The statue IS an NPC. He is guargantua and is the floor gurardian of the 4th floor. He is the strongest in Nazarick aside from Rubedo. Becuase the Caloric Stone can be used as a golem's core, in a weapin or armour, or to make a request to the developers, Guargantua might be made of the caloric stone. Although, Albedo might because she's the strongest.
Emerald X gargantua was a golem which the guild received as a bonus from the devs.even though it is floor guardian it cannot think on its own like others.

I believe Touch Me did have the Exoskeleton racial ability, but he would also wear armor (giving him double defense) because he managed to exploit a bug in the game to do so. It's mostly thanks to that exploit that he won the World Champion class and armor. The devs later on patched the bug, making it impossible for new players to exploit it, but Touch Me still maintained that little armor stacking ability as a pre-existing exception.

I got to admit I really like this series and how Overlord has such a large variety of creatures and personalities. Even the most minor of creatures has a given spotlight to show itself and what they can do. I can't wait till a season 4 comes out.
There are so many characters in Nazarick that I wish had a backstory. (the backstory that they themselves remember, not the backstory from actually just only being created in a game) I'd love to hear The Bartenders backstory and so many others, like the penguin and so forth. Maybe even the Worst Fives aswell.
Man I only watch the anime since I like the series. But man the Light Novel is totally different. It was so dark and detailed that I even question myself for loving this series. Especially when the scene of Arche's twin younger sisters, where they are waiting for her and talks about living together with her naively.

"The Worst Appearance" is giving me a big feeling similar to The Thing. Using humans and animals as hosts and morphing their biology while keeping them alive to a malformed version of themselves. At first i was trying to think of what "The Worst Appearance" could possibly be, but i'm now understanding it creates everyone's Worst Appearance that it gets its mutated hands on.
Pretty sure Imina's and Hekkaren's minds broke within the bare minimum of the first or second occurrence of their torture. So don't expect them to even register what is happening to them. When it comes to internal trauma ripping open the stomach is the absolute worst pain that could kill you just from the shock alone.
I think even the insanity is a luxury wich they don't have, if you remember the despeir aura of Ainz also can debuff you with that, and in a game a debuff can be hellead, so in conclusion, the death and the insanity are a luxury that those who invade Nazarick don't have... Maruyama need a psycologist.
I really enjoy these videos ^^ one series of videos I'd find interesting is how someone would go about successfully invading Nazarick. Maybe detailing each step the invaders would need to take and preparations they'd need.
I love your description of the workers that invaded Nazarick maybe it just means he actually just has a terrible personality, as in unlikable, because no matter how evil Demiurge is, he's still likable, this guy could just be a person with a terrible translation.
At the 11 minute mark, you offer the idea that Hilma sold out the other 8 Fingers' members to be tortured as she was. In the anime, I think she pleaded with the guardians that deposited her to the cell of her fellow inmates. I think Maré or Aura allowed Hilma to convince her fellow conscripts to heal like she did or face it & join her tortured servitude.

He found out that even if he changed the priests memories of their god to a compleatly different probably made up god, he was still able to use holy magic in that new gods name.

That is the weakness of the story. There is no competition for them at all, everyone else is stupid weak relative to them, there is no challenge at all, which makes sneaking around and plotting pretty pointless. The other weakness is that you would expect a lot of infighting and intrigue going on within the guild, and there is none. Lastly, Ainz himself is pretty cluesless about what is going on, based on his inner voice narrative. His stated objective is to find other PCs, particularly other PCs who were his old guild members, but there is no sign of any of them, or any evidence that he is actually looking. Instead he just wanders around randomly while his minions do what they think is his bidding. His main challenge seems to be hiding that fact. So it is all very pointless.

Hi AniNews if you ever read this: Would you consider doing a power scaling video so we can a see a side by side power/level comparison? I only ask because unlike the countless others that post Overlord manga and character TH-cam videos you are one of the few that gives stats. However, what does that mean when we don't know the level for say, an average human? An average monster or demon (that exist outside and is NOT part of Ainz's guild)? The average knight? The average adventure? Etc... That way when you do a video or just mention how Sebas single-handedly destroyed the strongest members of the crime syndicate in the kingdom in seconds... How Shalltear with her pinky-finger stopped Brian's most powerful move-someone who is the second strongest/greatest warrior in the kingdom (as well as being one of the strongest known humans in that entire world according to Clementine )... How Cocytus could just stand there when the lizard-men brothers used both magical and physical attacks against him. You get the point a power/level comparison not between guild member but between them and the various people they fight in the new world outside of The Great Tomb. Yes we know they are all OverPowered but how much? How big is the Gap? I ask you because while most would just give a number you have shown yourself to be eloquent enough to help the viewer see this difference in simple yet clear terms with analogies.
If it’s like DND for summoner, they have more powerful summons and they generally have a longer duration for a summon spell. Like an example of this is summon nature’s ally, where that only last x amount of rounds depending on what your modifier and level is. With summoner instead they last minutes and it takes less time to do these summons, as well as swap some prepared spells for a summon spell

The way I interpret it is their actions to completely random people who are helpless to their will, positive Karma individuals will help them, negative karma individuals? Well demiurge created a human farm
The chac-mool is in a certain way a divine altar for sacrifices which recieved the hearts of warriors and prisoners alike, the statues themselves depicted persons on a trance state of mind due to the substances used on the ceremony, so the npc being a wacky, trippy and over the top sacrificial headmaster would be fitting.
Nothing wrong with being sponsored but I’ll wxplain about how real bdo is with the bad side. It’s extreemly microtransacting, Korean (which means its heavy influences on grinding mechanics above everything else), and a literally an rng end game that sometimes even throws you behind more often than ahead in the gambling system trying to upgrade your gear, with no level cap (no seriously) you literally won’t ever be able to catch up with people in a pvp based game that gambled for years to get where they are. Not only can you not compete you will be kicked out of high level grinding area to attempt to catch up. It’s such a bad system lol! Not to mention the in game store is priced 20$ per outfit.. and each outfit gives you stats for professions that is almost required to do. It’s... yeah.. pay to win.. even with a new item that is used to try to stop the gambling system of the gear grind sold on the store! Almost like they want you to buy it because the chance of actually doing it normally will take years to get a full set (if you can sense random!). It’s a great game with content but I would strongly advise this warning or others off youtube before even buying to know what you’re into. Look for angry peon videos of 2018. He will explain everything good and bad.

Just the thought of being eaten alive from the inside by cockroaches terrifies me. It reminds me of an old B-horror film I watched as a kid a long time ago "They nest". In that movie a new species of carnivores cockroaches eat people in the exact same way. It also gave me a very realistic perspective of what that kind of torture must look like from an outsiders perspective. And it's horrific. It makes me lose my appetite just thinking about it.
Might be too late to say this, but isn't Arche alive? Maruyama gave in when he was requested by fans to change Arche's destiny. I believe she's currently staying at the 6th floor of the Tomb, living with her sisters. She was Shaltear's... "Love" slave on Chapter 7's additional chapter. Later on, Ainz gave her the option to be happy after serving Shaltear, which is to say spend the rest of her life in the 6th floor with the druids and other residents.

Chacmol who has worst personality and has connection with sacrifice. I came up with an idea how that would work. His job would be to get closer to his victim and gain his trust. After that, victim have to choose if sacrifice himself or his new best friend. Victim whould choose to sacrifice himself but after that Chacmol would transform back and show him how everything was just a lie.

I got to admit I really like this series and how Overlord has such a large variety of creatures and personalities. Even the most minor of creatures has a given spotlight to show itself and what they can do. I can't wait till a season 4 comes out.
There are so many characters in Nazarick that I wish had a backstory. (the backstory that they themselves remember, not the backstory from actually just only being created in a game) I'd love to hear The Bartenders backstory and so many others, like the penguin and so forth. Maybe even the Worst Fives aswell.

Man I only watch the anime since I like the series. But man the Light Novel is totally different.
It was so dark and detailed that I even question myself for loving this series.
Especially when the scene of Arche's twin younger sisters, where they are waiting for her and talks about living together with her naively.

"The Worst Appearance" is giving me a big feeling similar to The Thing. Using humans and animals as hosts and morphing their biology while keeping them alive to a malformed version of themselves. At first i was trying to think of what "The Worst Appearance" could possibly be, but i'm now understanding it creates everyone's Worst Appearance that it gets its mutated hands on.
Pretty sure Imina's and Hekkaren's minds broke within the bare minimum of the first or second occurrence of their torture. So don't expect them to even register what is happening to them. When it comes to internal trauma ripping open the stomach is the absolute worst pain that could kill you just from the shock alone.
I think even the insanity is a luxury wich they don't have, if you remember the despeir aura of Ainz also can debuff you with that, and in a game a debuff can be hellead, so in conclusion, the death and the insanity are a luxury that those who invade Nazarick don't have... Maruyama need a psycologist.
I really enjoy these videos ^^ one series of videos I'd find interesting is how someone would go about successfully invading Nazarick. Maybe detailing each step the invaders would need to take and preparations they'd need.
I love your description of the workers that invaded Nazarick maybe it just means he actually just has a terrible personality, as in unlikable, because no matter how evil Demiurge is, he's still likable, this guy could just be a person with a terrible translation.
At the 11 minute mark, you offer the idea that Hilma sold out the other 8 Fingers' members to be tortured as she was. In the anime, I think she pleaded with the guardians that deposited her to the cell of her fellow inmates. I think Maré or Aura allowed Hilma to convince her fellow conscripts to heal like she did or face it & join her tortured servitude.

It would be cool to see some other major "good-themed" guilds as well. Otherwise it really does seem stompfest for Nazarick.
That is the weakness of the story. There is no competition for them at all, everyone else is stupid weak relative to them, there is no challenge at all, which makes sneaking around and plotting pretty pointless.
The other weakness is that you would expect a lot of infighting and intrigue going on within the guild, and there is none.
Lastly, Ainz himself is pretty cluesless about what is going on, based on his inner voice narrative. His stated objective is to find other PCs, particularly other PCs who were his old guild members, but there is no sign of any of them, or any evidence that he is actually looking. Instead he just wanders around randomly while his minions do what they think is his bidding. His main challenge seems to be hiding that fact. So it is all very pointless.

I only ask because unlike the countless others that post Overlord manga and character TH-cam videos you are one of the few that gives stats. However, what does that mean when we don't know the level for say, an average human? An average monster or demon (that exist outside and is NOT part of Ainz's guild)? The average knight? The average adventure? Etc...
That way when you do a video or just mention how Sebas single-handedly destroyed the strongest members of the crime syndicate in the kingdom in seconds... How Shalltear with her pinky-finger stopped Brian's most powerful move-someone who is the second strongest/greatest warrior in the kingdom (as well as being one of the strongest known humans in that entire world according to Clementine )... How Cocytus could just stand there when the lizard-men brothers used both magical and physical attacks against him.
You get the point a power/level comparison not between guild member but between them and the various people they fight in the new world outside of The Great Tomb. Yes we know they are all OverPowered but how much? How big is the Gap? I ask you because while most would just give a number you have shown yourself to be eloquent enough to help the viewer see this difference in simple yet clear terms with analogies.

If it’s like DND for summoner, they have more powerful summons and they generally have a longer duration for a summon spell. Like an example of this is summon nature’s ally, where that only last x amount of rounds depending on what your modifier and level is. With summoner instead they last minutes and it takes less time to do these summons, as well as swap some prepared spells for a summon spell

The way I interpret it is their actions to completely random people who are helpless to their will, positive Karma individuals will help them, negative karma individuals? Well demiurge created a human farm
The chac-mool is in a certain way a divine altar for sacrifices which recieved the hearts of warriors and prisoners alike, the statues themselves depicted persons on a trance state of mind due to the substances used on the ceremony, so the npc being a wacky, trippy and over the top sacrificial headmaster would be fitting.
Nothing wrong with being sponsored but I’ll wxplain about how real bdo is with the bad side. It’s extreemly microtransacting, Korean (which means its heavy influences on grinding mechanics above everything else), and a literally an rng end game that sometimes even throws you behind more often than ahead in the gambling system trying to upgrade your gear, with no level cap (no seriously) you literally won’t ever be able to catch up with people in a pvp based game that gambled for years to get where they are. Not only can you not compete you will be kicked out of high level grinding area to attempt to catch up. It’s such a bad system lol! Not to mention the in game store is priced 20$ per outfit.. and each outfit gives you stats for professions that is almost required to do. It’s... yeah.. pay to win.. even with a new item that is used to try to stop the gambling system of the gear grind sold on the store! Almost like they want you to buy it because the chance of actually doing it normally will take years to get a full set (if you can sense random!). It’s a great game with content but I would strongly advise this warning or others off youtube before even buying to know what you’re into. Look for angry peon videos of 2018. He will explain everything good and bad.
If given the choice between a waifu NPC, Nightmare fuel NPC, or a dank NPC like Eclair, I would go for the dank one.

Just the thought of being eaten alive from the inside by cockroaches terrifies me. It reminds me of an old B-horror film I watched as a kid a long time ago "They nest". In that movie a new species of carnivores cockroaches eat people in the exact same way. It also gave me a very realistic perspective of what that kind of torture must look like from an outsiders perspective. And it's horrific. It makes me lose my appetite just thinking about it.

Maruyama gave in when he was requested by fans to change Arche's destiny. I believe she's currently staying at the 6th floor of the Tomb, living with her sisters. She was Shaltear's... "Love" slave on Chapter 7's additional chapter. Later on, Ainz gave her the option to be happy after serving Shaltear, which is to say spend the rest of her life in the 6th floor with the druids and other residents.
