Good to see you back. I think the people who watch your channel love the detailed technical side of things without all the influencer clickbait crap. This series seems to be exactly the type of content why I and many are subscribed and want to see! Looking forward to it, two episodes a week would be perfect, since one episode a week equals to something like 5 months total.
Exactly, I’m also tired of channels going the easy route, mimicking each others’ clickbait titles, thumbnails and then content. There’s the window of success in that for a while but it gets old real fast.
@@RobertMitchellRobert, I speak for myself but I believe many people will mirror my perspective on things: please don’t stop being who you are, we love your honesty and the exact way you are, please don’t change anything. An absolute dream build of mine. The drivetrain, colour, seats, even the wheels - I wouldn't change a thing. I especially like the clear glass windows and exceptionally well thought out and finished interior - something that really ticks my perfection box.
Nothing on TH-cam excites me more than a Robert Mitchell video. Thank you so much, Robert. I'm not in a position to do what you're able to do, so to see you do it, allows me to experience the magic around cars, driving them, building them and having fun! 🙏

I didn’t do the carbon roof on the car so I figured I better lose some weight :-) glad to have you on the channel and anything you can think of don’t hesitate to let us know. We’d like to integrate it into the videos.
Absolutely sick build! I’m a crazy e46 m3 fan, spent hundreds of hours reaserching and building mine in the look for the perfect car! I’ll be at the ring with my M3 in about 2 weeks, I’d love to see this live 😍
Man i love your philosophy! I am really excited for the E46 videos and i'd love to see the E36 and especially the "Clubsport" approach. I have driven many very well built track cars that were just over the top. They were exciting to drive, but only when you drove them on 10/10s. The rest of the time they were just rough and exhausting. I love the idea of a great driving, but still civilized car. It having regular TÜV is even more impressive. Thats an "art" many lost over the time by chasing higher and higher (or in case of lap-times lower) numbers instead of enjoyment. The looks are an extension of this way of thinking. Everything seems to be too extreme and over the top nowadays, while details and quality are often overlooked. It is so refreshing to see someone go the extra mile in that department. Subtle modifications, but meaningfull and with a good focus on quality. I think the Singer comparison is a good one, since they started in a similar manner. I cant wait to see the whole series and would love to see two videos per week, but i know how much work goes into that if done correctly and dont want you to stress out like so many other channels. Maybe a set schedule isn't even needed. When it's fitting (two videos on one component for example) you can fire them in quick succession and take yout time for longer ones. I am just glad about every video you put out and i cen perfectly live with "it's done when it's done". Thank you and your team for taking us with you on this great project-jouneys!

Track prepped/Club sport cars built cleanly with no detail overlooked is definitely the kind of content I love most and what I love to drive and see most. Love the progress with this e46!
Exited for the episodes to come! Sure sounds like fun to take the time and effort to make it perfect for what you want. Will you be running an aftermarket abs system in the car? And are you going into detail on how to get all the systems working together? Idea for the E36(or just my dream): go with a Ferrari 360 V8, just enough power, lighter engine, no weight over the front axle and a hell of a noise at 9000rpm. Would maybe also make for a different drive than the E46?
So awesome to see you back and hear all these updates and see the snippets of what’s to come. I’m super hyped. I’d say once a week is a great output of the videos. The E36 build next sounds amazing! 😮 And like Misha commented I would loooooove to see the trip across the street and do some flat floor and invisible aero trickery to optimize the car while maintaining those classy lines!
BUILD SUGGESTION!! BMW 1M with the S65 engine and manual transmission. Yes it’s been done before but not in your way of a track prepped bottoms up build. Imagine an E92 M3 but 300 pounds lighter. The balance of the car is amazing and the chassis is stiffer than E46 and older M’s.
