    Absolutely LOVED testing the new P1000 pedals by Simagic, it is amazing what these pedals can do. The functions and customisations are nearly endless.....Priced in-between Fanatec Clubsport V3's and Heusinkveld Sprints these should not be overlooked!

    Upgrading to the newest version of simhub adds the shakers to the shak-it motors section and you will have full control of any pedal effects you want. Also adding the yellow spring to the throttle gives the throttle a nice feel.

      You have to turn off Sim Pro (Simagic software) for the motors, then Simhub should control them.

    On the light bars, you can get them both to work but a) you need the two M5 ~16mm+ bolts that do not come with the heel light bar but only the stock heel rest (or get them from the store as I did), b) you now need a male to female 1/8" jack extension cable of about 12" to reach the connection, c) you cannot mount the stand alone light bar under the pedals anymore, except if you probably make your own cable, otherwise you have to mount it on the top of pedals angled toward your wall (because that was the bottom previously!), and finally d) there is now a cover over what is now the top and what was the bottom of the pedals (at least if you buy the inverted set; if you buy the regular then the inverted kit, I don't know if they include what is basically a dust cover now because the electronics that are hidden under the pedals are now exposed upwards), and because the connection for that light bar is right up against the edge, the cover not only covers the connection, it makes it that you need to basically dremel a semi circle into the plate to reach the connection as opposed to just a hole to run the cable through; additionally, the magnets are also blocked so you need another way of mounting it like velcro.
    HTH. I think I'm one of the first to have to deal with this on these pedals. In summary, both work, but both require modification or buying a few small parts.
    Also, Race Beyond Matter discussed this drop off issue in his review of these pedals and recently made a video dedicated to this subject

    • @TheSimCircuit
      @TheSimCircuit  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wow this is very detailed comment, I love it 😂 yes I’m sure allot of capable people can make them light bars work when pedals are inverted but trust me I can make huge balls of the most simplistic diy task so I won’t be trying 😂
      Race Beyond Matter 100% described the brake drop off much better than I ever could actually be interested in playing around with springs after watching his video 🤔 I don’t mind a bit of drop off as most pedals have a bit. I am not nearly fast enough for a slight fall in brake pressure to affect my times but a big drop like what I have with my set of p1000 I think will affect most sim racers 🤷🏼‍♂️

For instance I’m wondering if we can install just the shakers on the Asetek invicta pedals and use simagic software for shakers and asetek for pedals? Too be honest, the issue is not only with these pedals, but with all pedals that use elastomers icw a loadcell. Rubber relaxes under pressure after the initially resist This is why the input drops from 10% without changing the amount of pressure. Chepilevski pointed out that even other brands acknowledged the problem. His video is titled: "The HIDDEN problem you should know about Sim Pedals". So to be fair, it isn't a Siagic problem. In fact, they are the only one that use a loadcell and angle sensor.

      @@MrMikap74 yes he made a great video explaining it better than I could. My problem is not the that there is drop off, like I said it is very normal to have that drop off because of the elastomers. My problem with the p1000 is the amount of drop off. Most pedals do not have a drop off of more than 10% the p1000 actually like 25%. I bought the hydraulics for the p1000 because I actually Love the them besides for this issue. @@ni7ehey matey. You will see in my next video, SiMagic sent me out new circuit boards. They say the very first batch of p1000 were affected so this won’t be issue going forward. The brakes are now at about 5% & that’s more than acceptable for myself anyway 👍🏻

    Fanatec V3's have had small vibration motors on them for years.

    • @TheSimCircuit
      @TheSimCircuit  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes I know. I used to have the v3 for years and they have a little motor but the motor only works when u push down a certain distance. The fanatec motors does not give you game data like Abs or Traction control. The shakers on the p1000 completely different & a big step up compared to the v3’s.

    The p1000 haptics are nothing like transducers in respect too how they work. I had transducers on my pedals but with transducers you have to use a sound card that sound card adds delay but the haptic Simagic have made do not use a sound card they take the telemetry from the game directly meaning the delay is one to one with the ABS and TC lights on the car. When I did a slow mo video the simagic haptics react the moment the ABS/TC lights blink in game but my Transducers on the other hand had over 350ms of delay thats what makes these much much better.
    The haptics on pedals like the conspit and Fanatec only use rumble motors like you find in Any Xbox or PlayStation controller so nothing like these.
    What simagic have accomplished is outstanding in regards to their haptics.

      It is game changing 100%. I know I am faster using the p1000’s it cannot be explained properly the difference between seeing a light on a dash to actually feeling it through your pedals until you tried your self.
      Now with the hydraulics fitted I am extremely happy with my p1000’s 😀

      @@Dani_Jarithe reason your Moza pedals don’t have the same problem is because they use a loadcell and an angle sensor on the brake pedal. They interpolate a brake value based on the combination of both.

      Yes the drop off is from the elastomers however in my experience with pedal the drop is much more on p1000 than any other pedal I have tried. Few people said they don’t have this problem on their p1000 so could possibly be just a few units 🤷🏼‍♂️
      Ps I did end up buying the hydraulics for the brakes they arrive tomorrow & I can’t wait to use the p1000 again 😊

    You don't have to buy the hydraulic cylinder. In the software change your brake from "Load Cell" to "Angle". You can keep 100 percent just fine, no
    "bleed out" been using these pedals for almost a month, prefer them over my Fanatec CS V3s.

    • @TheSimCircuit
      @TheSimCircuit  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I know you can run on angle sensor but then you could just buy pedals that cost allot less. With the loadcell you should be able to create muscle memory of how hard to push that is much more difficult using an angle sensor. Besides for maybe a DD wheel base I would say loadcel pedals are the biggest upgrade you can make to your rig to get faster in the sim (that’s if the loadcel works as it should).
      The P1000 is excellent pedals, I went and bought the P-HYS hydraulic system and I can assure you I would not have spent more of my own money on these pedals if I did not think it’s worth doing so 👊🏻👍🏻

    Using the hall sensor solves the drop off.

    • @TheSimCircuit
      @TheSimCircuit  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      100% yes but then you could get pedals for a much better price & loadcel will make you faster over a period of time because of muscle memory when applying pressure, personally I would not pay this type of money to be using a hall censor on the brake pedal 🤷🏼‍♂️
