I get it gadget1473, y was in an mc for 10 years retired in good standing. At 67 I support the mc’s, can’t do the drama I see with the internet, LEO, and it just isn’t the same as it was in 1979 when I joined.

Guys for what it's worth, I switched the lower horsepower Dyna to a BDL belt drive last year, and I LOVE IT !
137/143 at the wheel and on top a 30 shot of Nitrous.
No more compensator, no more fluid, lock up clutch that does NOT slip, lighter, quieter, and of course no tensioner either. I was skeptical, but now I'm a believer.
Yes, mid controls, inside the stock primary, modded for cooling air for the belt. It was under $1,000 and worth every penny. I'll be adding the same to the other 2, track only Dyna's as soon as possible.
I thought about Trents clutch and I can't see replacing this anytime soon. Customer service is 100 percent and I don't get anything from B.D.L.

Lynn, check out my comment on the B.D.L. belt primary. I couldn't be happier. I eliminated a half dozen problem areas and maintenance issues, and trust me, I drag race this Dyna regularly. The lock up clutch is INSANE.
