ASUS P5N-D doesn't support DDR3 according to the ASUS website, only dual channel DDR2-800. Nevertheless it still could be a good build, unless buying an LGA 1366 mobo that doesn't get scared from overclocking, a Xeon X5650, DDR3 ram and the rest is somehow cheaper.
I got an old LGA775 computer for £25 recently. I did the Xeon mod, and got an X5640 in there, overclocked to 3.8 Ghz. Upped the RAM to 8GB, and shoehorned in a GTX 970. Bit of overkill, but it all runs well. Playing modern stuff on it! :)
After all, CS:GO likes having 6gb of ram to run properly, 4gb is not much better than 2gb of ram to run it but a little surprised that it even ran CS:GO.
I built my first gaming computer off that board! Back in 2008, an e8400, 4gb of ram, 500gb WD black, and a geforce 9800gt. I still remember the final price with the case and monitor, $1255.33 lol
64-bit version of Windows 7 needs 2GB ram for itself really, games got no chance with what they've got left over, add at least another 2GB stick, then try the same games again.Or better yet, get another 3 2GB sticks, then compare the difference between 2GB/4GB/6GB and 8GB DDR2 RAM XD
Dude, i love your channel, subscribed today.....i'm an IT professional (Data analysis and System admin...nothing interesting) all the way from North East India, i have several PCs: one for gaming (as high end as i can afford) and some for portable and retro gaming...i love your channel, i started with an AMD k6 processor and a graphics card i cant remember, good times..
I definitely prefer the longer video format. Keep them coming! Good job. Next, you should review some era-appropriate games on it, and see how well it performed at the time of its release.
Still have an old 775 PC sitting next to my i5 rocking a Q9550 ($25.00 on ebay), 8gb DDR2 ram, and a GTX 950 2gb on Win7-64. Still a decent PC, core 2 Quads/775 are legend.
The 2gigs of ram is killing it :/
Yeah, I think the overlay said the PC was using 6-ish% of its CPU power in Mafia... :/
My pc has 2gb ram...
I could max out Mafia at 1600x1200... With a Ti4200, so this card can max out it at 1080p for sure. Anyways, for this comp I'd just stick with WinXP.

I said hot water, not bitching-boiling hot.
When I cleaned all my mining gpus, I rinsed all the heatsinks under really hot water, then I used a datavac blower to dry it, works well!
Just remove the fan first 😂😂.. no matter how hot your water is, it wouldn't be a problem
lol 😂
your content tends to have a dramatic increase in quality over time for you, you should take advantage of that and continue with videos like this :)
6:38 WHY IS THAT SO STUTTERY MY EYES 😂
Holy crap! I've followed you for a while and just realised you're on 219k subs now?! Very deserved!
You can tell this guy is posh; Not only does his wheelie bin has a binbag in it, but said binbag also has a peg to keep it in place!! : O
The power of observation -- hats off to you , Sherlock . Seriously .
@@abhroy Can't tell if you're being serious or not; So I'm just gonna assume you're not.

@@smogstreaming . NO . I swear Man . I was serious . By God , I truly & sincerely wrote that . HONEST .
@@abhroy You're so kind. :' D
I’m still using a $2000 prebuilt gaming computer from 2015 and it’s still really good all beit with some upgrades :3
I bought a pc from my friend for 100€ id say its a good deal
Specs: Gtx 1050
Intel i5 2400
8gb ram ddr3
250gb hdd
Decent 1080p low setting rig
@@sharathvasudev yep, but i can play csgo max graphics 1080p 100+ fps and skyrim 60fps max. It's not a low setting pc.

I was referring to latest games. But yes for slightly older games it's pretty good
@WIZARD RAPIER Special edition
You crack on lad. I enjoy your videos and have learned from you. Thanks mate.
The original mafia
That’s how mafia works
Back in a day, this pc would be a killer and a dream of any gamer
As long as you upload quality content like this, we don't care if your uploads are less frequent. Quality over quantity, always remember!
The anodizing on the aluminum heatsinks looks great
Put in a Core2 Quad extreme, 8 GB of DDR2, Gtx 750ti and maybe an ssd and there you have a budget gaming PC
Also bump up the FSB to +1600MHz w fast RAM
DDR3 is better
ASUS P5N-D doesn't support DDR3 according to the ASUS website, only dual channel DDR2-800. Nevertheless it still could be a good build, unless buying an LGA 1366 mobo that doesn't get scared from overclocking, a Xeon X5650, DDR3 ram and the rest is somehow cheaper.
Yeah it would probably run a good amount of Esports titles.
exactly i was thinking lol
I got an old LGA775 computer for £25 recently. I did the Xeon mod, and got an X5640 in there, overclocked to 3.8 Ghz. Upped the RAM to 8GB, and shoehorned in a GTX 970. Bit of overkill, but it all runs well. Playing modern stuff on it! :)
Crysis plays better than CS:GO? Wait what!!
Naaah, csgo has better compatabilty than crysis
Crysis ultra setting is more demanding than cs go crysis low is like gta vc graphics
You actually need a good CPU to play CSGO whereas Crysis uses more GPU
After all, CS:GO likes having 6gb of ram to run properly, 4gb is not much better than 2gb of ram to run it but a little surprised that it even ran CS:GO.
I love the longer videos. I don't watch cable or free to air TV, only TH-cam, so I do like the TV show episode length.
Never install 64bit version of Windows when you have 2gigs or ram...
My first desktop double 256M RAM, 40G Hard drive, MX440! a shift from win98 to fantastic WIN XP!
Did anypne noticed "ASS" in te corner at 4:28
I built my first gaming computer off that board!
*cough* Use a modded version of it that is lighter *cough*
I don't regret being subscribed for 3 years or so
Loll!! Diawa... Dump it and walk away!!!
There is something so satisfying about cleaning old pc's from dust...
Make ur videos 9:59 long ... not 10 or more 😂
Dude, i love your channel, subscribed today.....i'm an IT professional (Data analysis and System admin...nothing interesting) all the way from North East India, i have several PCs: one for gaming (as high end as i can afford) and some for portable and retro gaming...i love your channel, i started with an AMD k6 processor and a graphics card i cant remember, good times..
