Nope. Watercolours would not work on plastic. You may use acrylic paints instead.

Can you pls tell me that should I buy Artist 12shades 5ml ones or Artist 12 shades 20ml ones?
Hi Jaya, if you are a beginner and this is the first time that you are using the Camel Artist colors, I would suggest that you buy the 5ml box. This would allow you to play around with the colors to determine if you like them. You can keep adding individual 20ml tubes as per your requirements since these are available loose. Hope this helps :)

Tubes have better pigment content so I would recommend those over cakes.

@@dipalisinghi718 Don't buy very expensive brushes as a beginner. There are so many synthetic variety available now which imitates natural brushes. A good watercolor brush should be able to hold lot of water and should be able to maintain a good point at its tip. Hope this is helpful. I will definitely do a more detail video soon. @@dipalisinghi718 I am a beginner and I'm very bad with normal brushes, so, I use water brush pens and they seem to be quite useful.. the only thing is they a bit expensive but they r really nice. I recommend buying the small and medium sizes. Hope it helps😇
As a student, the student's watercolour tubes which are of 5ml gets over quickly, as we need to mix the colours to form new shades,

Hi Sophia, After watching this video I purchased all the Camlin Artist water colours. 18shades, and 12 shades - both cakes and tubes. I prefer the 18shades because of the Orange. The 12 shade set that I got did not have the orange. It is fun to paint the India flag with that orange colour. (psst.... I'm still a beginner and haven't tried colour mixing yet. :))

If you would have mixed red with little yellow you would get Orange. Orange is my favourite colour .
Camel still has artist watercolour tubes which are of most probably made of aluminium

Dear Sophia Mam, I hv a confusion. Actually , I wanna ask which water colours are the best : camel artist 24 watercolour tubes, brustro artist water colours or brustro gouche colours .Among these three , which one should I buy ?
Also, do camel artist 24 water colour tubes works' fade with time or do the paintings retain their originality even after longer period of time ?

Hi, gouache and watercolour are different although they resemble each other in the fact that both are water soluble. If you want to start with watercolours then I would recommend going for Camel Artist set. If you want to try gouache then you can try any of the nevskaya Palitra gouache which I feel are better than Brustro.

Mam can we mix students colour with water to increase their amount
Yakash Goyal sure you can add water till it reaches the transparency you desire. But the more water you add, the less pigment will settle on paper. So you need to keep a balance as per the requirement of the painting. Hope I was able to answer your question.

Yakash Goyal preferable to use watercolour paper which is atleast 200gsm or higher. Otherwise the paper would buckle. You can use handmade paper designed for watercolours (cheaper option) or try Brustro watercolour sheets (more expensive option) to begin with.
Spellbound by the clarity. Please do videos on bullet journaling and on use of brush pens

Go for the artist grade colours if you are serious about learning watercolours. If you want to try for fun and enjoy spunky colors, then get students grade.

Can I use artist watercolour in plastic??
Hi, I am not sure I understand your question. If you mean whether artist watercolours may be applied on plastic surface?… then the answer is no. You could try acrylic paints for that.

Actually watercolors and gouache differ in pigment size which makes their properties slightly different from each other.

Ek me chalky effect hai dusre me nhi hai. Student grade se banayi gyi painting ek time ke baad fade hone lagta hai, to ye display ke liye accha nahi hoga. Par artist grade se banayi paintings bahut zyada samay tak permanent rehta hai. To isse banaya gya paintings aap display kar sakte hai walls pe laga sakte hai 😊
