Great video! I learred so much, "Get your edges right". I purchased a weasel and it's worked great so far (I've put some seed down in some small spots). I plan on aerating and overseeding late this week. Thanks for everying!
I feel ya. I work for the DOD and I do more work around the house on Saturday then I do all week at work. Best job I've ever had.

I've though before that I needed to do a power rake and aeration. If my plan was to make 5-10 passes with the aerator, would power raking be necessary/waste of time?

Pete I have a question I get my RGS and humic acid from you so on and so forth I am overseating my yard which I have taken down to bare dirt can I put the RGS on fresh seated lawn that has not germinated yet Will that help the seeds any or do I need to wait till I get germination??

Yeah Pete good luck, I am waiting a bit myself......although getting nervous about how late in the season it is getting with no end to the 90's in sight. Seeded a small section over Labor Day weekend just to see and it burned up to dust already even with water/irrigation 5x daily lol. I think it is time for NCSU to revise their recommendation of reseeding early Sep..... just ain't happening in Eastern NC anymore.

Would a mantis work well to bust up that hard patch of dirt after you aerated, or will it make the dirt too fine and possibly get hard after it rains? Thanks...love your content. Nothing better than watching someone who is passionate about what the good Lord blessed them to do.

How do you keep seed from growing in beds? It’s hard to get seed up to edge without throwing it in.
