Brake Valve Rebuild: Case 1070

In this video, it’s time to rebuild the brake valve! Since we had the tractor split apart, we decided that we go ahead and rebuild this. The brakes weren’t all that great. Can we them better? Well wait and see. We had to go looking for some more O-rings as Elmers Repair did not include that in the kit, which wasn’t a big deal. I got the brake valve mounted back in. And the tractor is ready to go back together with the 2 halves.

Ive rebuilt the one in my 1175 probably 4x throughout the years and it only lasts about a year then leaks again. Not the easiest job taking it out and reinstalling it
