When Frozen first came out, I was in grade 3, which was basically the group of kids that were the most obsessed with Frozen. Now that I'm in grade 8, listening to this song brings me so many memories. I miss those fun childhood times...
Same
Honestly I miss the good old days sometimes. Looking forward to Frozen 2 tho
you’re not old enough to feel nostalgic
-boomer
I was also in third grade, and after hearing so many times, I’ve always hated those memories. But I’m glad that you can enjoys them. EXCITED FOR FROZEN 2 tho
Same
the flute part for first time in forever is insane
Wishes In Life omg lucky I'm not playing it in a song we have to go one octave above high high c
Ikr If I played this I would be dead.
Right like oh my gosh my band is practicing this for our Disney world trip and when we got to that part I wanted to just give up
I feel you
Unfortunately for me, I have to play it :(
Band director: “What should we play for our Christmas concert?”
Kid: “FROZEN!”
Olivia Petrowski lol this happened to me and my band
I'm actually really looking forward to playing this piece. I get to play it with a semi professional band
Hearing it being played and actually playing, has a different feel to it.
I know right lol
It must be said
definitely
For sure but it's good to practice with
True, like it sounds so different in my band class
My band did it for our last concert. I had so much fun playing this. When I got home, I practiced on my flute the song multiple times. When my niece gets home and hears it, she runs to my room to listen. She's only 2 years old.
At the concert ,we saw band directors crying. All of us wondered why. The next day he told us the he was retiring this year. All of us cried. They have been with us for 30 years and they have been the best band directors that anyone can ever have.
I'm in symphony band this year
Well that escalated quickly.
I play the flute to and our band is playing this for this year's spring concert
well mine's the opposite actually.
i play the flute and many of my age are leaving our school band cause it's our last year this year and we gotta graduate from band early to focus on our national examinations. we're having our last short performance next week thursday, and it's goodbye after that. listening to this reminded me of the performance we did on this piece a few years back with our previous band conductor. the memories just can't be forgotten.
Same
Playing the 1st French Horn Part was absolutely beautiful!
For the first time in forever
The French Horns do something cool
Hey in marching band horns have cool counter melody
Well now you know how tuba feels for essentially every piece
Edit: but I still love the tuba anyways😝
@@Amoslzf I play tuba and it's the same 3 notes the entire song
trombones do something unusually exiting, and we're more important so just let it go
dont be mad pls fights have been started at my school over this 😅
As one of two altos playing with a French horn in this song was actually so cool
0:06 Vuelie
1:00 Do you want to build a snowman
2:22 For the first time in forever
3:40 Let it go
4:52 Epilogue
Thx
Thanks
Nice duck profile picture
If i had a nickel for everyone who said that their band played this... I shudder to think of all that money
U would have about $7.50
Haily Bui Yay, im rich!
Yasseen Semlali our band played this!
Yasseen Semlali lol
Lamborghini here I come
honestly playing this at the elementary tour in my 6th grade year a while back made me so happy. watching their faces light up as they realized what we were playing was just so amazing. i love band🙏🩷
1ST TROMBONE PART WAS LIT ASF!!! loved having the melody in my favorite song, let it go.
Jesus Christ I have first trombone too!! I’m enjoying it, we are learning this song rn for our movie themed concert. All of our different band classes are playing music from movies :)
We played this in my middle school, and now, as a high school senior, I’m playing the symphonic version, and let me tell you, the symphonic version is so much better
Cant believe we playing this for our winter concert :-D
This arrangement is not as simple as I expected. Usually arrangements for band have an easy version and the real version. The chords are there, and there isn't much compromise on the rhythm/syncopation. Well Done. I was a flute player for 8 years before I went to college and ended up taking piano. I am no where near the skill level that I thought I would be for piano, but it takes time to adapt and relearn new instrument techniques. Luckily, there is no transposition difference. This arrangement uses common note modulation a lot which would is smart for younger kids. Figure this is middle school level.
Omg we're playing this in band!!!
Ariana’s Sweeties same ..
So beautiful
If your director wants to play this and you play french horn...run.
Brianna Cottongim facts 😂
Lol it’s not hard
It is hard but it is so much fun
It is hard and it isnt. If you play it a little slow in the beginning then you'll be fine. But if you're like my band director and on the first day you get it they decide to play above tempo then your screwed
this would be fun to play. that's why ima recommend it for our may concert
Our band is playing this music piece!!
Our band is going to Branson in the summer and this is what we're playing
vuelie is just so nostalgic
Last year when this was handed our everybody lost their sh*. When we went and played for the Elementary kids all the girls lost their sh*t when they announced this was our song
+Jay Hatcher Same! (except it was everyone not just the girls) Our director announced it by haveing someone hold up an Olaf doll behind him and the kids loved it.
haha i made it 69 likes
@@jumsh1811 thanks jesus
we will play this on last week on nov 2019 together with aladdin!!
I have never heard an arrangement where the French horns have such a major role.
Look up Winter Dances.
ummm ever heard of idk Star Wars ?
Listen to any of john Williams music.
Divjot Walia I think there Ego needs a break anyways
Divjot Walia
I don’t know one where trumpets have a minor role, but I know two where they at least don’t have a major role.
One’s called Legend of the Alhambra
and the other’s name I forgot -_-
We played this in our 6th grade band! It's fun to play! I'm a bone o' da band! Awesome!
We got to play this for our Spring Concert last week.
This is honestly my feel good song - like srsly, whenever I want to feel grounded to something, I search "frozen band" and listen to this. Also like if u play flute
I play bells and vibes on this song in concert band and I LOVE IT! The first time we played this, I didn't see the guys get temple blocks out, so at 2:01, I lost my shit and had the biggest smile on my face. It was fantastic.
When I was in beginning band, the grade (band) above me played this song and I still remember it! Sadly, for whatever reason, my middle school decided to delete every recording from my three years, so I can't go back and listen :'D but oh well...
It amazes me how much this actually resembles the actual music from the movie. And it's for like a high school intermediate band. I expected this to be a more advanced piece!!! Good job, Sean O'Loughlin!!!
As much as I couldn't stand the movie, this arrangement is amazing! Played it like three times on percussion it is so fun!
We played this for our 7th grade band concert! Yay cario actually sounds like this band! Ahh I love the band life.
i love the beginning. it is by far my favorite rhythm
Kyle Kilburn same
Same the beginning is so cool!
my daughter is playing this music in her school band right now- she plays flute in it:) she says that this music sounds just like the music that they are plating in band right now
Absolutely beautiful
It's totally awesome and I loved it, especially the flute part... melts my heart =)
My Band just got it today! It's soooo hard but totally worth it at the end. When you have mastered it it will sound so beautiful. Trust me. trumpet guy
We have to learn this in less than a month but BROO its worth it!!!!!
It's arrangements like this that make me miss band.
I loved playing this on the French Horn :D
My band at school played this at Christmas and it was so good!!!
If people are saying _Frozen_ is the worst of animation and the worst of Disney Studios, then we are probably in a good place. Especially when looking at actual trash like _The Nut Job_, _Norm of the North_, and the horrors of Video Brinquedo.
+Mr. Fedora This is so true... Dreamworks shouldn't even try. The trailers they showed before Zootopia were so cringe worthy.
_How to Train Your Dragon_ is a masterpiece of a movie series, and the _Kung Fu Panda_ films are also good. Dreamworks should make more stuff like that. Thankfully, _Zootopia_ ended up a pretty good product when all was said and done.
Yes I liked How To Train Your Dragon. Kung Fu Panda was not my favorite. Zootopia was amazing and I'm really excited for Moana!
Disney has a new renaissance, and Dreamworks now has a magnum opus.
+Mr. Fedora Zootopia was Disney
We're doing this is band!!! So psyched!!
I'm so happy that my band is playing this!
lol we played this at our concert yesterday. Everyone watching went crazy oh my god
We played this in summer band camp. It was so fun
We're doing this for our winter concert it's my favorite piece
Talk with junior about my senior and I miss my senior sight reading this solo (although it is soli but only she can play it) I hope cher let us sight read this!!!!!! I will try my best to play this!!!! With the other two flute friends😊 Fighting💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🍀
We got the music for this today in my band class. Our director gave it to us as a fun and easy piece after UIL and almost everyone loves it. The baritone is a little too easy for my liking after you get past some rhythms but it's definitely fun to learn.
I play clarinet and my school band is playing this for our spring concert
中学生の頃吹きました!懐かしい、、
Our band is playing this!
We played this in our orchestra and I had a solo(I'm flute)
It was my first concert with this orchestra so it was really amazing for me that I was allowed to play a solo😍
This was such a fun song to play last year in grade 10, especially as a trumpet 2 and cheering on my trumpet 1 buddy to hit those high notes 😂 such good memories that come out of this piece
Props to Sean O'Loughlin, Major props.
OMG WE'RE PLAYING THIS AS OUR LAST SENIOR SONG IN BAND :'D
Omg we gotta do this for our Christmas concert!
My school band played this at central park on May 10th.
We’re playing this! I love it!

Omg, I played this piece in my winter concert when I was in eight grade last year
I literally love playing this in class
First chair bass clarinet
As a first year french horn switching from trombone this has been my worst nightmare trying to play this.
Not a good idea.

We did this for our Christmas concert! It's not my favorite arrangement of the songs, but it was still super fun to play.
We're going to play this as our combined piece for the Varsity and Advanced bands.
My school is playing this :) we just got it today
My band is playing this and it sounds so cool (:
ooooo my band is playing this
they really skipped love is an open door didn’t they
I don't think Anna wanted to be reminded of that lmaoo
Everyone seems to skip that
I LOVE the transition at 3:40
Sense I am part if a band and have been for about 3 years. I really love this piece of music. And for all you haters for band music saying that we don't put in any effort we actually do. In my expierence this is one of the most hardest pieces I have had to play. No one is perfect and yes they do make mistakes. I wonder who could just pick up this song, haven't heard the songs or watched the movie, sit there and play it like they have practiced day an night one this song.
Most hardest..?
adding a kit was one of the best choices the arranger of frozen could've made
Me: Wait French Horn is important-
Band Director: Always have been
Me: _Then why don't we have any?_
I’m the bass drum part for this song and it feels epic when I play let it go
Ew, bass drum
Nice 🎺 🎶 🎷 🥁 🎶
This is so cute omg! # remembering gr.8 material
