! We are thrilled to have you here! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for stopping by and have a great evening!
I’ve enjoyed doing crewel, embroidery, cross-stitch, and hand quilting for over 50 years. I even have my grandmother’s embroidery. I’m hoping to frame some one day. Wonderful video, Sarah. One cross stitch project is on a child’s sweatshirt that I did in 1991. It continues to be passed from one grandchild to the next. Two more kiddos to go, and then I’ll definitely find a way to use it in my home.
A hand-embroidered pair of pillow cases with crocheted trim were a wedding gift 50 years ago. Although the fabric is disintegrating, the edge is still OK. Thank you for the idea of using them to trim aprons.
The needlepoint is wonderful. Obviously the person doing it ran out of yarn or something happened and it didn’t get stretched. Hope that cutting it won’t let the needlepoint unravel. It is beautiful!!!
Good afternoon ,Mrs. Rachel. I love vintage linens and dollies. They are so beautiful and I wonder who made them and how they intended to use them. Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful ideas with us. Some them I would like to try for our home.
