Love mine! I was a grill hater as well couple years ago when it came out, but in person & as a owner it definitely has a mean persona.

10:06 The BMW 4 series is the real offender with its grill design, the g80 grill fits the look of the car.

I love this spec. I was able to order a 2023 M3 comp xDrive and the dealer offered me a CS allocation. I just didn't think the price hike was justified. They do tweak the transmission, suspension, and steering via software on the CS. Signal green looks amazing.

Wow, I never knew that the CS was AWD. I genuinely thought they’d keep it at RWD. Very cool.
Not to be that guy, but X-Drive is nothing like AWD. Speaking from experience, it’s about an 80/20% bias in favor of the rears.

Pretty sure newer X-Drive lets you adjust power bias (and switch off AWD completely).
@@michaeltian sure does. Guess I showed my cars age, still rocking iDrive 7 so I don’t have that option.

I've noticed in several of your G8X platform drives, you haven't been able to engage launch control on any of these cars and are only really brake-boosting. To activate launch control, you need to fully have DSC turned off. (Not just M-Dynamic Mode, which still is a form of traction control) DSC FULLY off, Shiftlogic 3 manual shifting mode, and then full brake, full gas, and once the checkered flag appears you let off the brake. The car will shift for you, even though you're in manual mode. This is exactly the same setup with the previous generation F80 platform as well.

that launch looks violent as hell lol. even compared to an EV because you have the 4 wheels spinning and the 1-2 shift
it is VERY violent. I'm glad that translated through on camera, haha.
Green is a great color for an M3
One heck of a car for sure but I don’t know if green with red accents and yellow lights goes together. Reminds me of Christmas 🎄 or a traffic signal light lol

How is the regular M3 as a daily driver for longer 2 hour + drives? Looking at the M340i, M3 and Audi RS5 for a performance daily.

I recently got my license, and my mom had a 2012 Chevy traverse. I only drove it for a couple of days and when I first took it up on the highway I blew the motor up (oil starvation) but other then that the 3.6 V6 is a beast
You could totally cop one of these once you reach Throttle House numbers

Hi! Possibly. We had a manual car a couple months ago, so if they decide to run one on winter tires there's a strong chance we'll get it later this year.

Hmm, I wonder if restarting iDrive would fix the Apple CarPlay issue? My wife's 330i had that issue on several occasions, and restarting iDrive fixed it every time.
Tried restarting iDrive, and my phone, to no avail :(
I'm a current F82 owner, G80 is going to be next for me.
If I had to buy a G80 refresh car, it would be the M3. The overall body lines of the M4 are very bland and meh to me and IMO the M3 looks much more muscular and nice. I don't hate the front bumper as much as I used to but it's still not my favorite.
This car is a bit weird to me- why delete the armrest but retain heated seats and even a full blown harman kardon sound system? Seems like the M division was confused about what this car is supposed to be. The CS should be allowed to be a stripped down hardcore vehicle. It doesn't make sense to delete such relatively random creature comforts but retain others that would make a bigger difference. Still an amazing car, but seems a bit of an identity crisis.
Obviously this generation of M3 is a more than capable car and I'm sure this drives amazingly well but I wish they did more. Other than as a collector's item seems more worth it to just buy an M3 comp.
I actually think the beaver teeth grill looks good on the sedan. The 4 series however…. Yeah. That’s a whole lot of nope.

Educated guess: No. Just look at the tires alone. Those are basically rubber bands. The short sidewalls will make the ride rougher.

That’s a very good point. It’s called corruption + misappropriation of funds lol
US has harsh freeze and thaw cycles repeatedly in the North, and in the South taxes are not high enough to properly fund road maintenance. Of course there are other issues too. It’s an easy thing to cut funding for.
