I agree! My band (high school) is Performing this tomorrow, and I’ve been practicing in it the part of the song do you want to build a snowman for ours I love it
My band was supposed to play this for our final concert but half of the band couldn’t play their part, to this day my heart is still broken because we didn’t play this 💔
I'm playing this on the oboe and love every single part of this arrangement (especially 'Do you want to build a snowman' !). I prefer this version a lot more over Sean O'Loughlin's arrangement. The transitions are great and it sounds soo much better!! Go clarinet !
This arrangement is absolutely beautiful. I played it with my band last Christmas, I was lucky enough, as a euphonist, before the world collapsed. Seems like a life ago! I remember, when the clarinet started, during "Do you wanna build a snowman", I had literal goosebumbs.
YES! This is awesome! I wish we were playing this in band. I play oboe and I would love to play this piece . Especially since there is an oboe solo. GO OBOE!
Played this way back when in high school as a clarinet. 1:30 always carried so much energy with it even if our sound balance was way too heavy on the brass haha.
Yes! FInally found it! We're playing this in my school band and it is awesome. We rehearse in the mornings, so I have "Do you want to build a Snowman?" stuck in my head almost all day. And I have to say, I don't mind... :)
Kathleen M That's awesome! I'm a principal second, so I don't get the tune that often but I still love it! Doing the chordal work makes me happy because I get to lay back and listen to the music! Have fun with the solo~ I so jealous :P
We don't have that system in Denmark. You barely have musiclessons in school :) So you attend musicschool after your regular school.. But I think I'm on my 14th or 15th year of playing clarinet :)
My band, Rhode Island Wind Ensemble, played this exact arrangement in February 2019. I was on timpani. Ironicallyically enough, as of posting this comment my TH-cam profile photo is me minutes before that concert began!
Mlle Bonjour Rylee Maxwell not to be rude or anything..but there should be no such thing as competition/contest for the best bands. Never think of it as one. You should have fun, and enjoy it while it lasts cause you might never have that opportunity rather than focus on being better than others. Also don't brag about your accomplishments, rewards like that should be kept to yourself. No one needs to know. :) Oh and keep your opinions to yourself, it may be easy to you but some people might find it hard to play. Thanks!
We had a middle school band play as a guest during our concert. So we played this piece for them. A bunch of the middle school kids went: "This movie's for babies!" Whereas the people my age went: "Oooh, Frozen! Awesome!"
+Luis Gonzalez Yup. It is. Part of it was probably due to the idea of not blowing your chops before half the song is over. I think the flutes were playing that originally, which is why it required a transposition down an octave. [just in those few measures]
Nah I just went and looked at that song and it’s a dang grade 1. That might be cool for middle schoolers but this sounds like it’s straight from a real movie
It s not weak it has better instrumentino solo i reviewed the 3 most famous arrangements and they use like playing band 4 or 5 instruments playing the same.... this sounds more like orchestrated than in band because it has a lot of instrumentino solo.. that makes this work better in terms of colors of sound
The Clarinet at do you want to build a snowman is precious.
that a oboe
@@xpalartv4062 it's a clarinet, we performed this song 2 weeks ago and lemme tell you I know it by heart
I agree! My band (high school) is

My band was supposed to play this for our final concert but half of the band couldn’t play their part, to this day my heart is still broken because we didn’t play this 💔
This is literally the first time I’ve ever seen a clarinet solo thank you Stephen bulla
I'm playing this on the oboe and love every single part of this arrangement (especially 'Do you want to build a snowman' !). I prefer this version a lot more over Sean O'Loughlin's arrangement. The transitions are great and it sounds soo much better!! Go clarinet !
Robin Wydaeghe AYE OBOE BUDDYYYY
When clarinet is too mainstream
I also play oboe YAY
Yeah it has better instrumentino solo!!!
Feels more refreshed and its easier to pitch when are instrument playing the part and not 4 5 or 6 playing the same
This sounds so much better than the other versions!!
This arrangement is absolutely beautiful.
I played it with my band last Christmas, I was lucky enough, as a euphonist, before the world collapsed.
Seems like a life ago!
I remember, when the clarinet started, during "Do you wanna build a snowman", I had literal goosebumbs.
Played this freshman year, on the tuba. If every song had a bass part written as well as this, our world would be a happy place indeed.
I absolutely love this!!
I remember playing this as an extra piece after a Christmas concert years ago. Still sounds great!

I love the clarinet solo for do you want to build a snowman
Yes! FInally found it! We're playing this in my school band and it is awesome. We rehearse in the mornings, so I have "Do you want to build a Snowman?" stuck in my head almost all day. And I have to say, I don't mind... :)
My school is playing this too...I'm a clarinet player, so I get the epic Do You Wanna Build A Snowman? solo :-)
Kathleen M Its the best right? :D I love that solo! I actually enjoy most of the 1st clarinets parts!
Kathleen M That's awesome! I'm a principal second, so I don't get the tune that often but I still love it! Doing the chordal work makes me happy because I get to lay back and listen to the music! Have fun with the solo~ I so jealous :P
Rikke Togeskov Panha Ramsung Although I'm a first clarinet, I'm only a freshman...one of the seniors will probably get the solo
We don't have that system in Denmark. You barely have musiclessons in school :) So you attend musicschool after your regular school.. But I think I'm on my 14th or 15th year of playing clarinet :)
Bulla just did a workshop of this at our school for our concert band, it is so beautiful. The guy is brilliant
Played this at the weekend as part of a film themed concert, can't get it out of my head. One day I'm sure I'll see the film.
My band, Rhode Island Wind Ensemble, played this exact arrangement in February 2019. I was on timpani.
Ironicallyically enough, as of posting this comment my TH-cam profile photo is me minutes before that concert began!
just received this today as 3rd chair trumpet, love it. was the only one to hit that high B near the end in my entire section
This is the best arrangements!!!
I'm obsessed! Just practiced the alto part for 2 hours- I would've gone farther, but my lips were going to fall off...
Conductor must have stuck rags in the trombones on this recording 😂
Never look at the trombones. it only encourages them! as a conductor, I can confirm!
Played this for Christmas!!
My elder sister performed this song and she was the conductor of this song!😉
Baritone part is soooooo much fun on here
+Andrew P YES A FELLOW BARITONER
yass
Great oboe solo GO OBOE!
Going to play this with my orchestra this evening, looking forward to practice this!
Oké.... 😂

Me and my harmony(we are 79 from 14 to 16 years old) we will play this in april 2015 when we will make a concert at WaltDisney:D
See you there. My band is gonna leave you in the dust. Level 5 Music and Gustav Holst. Level 3 Frozen... ain't got nothin on us
Mlle Bonjour Rylee Maxwell not to be rude or anything..but there should be no such thing as competition/contest for the best bands. Never think of it as one. Rylee Maxwell my band is doing level 6 pieces...we got gold with distinction last year in a majors competition...see us there good luck:)
had chills the whole time
This is honestly my favorite arrangement of Frozen yet! Nice work! (Alto 1 here) :)
We had a middle school band play as a guest during our concert. So we played this piece for them.
A bunch of the middle school kids went: "This movie's for babies!"
Whereas the people my age went: "Oooh, Frozen! Awesome!"
Thank you so much for uploading! I love playing along with it and it has helped me improve :) thank you :D
0:00 til 0:45 omg...
My only part in this was the wood block solo for Do You Want To Build a Snowman
Cody Kiedrowski bro me too

First flute, plus the one player part in let it go. Last year as concert flute, gotta make it count.
Who is a sax player here?
I play Bari Sax, Tenor Sax, Trumpet, and Clarinet (Clarinet is my main-Im 1st chair honor band Clarinetist).
Papa Puffin Me!
Alto 😁

BARI SAXES IN THE HOUSE!!!!
So, Symphonic Highlights from Frozen II when?
Amazing beginning!
I play this on trumpet and its so beautiful play this song

Sax is altijd perfect ;)
Floris Hubregtse Dat klopt inderdaad 😉
Go Bari Sax, this fun than i even imagined
I’m confused. Is the first line flute or the second one flutes?
The first line is piccolo
Second is Flute 1 and 2 combined
A CLARINET SOLO OMG YASSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!
Go horns!! ✌
But the brass band version is much more better
adhara99 HORNS FOR THE WIN!!!!!!
YAY FOR HORNS!!
adhara99 yo at 2:00 was that a lower octive than on the music sheet?
No, it's written just like they played... not high
+Luis Gonzalez Yup. It is. Part of it was probably due to the idea of not blowing your chops before half the song is over. I think the flutes were playing that originally, which is why it required a transposition down an octave. [just in those few measures]
Clarinets all the way❤️
Cool arrangement however no markings for re-tunings on timpani makes for one angry me.
Mallet Percussion ;)
Starts at 0:08
clarinett and Saxophon💪
Playing this for my Christmas concert. It slaps
Not as good as Santa the Barbarian but this is a close second
No way
Nah I just went and looked at that song and it’s a dang grade 1. That might be cool for middle schoolers but this sounds like it’s straight from a real movie
@@PokesandStrosabsolutely not, that song is not movie material
where are brass instrumemt ?
I'm a bit disappointed that it doesn't include the musical saws in frozen heart
Let it Go all the band! = forte
Magical
Someone needs to arrange this for brass band!!!
They have! :)
this doesn't have the songs in order of appearance in the movie!!
4:24 149~
alto sax master race
I got the spooks when I listened to this lol
I hear my clarinets 😂😊
savannah Eyler for the first time in forever u can hear the clarinets
I play the drums in this :D
How can i get this score?
Fabian Candanedo You can buy it.. There is info in the description..
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDD GREAT ARRANGER! I LIKEEE!!
The Middle school version is better and has cooler parts in odd sections.
If it's the version I'm thinking of, then it also doesn't have any dynamic contrasts. Very dull it was, young padawan.
lastcrazyhorn I know that, plus the balance is way off between Instruments.
Dominick Neville
You just contradicted yourself....
Thos version sounds more like orchestrated than band because it can feel better the instrumentino solo!!
Doing this for band , I'm playing flute 2
1st Flute 😞
Bass Clarinet All the way!
This guy did the oboes wrong, so much potential to be a really fun part for them.
What grade is this???
4
3:42
where I can get the individual scores for the various instruments please help me find
go trumpets!!!!
CLARINET THE BEST💙
I ply a saxophone
Played this at elementary ._.
トロンボーンでやりました^^
Trombone gang
I'm first trumpet
Not as good as Santa the Barbarian
the band is not good but this arrangiament is very tasty
This arrangement is so weak compared to others
Which arrangement would you recommend then?
Josh Horan Highlights from Frozen arr. Sean O'Loughlin
+Georgienumba2 What do you mean by weak?
It s not weak it has better instrumentino solo i reviewed the 3 most famous arrangements and they use like playing band 4 or 5 instruments playing the same.... this sounds more like orchestrated than in band because it has a lot of instrumentino solo.. that makes this work better in terms of colors of sound
In my opinion, this is simply one of the worst arrangements. I would recommend the concert band version by Sean O'Loughlin if I had to.
