I like the fact that you are fearless in decorating with the things you love --so many homes are stark and just plain boring. This home has character and charm and so cozy!
Never apologize for fallen leafs in the garden! They are super helpful. They may give a home to insects and over time break down and fertilize the soil again. Mother Nature knows what she's doing :) What a beautiful, cozy home you have! ♡
Your home is so cozy and charming. I want to just sit in that family room and read a good book with a cup of tea. And all your gorgeous windows from the family room and your serene bedroom just take my breath away! I can so imagine living there. Its pure comfort and a sanctuary for the soul. Thank you so much for sharing.
Your home, your taste in decor is above all the other channels...it's normal, everyday...if I may...it's do-able...more than designer pieces or store bought furnishings and items...there's a connection, a story...any homemaker that's how, that's what we do, it shows in a house...it can be felt in the rooms of a home. No matter how we've gathered the items, through family, friends, antiques, thrift shopping...I've even stopped my car to check out what someone had kicked to the curb...refurbished it and waa-laa it's a treasure. I do buy new here and there, but my space and budget is very tight. I myself have always brought in clippings from the yard into my rooms. Thanks for sharing your home it's so warm. God bless (by the way the other channels are nice too, I seek pinches of what their taste is..sometimes I'll copy it into my space) byeeeeee for now
Absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing your home and garden with all of us. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a few of your ideas I need to steal for my own home! 😊
Your home is so lovely in its spring attire. I adore the sweet vase with the faux greenery and how you embrace items you love in spite of a flaw or wee crack. These items to me are imperfectly perfect! Anyone visiting you would feel right at home in your comfy cozy rooms. Wishing I lived nearby! I believe the tiny white flowering branches in your blue and white vase are from a spirea bush. My grandma had them in front of her porch, they are an early spring flowering bush like forsythia. Mine grow along the fence. We have had two bad ice storms here in Michigan that have taken down some of our huge catalpa and maple trees....and decimated my gorgeous big lilac tree. Praying we can save them come spring. The weather is crazy all over that's for sure. Blessings to you and your family. Looking forward to your next video. ♥️
No sure about the maple and catalpa, but I am willing to bet the lilac survives. I don't think they can be killed! I suspect the mystery plant is spirea, just a very early blooming one. Thanks for your comment and continual support..
How very pleasing your home is! I love your voice and the pace of your video. Thank you so much for sharing. I'm a new subscriber. Love and blessings from Texas - Patti
I LOVE everything about your video. Your voice is so soothing & you sweetly give us so much info about your plants, accesories, furniture. I liked peeking outside lol. Very peaceful & lovely home. ❤
What a beautiful video! I love how interesting your home is. And clearly everything is very carefully chosen and cherished. Thankyou for sharing your beautiful home. Best wishes from England!
My forsythia seldom blooms. I must need more fertilizer or compost or something for it! Your house has no sign of children! I love how you decorate, and I hope you never lose inspiration for making your home beautiful. Tartan Topiary did a book review about Mackenzie-Childs. I loved your rabbits on the table in the tray! How precious and just the right touch. I have a pillow I would send to you if you had a USPO.
The children are settled in New Jersey now, so the house is sadly quiet. Hope to get up there soon to help my daughter decorate. Then I can share what we do!
@@stonecottageadventures304 Play loud happy music. You will see them often and it is a great time to celebrate spring with a happy home. I was told once to play music loudly and dance at least to one song a day!
You home is so incredibly charming and cozy, nothing like candles and flowers to add that layer of beauty and warmth to all the rooms! ❤ So glad I found your channel!
Your home is so beautiful and interesting, unlike so many boring everything the same color homes. The layout of the house was fantastic! Even the yard looked interesting. Your decorating was gorgeous and a part of you. Ann❤❤
Love, love, love your home with all its windows and charm. So well decorated and maintained. Never thought about cutting hellebores to bring inside but I definitely will today! Love greenery, plants and flowers in my home especially in the winter. My three amaryllis are finishing blooming and they have been so uplifting to see. Your daffodils are just beautiful-wish I had some in our yard. I think your white flowering branches are spirea. Years ago, we used to see them blooming alongside quince - so lovely. Just subscribed and looking ahead to future segments. Thank you for sharing!
Cute little cottage, perfect for two. I love 1 story living…..you may have 2 stories and if so, that’s fine because you have everything you need on the main floor, don’t you?! 😊 Your decor is very homey and charming. I see you’re a maximalist like me. I tried hard to edit my decor during COVID but all that did was free up space that I ended up refilling in with thrift store (2nd Avenue) must have finds. LOL - oh well!! Thanks for sharing. Happy Spring. Enjoy. 🌸
First time viewer. I really enjoyed your spring house tour. It brought back memories of all the things to enjoy about spring. You truly have an English country cottage. It was such a delight to watch this. Thank you for sharing your home.
Thank you so much. I will be heading to your neck of the woods in the next few weeks to help my daughter settle into their home in New Jersey. I will let folks know if we discover any fun shopping spots.
That twig you are forcing looks almost like Flowering Almond to me but it’s almost too small to even tell. I’m curious because I’ve never tried forcing that before. In all of the spring home tour I couldn’t seem to get passed why we have never been serenaded on that gorgeous piano. Maybe one day, yes? Hoping all is going well with the family cohabitating together. Thanks for sharing your spring with us because we are buried under snow yet here in Michigan!!!:):):)
The twig comes off a tiny bush that was probably mowed down when the previous owner's estate was cleaned out. It gets bigger each year, so maybe it will turn into a tree someday! In some of my early videos I actually am playing the piano. My daughter's family is settled into a home in New Jersey, that's why I can do videos again!
