Awesome video! BTW you can easily code CS steering software settings on to Base G80 (did it on mine) and you'll get most of the CS magic. As a bonus you can also code CSL suspension, mdm and diff settings to make it even more raw ;)
@@mihnea297 Yes, this one tuned already but for an extra $40-50k. As far as the warranty, I don't think this type of coding voids it as it's not an ECU flash but a simple ESYS settings change (kind of like side market delete or auto folding mirrors) that reverts back to factory settings after every OTA.
@@OzDrives Oh OK, I thought you were talking about an ECU flash, like BootMod3. For the G80, you have to send the ECU abroad, get it unlocked, and then tune the car. It does give you 20% more power, but it will void your warranty, unfortunately. What did you use to make those changes on your base G80? Bimmercode?
Thanks for the review, and for confirming my impression. I drove the CS back to back with the Comp on track recently. The CS is noticeably sharper overall and more lively at the rear. It sounds great, and feels lighter than it really is. A very accomplished M3, IMHO.
I will say your comparison review on the CS is the best ive seen!👍 However, I think there’s just too much missing from the CS for the premium price you gotta pay to get one. 👎 No center armrest No park assist cameras No rear A/C No adaptive cruise No sunroof option A cheaper priced Xdrive comp can be had with all those options the CS doesn’t have AND you can get the CS steering and CS transmission software upgrade added plus a tune and you’ve got a better optioned similar performing car for less money. CS is a collectors car, nothing more.
I appreciate the sentiment. I do agree that its one of those, "get more from less" situations. This is the car for M lovers that care more about performance than value.
I'm still wondering if it's really worth it over a fully specced M3 Competition. Depreciation is probably the same considering you'll be paying way less for the Comp which is still a strong value holder with strong demand in it's own right. A lack of an armrest is really putting me off the CS as much as I like it especially with those golden rims. I think I'll order the M3 Competition. Great video btw.

Thanks for the feedback. Also might have to ask you more about those adjustments 😄

@@OzDrives Yes, but you just voided your warranty. This one, it's already tuned and you can keep your warranty (!)

I’ve only ever seen the G80 M3 CS in signal green and I thought it was the ugliest color ever. This one is absolutely stunning
Personally, I like greens but signal green is more a Porsche color.
M3CS beautiful car thanks for this video

Great video! There have got to be pretty few cars that have this level of performance and are so daily driveable
Anything CS from BMW is pretty special.

Well maybe not. But if you consider resale is def is.
The color is nice!
Great video. What color is this?
It’s a black metallic. Beautiful in person.

I have an m3CS Frozen White CCB. I pretty happy and I think it’s the best sedan you can buy… after the M5 CS 😢
At MSRP it’s a hard proposition to beat. However I dont love the CS grill they use on that trim. I think they could have made it better looking.
Your face just says it all. Thanks.
I do have an expressive face 😆
My dumb ass wondering why he was comparing it to the genesis g80 at first 😭
