Does the slice feature work the same on all Cricut machines? I have an Explore Air 2, and can't seem to get the slice feature to show up.

Yes the design software is exactly the same for every machine. you are not getting the slice to work because you have to select just two items. if its text make sure you have welded it

so I don't usually use design space to thicken fonts. I do it in inkscape.

under align. you need to select your text and at the top of the screen where it says align.

Make sure your word is welded. Also people have been having this issue with the new update. Save your project and close design space and then reopen.
