I remember playing this in my grade nine schoold band, and we went on a trip to other schools, and performed this as our last song as a band, and we got an encore! So, we played frozen a secon time 😊 the kids loved it! I wish I saved the recordings the shaperone sent us, I feel like we were advanced and very good by the end of 3 years playing together... and our teacher was great! He loved his job, you could tell. I believe he only worked one more year after us before retirement.
Playing this on the 6th I'm so scared cause i play in battery and we are way overpowered plus there are little players for the melodies and stuff so imagine that
I feel like the melody on "Let It Go" should have been played by a french horn…then again this is only a grade two piece, so who remembers the horns anyway… >.>
It's a flexible arrangement, the point is that no one instrument has the melody. But you are correct easier band music is specifically designed to avoid exposing instruments like horn, oboe, bassoon, etc.
