Honestly after playing this game as many times as I have and doing as many speed runs as I have, this game is just a fun game where I know what to expect and I’m calm about it, except for when I play madhouse or play the dlc

They were too busy commentating on nothing to pay attention to the rules. I wanted to scream at every video. I'm having 'Nam flashbacks watching this.
@@DrPonk I watched that "complete" series that goes through all bosses and all cards in this minigame, and I damn near had a stroke. Whoever was playing never seemed to grasp that simple fact. Sure, he could use his trump cards in the "right" spots for the main bosses powers (the counter trump card to their powers), but he never could count the damn cards and often would end up playing an extra 3-4 rounds on each opponent because of either not raising winning hands, or misplaying hands until they were lost. I nearly screamed out loud after he threw away a perfect 21 to "go for 27" for absolutely no reason at all, with the opponent showing like 3.
It's not robbing technically, it's just psychological manipulation combined with statistical advantage... So yeah pretty much robbing you. Though I would actually recommend researching the sh*t casinos do to make a stable consistent profit despite being a luck based game(they don't cheat behind the scenes, everything they show is all there is to it, because they can get away with not lying and still make a consistent profit(except for slot machines, no idea how those work, and they could easily be rigged)), and the weird methods used to trick you into having a gambling addiction. It's dickish, and hurts everyone who has to waltz through a casino, and certain casinos are usually placed on the ground floors of important places to make it hard to not waltz through a casino, but it's also fascinating. Everything in a casino has a purpose, and the entire building, even roof height, is designed to keep you wanting to play more. They have strict guidelines for the employees too, for that very reason. Casinos are social engineering used to its maximum capability. Also statistical advantage; each game is designed to barely favor the house, and even the money cap is there to protect the casino's money. Roulette table is the easiest one by far, the green slots are there simply so that the chances of you winning are 48% instead of 50, which means the casino has a 52% chance of winning. that 2% seems insignificant, but as any statistician can tell you, the more you roll, the closer you'll get the average to project the probability. So that measly 2% alone is the reason casinos can gain money consistently through a roulette, yet it seems insignificant to the person, because of how close to 50% it is. That's also why you aren't allowed to bet on any group larger than blacks or reds, because if you could, you'd gain the statistical advantage and actually earn money.

Dude, Clancy was such a unit and in my opinion stronger than Ethan. Clancy got tortured by everybody for DAYS, he even had to fight Jack and an onslaught of the toughest molded for 6 hours straight along with playing blackjack and winning minimum 25 hands in a row. If it wasn’t for Lucas outsmarting him in the end, I think he could’ve gotten out because he wasn’t being controlled or infected by Eveline and was definitely more than capable of finding a exit.

I've played through the Bedroom DLC so many times that I memorized every little thing about it and everything I need to do to escape. Still, as I'm watching this, I can feel the same tension I did every time I played. And as for 21.. well, that one takes the cake. To think I would get addicted to a deadly game of blackjack. But I certainly did. The Clancy DLCs always were my favorites.

Clancy actually only needs to win 11 times in order to beat the card game. Because the bet for both players goes up by 1 automatically each round.
