Beautiful reaction! So now you've experienced the studio & live versions of this song. This is one of the few songs, where the studio version matches the live version. Most Queen songs, you take their studio version (which is great) and they have an even better live version. I still recommend checking out Somebody to Love LIVE from Montreal, 1981. You'll be blown away.

I personally prefer any Queen live performance over the studio version. They put on an amazing live show, every time. Just my opinion.

@@jaidenobrien I agree. It's just that with Bohemian Rhapsody, the studio recording has a very uniquely recorded mix worth listening to. Most other songs with Queen, I would say "just do the live version".

Freddie was working on three different songs when he had the genius inspiration to combine them into this epic masterpiece. He never offered any explanation about what the song meant, but likened it to poetry saying the meaning is up to the reader. The beginning section, when you're seeing just their heads, is actually just Freddie harmonizing with himself on multiple tracks.

Bohemian Rhapsody was written, in 1975, by the late Freddie Mercury (lead singer, pianist), the falsetto was provided by Roger Taylor (drums), the bass player John Deacon (white suit), the guitar solos is by Brian May PhD (the guitarist with the striped shirt, playing a guitar he and his father made out of an old table top.)

This was back when you had to have REAL TALENT and auto tune didn’t exist. It’s extremely hard to get behind most current artists at least those that came up in the last 25 to 30 years because most if not all use auto tune and/or lip-synch their music. At least you know that if it was released back in the 60s, 70s, 80s, and early 90s the artists had real talent. It seems as if now a days it’s all about image of the artists that first gets them in the door before anyone thinks about if they have any talent. I miss the time when I could trust that who and what I was hearing was real and not fake. I think milli Vanilli was the first time it became so obvious that the music industry was lying to us. Other examples are Ali Simpson, C+C Music Factory’s song “Gonna Make You Sweat(Everybody Dance Now)” showed a thin woman in videos & on stage lip-syncing when it was Martha Wash doing the singing. They replaced her due to not liking her image since she was overweight, it’s extremely sad especially considering how talented she was. Needless to say personally I feel that there are only a handful of today’s artists that you can trust are truly talented and not just having their vocals auto tuned. I miss the music of the good old days when you could trust what you were hearing.

He had a bigger jawbone and extra teeth that gave him the better range of notes. You definitely need to watch them at the Live Aid Concert to see the control that he has over the audience. Google Mr. Ca Calloway, he was the original rock star from the 30s -80s and Elvis and Prince have nothing on him. Stormy Weather is a great movie that you have to watch and Cab Calloway and the Nicholas Brothers put together the best dance performance ever filmed in it said Fred Astaire... That was the video that was put together in 1975 for £500, to play on "Top of the Pops". It was perhaps the first music video and it was all done in analogue (I would imagine they used top end video magnetic tapes) - no digital processing and so on. The music company didn't think it would do well because ... it was too long. Was number 1 for 10 weeks in the UK and was number 1 for X'mas 1975.

Freddie never really said the true meaning publicly, but I believe someone close to him said that he was referring to himself when he said he had just killed a man... meaning that he was never going to be Farrokh Bulsara (the person he was before) but would forever be Freddie Mercury. He was a brilliant artist with an incredible voice, but he had a lot of internal battles.
