    I’m playing this in high school and this is a great reference recording from an inspiring euphonium player, it’s so great to hear from legends.

    I played this 40 years ago as a Junior in High School. Didn't realize how difficult it was at the time. It was a lot of fun.

    would you say this piece was harder than arpeggione?

      That's a good question! The Arpeggione is harder musically, and it is difficult to play the technique within it with the right style and grace. The Ritter George is easier musically, by quite a lot. It is not too hard technically, except for the very extended triple-tongue passages with no good place to take a breath.
