I owe the epicness of my Pink Floyd journey to my parents, especially my dad. The Wall is just the most amazing album. Being someone so has schizophrenic, this album just hits different. It hits the heart and mind in so many ways. Man when I first heard this song it blew my mind. It’s a banger then and it’s a banger now. This album is just top tier. There isn’t a song on this album that sucks. Thank you Pink Floyd for changing our lives! 🤘🏻

Both part 1 and 2 are equal for me. I relate so deeply to everything said in both songs that I cannot pick a favorite.

When this movie came out, I went and saw it at least 10 times at the theater, by myself. I had recently lost my father to cancer, and with my depression, Pink Floyd was my music.

My Dad has flown across the great divide last year. This hits me hard now.
The freaking guitar in part 1 makes me want to melt. Part 2 is like an adrenaline rush, and it stands as my favorite. Part 3 is a very short, but powerful sequence that expresses emotions of an independent being. And I love every single bit of these.

I have a Cultured European female friend who grooves to classical music and has an engineering mind. She does not only not appreciate rock, she ranks on it for its simplicity and noise emitted by the speakers. Yes with all her culture and smarts, fails to recognize the art value expressed by so many talented musicians. I have tried to reason with her but, to no avail at nearly fifty, she will never change.

Thank God for "Another Brick in the Wall Part II" ! Its what got me into Pink Floyd and what's even better I moved forward with Pink Floyd and now I move backwards to pre "The Wall" albums and I'm blown away ! Love these guys !

Younger I thought the words "we don't need thought controls" were exaggerated. They are not. Schools are brainwashing camps that destroy the gifted and select the most compliants and mediocre...
This album put lyrics on my anger and revolt. I was not alone any more. It is thanks to it that I was able to transcend all my anger into energy and not go crazy!!!!
