Yeah sometimes parchment will start sticking & I like release paper because when diamond painting the squares we make (I sometimes cut my bought release paper in half to keep my hand or forearm from sticking to the glue surface of the diamond painting
That extra paper will come in handy I think, you know the release paper does bend and get creases so, once you’ve turned it over a few times you want new and your way it won’t get boring and if it’s too long you can cut it!
Hey Joan , you can print both sides . You can make cover paper while your printing out your labels . Just turn the labels over and print the cover paper designs you want .
Hi Joan thank you for sharing , I always wanted design release paper and now I can make my own and the designs I want. Just found your Chanel and happy I came across it . I look forward to seeing your other videos 😊
That’s great if it works because it’s a lot more expensive to buy your own one sided release paper well now waxed can’t be it, it may release but that’s usually more like baking sheets
Hi Joan. I worked a job where we went through tons of labels and just threw away the empty sheet when we used all the stickers. One day I put mine in a pile and at the end of the day asked if I could take them home. They looked at me funny but said yes since we were just throwing them away. I cut them into sections and used them as release papers because as you said, the stickers released from it.
Great use of sticker sheets. I've been using the covers I saved from double sided adhesive diamond paintings. I haven't done a DSA diamond painting in a while but I still have tons of sheets left.
Like I said, and I know I’m a chatterbox but you’ve just saved a lot of people some money now that the market has printed cover paper for painting then hey I like the idea !!
This is a very nice idea to do it at home. I like the longer one, like the lemon, for the 30x30 paintings. But the sections would be too big for me, so perhaps I would cut the lemon ones in two. 🐱
I’d leave the white border on. And if you’re worried about the laser ink scratching off, maybe you can cold laminate the printed side. It’d definitely make the cover sheet thicker and less pliable, though. I always look forward to your new uploads. 😊 Happy diamond painting!
You need a paper cutter or some way of measuring- hopefully you will be able to see it through your backlight which helps to keep you from making mistakes, I don’t see why you couldn’t make matching cover/release papers
Good morning Linda, great idea for backing paper. I have an ink jet printer. HP5000. My late sister bought the printer after she got mad at the Canon printer and smashed the printer on the floor. Have a wonderful day.

This was so much fun! Very creative! 😊🌻🌼🌷🧁🧁🧁
Glad you enjoyed!
FINALLY, I knew someone was going to figure this out. Thank you so much for sharing. Just ordered to the release papers and more ink ❤❤❤❤
I hope you enjoy making your own release papers!
Joan you always have the smartest hacks. Love it.
Thank you!

If I didn't have the 250 sheets of the slick paper, I would probably try to save as much of my label paper as I could.

This is so awesome! You think of everything! I hope I get a chance to try this, lol! Thanks Joan. You're so amazing!
Thank you!
I like the sunflowers a lot 😊

You just saved me a whole boatload of money. Thank you!

This is a great idea and I love the upcycling of the back of label paper into something pretty!
I'm just happy it worked. I was afraid the ink wouldn't stay.
What a great idea! Thank you for showing this!
You're welcome!
Oh, I really like this idea!
Your inquiring mind just keeps me going!!!! Love it.
Thank you!
You just helped a lot of people!

Hi Joan another great video. I love the idea of doing release paper, I will be trying it. Thank you ❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed!
I love the cupcake 🧁 one have a wonderful day 😊
Thank you!

I like to work in bigger sections.

So far the images have been staying on pretty well. I figure if the ink is starting to scratch off, it will be time to replace the sheets.

Very nice. I loved the fruit the best. I was hoping you would do the rocks. Have a great week.
I did end up printing the rocks off camera.
Leave it by all means it helps give you a border to measure where diamonds are underneath
Oh my! You are very creative! What a great idea! ❤😊
Thank you!
If you cut them to fit the diamond area you won’t have to worry about paper in the middle of the diamond area itself

@@JoanDiamondPaints thank you
Awesome! Nice job ⚾️
Thanks!
Cut them to your own choice and well I do it like I said to keep skin from sticking
Thanks for sharing! Love that kind of videos 👍
Glad you enjoyed!
Check the fruit behind the backlight
Hi it's me again , I would love a set of the flower papers . They are really pretty . I am like you , I would perfer the longer cover sheets .
Than you!
Can you make a video of how you find the images on pixabay?
How would you go about cutting them into even sections?
Love this! Maybe you could have a giveaway at some point and gift some cover papers since you have 250 sheets 😂 greetings from another Washitonian 🎉
I like this idea.
Maybe. It probably wouldn't cost too much in postage either since it would be flat
@@JoanDiamondPaints Depending on the size and number of sheets it could be sent just like a notecard.
What kind of label paper do you use? I use avery and they have writing on the back of theirs
I wonder if this would work with an inkjet printer given the texture of the paper. Not too sure
I'm not too sure it would work on an inkjet either which is why I stated that I used a color laser printer.
Where did you find your images? I love this idea.
All the images are from pixabay.
Why don’t you use your channel logo for your cover paper
I probably could. That would require me making it into a pattern. I'll have to look if there is a free pattern maker online.

"This is legal sized paper" didn't know there is also illegal sized paper then O.o
I think it is called legal size since is used for legal documents.
@@JoanDiamondPaints that would make sense. But illegal sized paper is still fun to imagine😆 like "that paper is an inch to long you criminal scum!" 😂
Don’t cover the legend maybe?
