My favorite Demiurge moment is when Albedo told him how quickly Ainz managed to get the Empire to be loyal to the Sorcerer Kingdom. He expected it to take months and happen after the Re-Estize Kingdom was overtaken, but Ainz apparently managed it in just three days, much to Demiurge's surprise and glee.

Demiruge: Lord Ainz is so deeply in thought, he must be planning his next steps for the eons to come…! Ainz: Being an undead is weird, I kinda miss pooping
Love the part where demiurge ask ainz how far can he think ahead in the future and ainz was thinking of something and accidentally blurted out 10000 years
I know how all existence will end, yet the paths that will inevitably unfold are clouded by the still unknown. When the time comes he who has the ability to efficiently react to the given circumstances will prevail over those that merely thought about it once a thousand years ago.
I fear for the world demiurge can freely act in. I've often wondered what would happen if only the npcs were brought to the new world. I imagine most of them would simply guard the tomb forever but demiurge would search for his master's and murder to death every Kingdom in his way
@@activesocialmenace yeah compared to some of the other npcs he isn't that strong. But compared to the new world he is practically a demon god as a lvl 100. Im not sure if the npcs would fight each other seriously if ainz wasn't there but I don't think they would. They would probably say "have fun find our creators please" and watch him leave while the rest would protect the tomb. Still it's just my thoughts who knows how different the story would without ainz
There's actually a good example for that, on the bonus volume of the LN, the alternate reality when Ainz was the only one that transfered to the new world. Just go read it, it's really interesting Spoiler . . . . . . . . In the end of the novel, 200 years later after Ainz transfered, he heard about a pack of Demon that destroyed three countries simultaneously and they came from a tomb Called Great tomb of Nazarik.
Naw for me it's if demiurge was just unchained ainz just gave demiurge an order do whatever you want. We already know what demiurge does in the happy farm cutting of people skin and growing back, killing a parent or child of a family and than making it into a soup for another family to eat right in front of family. Like bro think villans or evil characters out there like for anime Griffith for comics darkside and Thanos. If demiurge was unchained he could literally match or surpass those characters in just pure evilness because demiurge will always find a way to make you suffer any way imaginable. Like volume 12 and 13 spoilers it will be in movie He literally used the holy queen a weapon made the paladins feel hopeless. Did experiments on the captured fused there bodies with demi-humans body parts. Let the demi-humans use the captured striped them naked tied them up like a fence didn't even feed them. Used kids as meat shields, gave a demi-human remedios sister head, kept the queen of clubs as a weapon until it rotted and until it was meat chunks of her. Demiurge is a sick F imagine what he'd do unchained.
I've recently came up with the idea for it to end with ainz's death (I don't believe that players can be resurrected) and in his final moments he will have one last flash of humanity and realize that with him gone all the guardians are gonna rampage this planet (especially if humans kill him then they will commit genocides) and ainz will realize he brought hell to this earth and now he won't be around to hold them back
Indeed. In fact the more intelligent you are the easier it is to convince yourself of things that aren't true. More intelligence is equal to greater skill in performing mental gymnastics. In reality Shalltear and Cocytus are the greatest threats to Nazerick as potential traitors, because they are actually dumb enough to potentially see Ainz for who he really is. Meanwhile Albedo and Demi will twist their brains into pretzels effortlessly to justify every mistake Ainz makes.
@@StarboyXL9 I don’t think they will betray Ainz on their own free will. All NPC’s are grateful to him for staying with them. In my opinion, characters like Sebas, Aura, Mare, Shaltear, and Cocytus are the one who’d most likely accept the real version of Ainz. Demiurge and Albedo, although I don’t think they will betray Ainz, but I think they’re the type of characters who would look down on someone lower than them, especially if they find out that Ainz is not really as intelligent as what they think.
Imagine accidentally killed 2 of your Enemy with an Immobilizing Spell strictly due to a ridiculous power gap. It's still hilarious on the desparity of power makes even Demiurge a valid threat in battle as he is as a tactician in the New World
Knowing his sadistic nature, he probably wanted them to die slowly or torture them a bit. Coming from a world where he’s the weakest one among his team, make sense he’d be using maximum power on his enemies expecting them to barely survive.
It's kinda wholesome that Ulbert made Demiurge for roleplay purposes. Instead of being a plain guard with insane PVP power, Demiurge has more personality in his build. This allows the creator to immerse into roleplaying, and Demiurge is a part of it.
I heard from a friend that we get to finally see Demiuge's Happy Farm in the upcoming movie. I can't wait, I've heard that it was a magical place of wonders.
Demiurge is probably near at the bottom of the strength ranking of all the Guardians since he is mostly a strategist but that doesn't mean he is weaker than a lot of the denizens of the new world. And what's scary about Demiurge is not only is he smart, he is quick to adapt, and makes quick changes to whatever he is planning.
Yeah demiurge wouldn’t enter a fight he couldn’t win. A strategist is the worst to fight. If you’d win because you’re stronger. You’d never get the chance.
I never knew bipedal sheep was humans I thought it was just some weird sheeps. This whole time I genuinely thought they were sheeps that stood on two legs but normal sheeps beyond that
In the novel, Demiurge actually explains it (in his own thoughts IIRC) as him recognizing that Ainz doesn't necessarily **care** about the humans, but he still finds some discomfort in being outright told stuff like "we're experimenting on people", so by using a euphemism, he's able to both inform his liege and avoid causing discomfort by saying it outright. It's honestly one of the more insightful things the guy's ever said. (Though Ainz didn't even get it lmao)
Ainz/Momonga's character design philosophy is basically how I do it in MMOs. I make sure my character can at least perform decently in the game but the most important thing is the character comes first, which means its a character not just a min maxed avatar as a vehicle for playing the game. MMORPG means mmoRPG. Sure some combnations might just not work in some kinds of games. like an "Ice Mage" Black Mage in Final Fantasy 14 lol!
I’m starting to wonder if, to make sure Lord Ainz doesn’t get the blame, Demiurge has a separate testing laboratory to keep human test subjects. That’s what I would do.
what do yo umean wonder? He openly talks about his human experiments in both the anime and the novel. Ainz knows about it and sends him people, both in the novel and the anime.
@@iamcool544 I don't think he knows about the 'Happy Farm' though since Demiruge uses the Bipedal sheep to describe them as an inside joke Ainz isn't aware of
I think he definitely would as soon as he puts together that he wants his subjects to be happy and "love him" like the Floor Guardians do (or so Demiurge would believe). Justifying it in his mind that a gilded cage makes ones subjects less unruly of course.
There’s a theory that Ainz intelligence stat is so high, he subconsciously makes the right moves and decisions at the perfect time to get optimal results. Ainz may think of himself as merely an incapable salary man, but his OP int stats won’t let him fail.
@@justingabat this makes sense tbh. In his human thinking, he just do things randomly but his character stats doing subconsciously he is just not aware of it.
@@alexanderzack3720 if she had just a lot more IQ, she wouldn't have fallen for such an obvious trap to get mind controlled, and that mistake could have gotten ainz killed if she was dumb enough to fall for the trap yet smart enough to actually understand her abilities and how to utilise them better the fact of the matter is, at least the way Ainz sees it, she is technically one of the weaker members by herself because of her personality, similarly Cocytus has the weakness of well, having honour and respect, you won't necessarily defeat him but you could survive against him by say being an unarmed woman or child, I'd call that a draw but of course being simply overpowered covers for alot of weaknesses in personality, disguising yourself as weak and feeble to get close to a big softy doesn't matter if they are literally immune to your damage dispite being a glasscannon build due to level alone
@@alexanderzack3720 Ainz is the only thing keeping the rest of Nazarik from going ape s*** and exterminating or enslaving everyone. If Shaltear had Demiurge's intelligence, she would have seen through Ainz's tricks and force him to retreat. This would set Shaltear loose if not for the dark elf twins who were watching the fight. Ainz's defeat would ruin his reputation and had the others start a coup.
@@MrLandShark55_55 I don't think it would ruin his reputation, every floor Guardian still absolutely devoted to Ainz' supremacy believed he couldn't win the fight because of the respective builds. Only Albedo believed he could win and that's because she was utterly devoted to him. They don't seem to see the Supreme Ones as greater than them in power (they were MADE by them to fight people of their own natures after all in the game), but because of some esoteric nature or genius that they can't approach.
Demiurge is powerful in the same way Ainz is powerful, they both have roleplay builds that have incredibly potent ability combinations that work well off the aesthetic they both have. And both are clever enough to use it both to its fullest, and manipulate the enemy to act in a manner that allows them to work even better. Ainz has been stated in a side novel with the supreme beings as to being a jack of all trades, having spells for nigh any situation. While Demiurge isn't quite on that level, that was never the asthetic. Demiurge is all about doing as much evil/demonic stuff he can in the most brutally effective manner possible, while being that "final boss" demon standing at the back of an army that he commands flawlessly and still holding his own when he finally has to throw hands himself. Ulbert took a LOT of inspiration from Momonga's build as he was to a degree jealous of him being able to make an extremely effective dream asthetic build, while he simple went full minmax to the same degree peroronchino did.
@Tein Meizeshi i mean after what they went though it would be more evil to let go. they would also get PTSD flashbacks every time they scratch dead skin off.
Trying to estimate Demiurge’s power seems similar to viewing Batman in the Justice League. He can put up a fight against almost anyone at any time, but with any preparation, he is unbeatable.
I was happy when I first saw his name. In Eastern Europe we use this name as a supernatural being who know everything(really smart) and the other supernatural creatures seek his advice. He also lives in the sky or among the start, if I remember correctly. Is so cool that the author chose this name, it fits him. I did not know about him being from a religion, but the more you know.
Huh, interesting. For me it was the opposite just now. I knew Demiurge/Jaldabaoth is a central figure in gnosticism, but I didn't know he had other interpretations as well
Demiurge is one of the main reasons the New World is lucky Ainz is around. Even with his flickering humanity, he still has enough sense to impose restrictions on Demiurge and how much damage he's allowed to do. Tho, a scenario where Ainz isn't around and Demiurge is allowed to do whatever he wants is terrifying. The New World wouldn't even be a wasteland like if Shalltear were to go on a murderspree. It would be one giant torture chamber, with everyone except those of Nazarick as the unwilling guinea pigs.
AniNews thanks for merging videos dedicated to each character together. It would prove to be easier for People to find 1 video that cover it all instead of 15 videos that cover similar points. Still I eagerly wait for New videos :) Love your art of retelling
I already knew how evil Demiurge is but hearing it once again just makes me feel really bad for the humans. Great video as always. Keep up the good work. Also I don't mind rewatching those videos it makes it look like a complete project.
Demiurge: (Proceeds to explain how what happened ties into Ainz's master 10000 year plan absolutely flawlessly, and he does it on the spot as if he was in on it the entire time and as if it was actually planned) (Because in his genius mind it definitely was the work of the Supreme Being he serves)
I love demiurge!!! Intellect before strenght :D Thanks for the video! Loved hearing about the lore behind him, especially whats actually been goin on at that farm-
An advantage of the shapeshifter class may be that it's a physical route to achieve those utility features mentioned. Being a magic caster could give you those powers too, but could potentially require more investment in your mana supply via class/race levels that otherwise aren't useful for your build, or be more costly in terms of levels to unlock all the ones you need. Additionally using magic to acquire these effects would likely make you vulnerable to anti-magic effects usable by more dedicated casters: things like DnDs Counterspell or anti-magic area. By physically growing wings it likely meant better casters couldn't just disable his flight by breaking his inferior spells
And that it is not actually Demiurge. But hey who actually reads every word in a book. It tells you in the Sacred Kingdom arc this much. Go re-read it.
@@lordomacron3719 well it has been about 3 years since I read it. What was it actually a demon lord posing as him or some such? Maybe I misremembered but I could swear I remember them saying that he at least HAS one
@@doubleedge2814 ah I re-read all the English LNs before the new season dropped so it it fresher in my mind. That and me being a tad annoyed the cut those two volume out of S4 to make then into a movie. As I think the movie will be too short and the arc will feel rushed. But I am avid reader and not just Japanese LNs I own over a thousand books and read many more so I always think adaptations are too short and rushed.
@@doubleedge2814 oh by the way do you know that there is an English audiobook version of Overlord now I think they are up to V5 so far. The Eng VA for Aniz is the narrator. My only really criticism is that it’s ONLY tha VA and his range of female voices is small so many of the female sound a little to much the same.
If I'm to be perfectly honest, it's the suit that does it for me. Like The Devil's Advocate, or American Psycho, it's that sophisticated evil that makes you hate how much you're capture by it.
Honestly, Demiurge is one of the main reasons I love Overlord so much. The anime industry has been oversaturated with waifus for so many years that discovering a single husbando is like a drop of rain in the Sahara.
i like imagining myself as a player of the game in overlord and just vibing as a blacksmith/runesmith, i love just grinding and creating powerfull weapons. and to imagine myself at the side of nazarick, well, its safe to say i wouldnt go outside of its walls much.
Most people would run an alt toon. One that does crafting and one that does raiding/pvp If the game wouldn't let you do that, it makes more sense that players were kinda forced to take guild dungeons so players could make npcs that would take levels in crafting classes.
If yiggdrasil is close to anything like 3.5 dnd, then artificers (aka the crafting class) ended up being one of the most breakable classes, the optimization build "omnicificer" was a design that could get to godhood by 4th level.
Awesome video. Love the level of detail and analysis that goes into these, and the sense of humor throughout is VERY refreshing! Cant wait to see more from you
I think ainz skeletal race skill make him immune to mental damage which also mean he have less empathy or become cold at heart cmiiw, thats why in the show whenever ainz had outburst of emotion his passive skill kick in and calm him down, maybe thats he doesnt think much about demiurge happy farm
Thank you again for the wonderful video 💙 I very much appreciate and enjoy listening to the in depth details of any of the characters in Overlord. I can't wait to see more and watch your stream again! - Rizebenihime
Shapeshifter was probably needed to get Arch devil race. like how aniz needed time magic to unlock his special 5 level race class, all of his aspects of the devils are probably shapeshift spells boosted by the race skills basing on how aniz's goal of all life is death spell being a mix of necromancer and time magic. (Which means with 10 levels in shapeshifter and 10 levels in devil you'd be able to get the 5 levels of Arch devil... Still wonder what that last 10 race levels are... High imp maybe.. doubt it's Incubus or other lust type demons considering they already had a succubus custom NPC.. maybe 10 levels in demon?)
Really late but i dont think ainz’s special class, “eclipse” needs time magic. You may be referring to the overlord chronomancer which specializes in time magic. The eclipse class requires a dedicated necromancy build, not time
You know I kind of wonder could he be just a person. for the mind of knowledge nothing more of course he could defend himself if needed but he's mostly there for knowledge learning his surroundings as well as out smarting the smartest people honestly. truly awesome video to the very end.
Bro, watching the Demiurge lore video years ago is what started in me reading the LN and now i'm obsessed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart that because of you, I was able to read a masterpiece.
i want shalltear creator come with ainz , he will change new world to a hentai game , order shalltear collect all beauties girls and teach them all hentai
I love the mysterious factors of Overlord NPCs and characters, especially for someone like Demurgis. Keeps us guessing and speculating instead of being given everything
Keep it up chief love the supercuts as a refresher for the current season, Very smart move my guy ;) Also love the cut content and the effort you pop into these vids!
I was just thinking, those wacky roleplay abilities are useless in the game, but now that they're real and combined with his intellect, they're VERY useful.
@@Abdega I'd assume min-maxed characters and meta characters would not be as OP in the New World, I mean still OP because they'll be lvl100 gods, but you get what I mean. I mean in the way that min-maxers and meta player take advantage of game mechanics, but the New World isn't a game and now those roleplay silly skills have become real. Like with how Ainz chose undead, it was just a visual aspect, but now he is immortal, where as someone who chose a Human character, while super powerful, is only going to live to about 80-90.
@@whitingpie5146 To be fair we don't know that. Ainz says he was in the upper middle ranks of PvP, but would lose against the true top. It is fair to assume that those guys would be even more broken.
I think the Shapeshifter class might be a heteromorphic exclusive class that allows them to shapeshift into their previous race forms. So, when Demiurge turns into the winged frog, he's actually reverting to his Imp form or a similar racial form. The Aspect spells all seem to clearly come from his Archdevil racial tree, or from a simpler Devil tree. Archdevil likely gives him his Evil Lord summons, Command Mantra, and Dimensional Lock skills. Prince of Darkness likely gives him Hell Flame and Hellfire Wall while Chaos gives Flames of Gehenna and Meteor, both of which also possibly being race locked to demons but considered job classes.
Lol this is hilarious, AWESOME WORK BRO, been watching for a while now… also the monitor breaking only something t1 does… HE A STRAIGHT MENACE TO SOCIETY
Even if Demiurge’s mind was transferred to just a normal human and alone he would be a potentially massive threat to literally everybody in existence cuz if he wanted to just take over the world I honestly think probably only the elder dragons would be able to stop him as they just have the raw power to go against him when he only has his mind
You need power of equal form. Ainz would crush his just breathing as a human. Now given time he would be more powerful than a typical human. He would be able to break past limits easier with knowledge.
I washed all the way till the end and I love it again your extensive detail and knowledge on the characters of overlord make the anime and manga even more enjoyable just started reading the manga after watching the first season because it’s just so good and because of all the knowledge you’ve brought to my attention makes me love each and every character more that I feel like I need no I want to read the manga. If you can no pressure please continue the series on all of the characters I love it I watch it all I support it I promote it it’s just great and Well put together
I love how one of his classes is just "Chaos". ETA 1: Also, I was under the impression that his frog head was his true form. Kinda like Shalltear's lamprey like face and beastial limbs. ETA 2: Also, basing this on D&D Shapeshifters and the probability that Shapeshifter is a mid tier class, I'm slapdash theory crafting that his base class for Shapeshifter (whatever that may be) gives him the ability to turn his whole body into some selection of other forms, Shapeshifter then gives him access to more forms. Chaos may also be some sort of this as well. And then a high tier class, probably requiring both Chaos and Shapeshifter (possible even Prince of Darkness) gives him access to Aspect of the Devil. Like maybe Chaos gives him the ability to turn into a chimera of some sort that isn't a creature in Ygdrassil but is bits and pieces of different creatures. Then because he has all these insane forms from Shapeshifter and the ability to transform all of his limbs into different parts (and maybe even because he commands demons with Prince of Darkness, that gives him access to demon parts. Reaching I know.) He then gets Aspect of the Devil from his highest tier class. Alternatively, for these reasons he was able to get the Archdemon racial class and get Aspect of the devil. This is fun. ETA 3: also, he has GOT to have some sort of perception blocking too. That or the New World is plagued with snazzily dressed evil demons. Not sure which of those I want more.
I've got a pet theory about the Shapeshifter class. Basically, it's a class only available to the Heteromorphic Races, and it would allow the person to be able to temporarily gain abilities/features from other parts of their racial tree. So he can get that big-ol' fist from a demon like the Scale Demon, or the claws from Wrath. That would at least be somewhat desirable - the ability to use abilities from other racial classes could lead to interesting combos, or at least make it easy to switch up your play style for a short while to counter someone else's strategy.
As we've heard from his inner monologues, his literal quote is: "When it comes to battle, I am confident I would win (against the other guardians) given enough preparation. There is only one opponent whom I can not assure victory even with enough preprations. And that's my master, Ainz ooal gown, who is always ten steps ahead" This means that Demiurge is indeed one of the most dangerous individuals in nazarick. And that there are more ways to win a battle than a straight brawl.
It's worth noting that in 3e D&D, the Slaadi are the "frog demons". They are of course wholly distinct from devils, being Chaotic Neutral inhabitants of Limbo, but visually he reminds me of a slaad. Yugoloths also have something similar; perhaps features from one or another. I can't think of a D&D devil that would really match his particular make-up though.
You know what would be really cool? An Overlord game where the goal is to go from Floor to Floor, defeating the Floor Guardians like Dark Souls bosses as well as all their minions. Then the final boss is Albedo and Ainz congratulates you at the end and insta-kills you and then roll credits.
Lmao hahahah. Was I the only one that had to rewind when he said "he just shit stomped the invader's"..... That caught me off guard so good it made my morning I was laughing so hard. Love the work man keep up the good work. Lol this guy ....
DEMIURGE is so damn OP... As RPG player, His stats maybe cant seem so straordinari at first sight, but really with that very high resist and the ability to buff himself and its allies, summoning, shapeshifting, debuffing others without the fear of getting debuffed for his high resist make Demiurge more scary or stronger than u think. Add to the pile the high intelligence of Demiurge and a lot of his skill are unknow and so very difficult to predict. DEMIURGE may BEAT and WIN against everyone in Nazirick or anything the world in case one day decide of rebelling. As told from the video author, for now only his FIDELETY stop him for making a complete MADNESS outsider of Nazarick and the world
Demiurge is the God/Summoner wizard archetype. Aka the one that can solo entire encounters with a few spells and makes the DM sigh as he needs to figure out a way to design an encounter to challenge both him and let the guy swinging around a sword have some fun. :P
@@wolferwilder1206 yeah, ShallTear is a the perfect counter to that army summoning type lol, those fodder minions would just be extra HP for her ahhaha
Shalltear is very strong and that weapon is very strong too, but Shalltear has its limit, first mostly of her attacks work only at close range where of course she really excel but.. dont dorget she is pretty dump and very weak to alterated status... As I told before, dont understimate a debuffer class especially with the ability debuffing/ crowd control, summon allies.. In a lot of games these debuffing specialist classes are generally very annoying and hated for the fact they generally has low dps but high damage in the longer times and stun locking abilities, they are very strong and a good one can also manage to win a pvp without getting attacked, they generally are very strong in both pvp and gvg for its nasty abilities and mass debuffing (moviment speed, attack speed, elemental and magic resistance/ stun locking and shields), in pvm it's not rare they can also manage to make as solo some party dungeon and solo boss with their summons. Demiurge may have all or almost all this package above, add also the fact he can shapeshifting and improve or buffing of a lot its physical and magic ability while his opponenet is more weak and crippled from debuffs, in that right moment he can OVERPOWER anyone despite the differance in RAW POWER at the beginning. Demiurge is true he has very AVERAGE STATS, at first sight he may no excel in nothing but that also mean he has NO WEAKNESS TOO, while normally the counter classes for them are the ones with high damage nuke abilities or very high dps damage before they can use their strings of debuffs/ locking skills. But as told before what is more SCARY of Demiurges is his high intelligience, he is a master strategist and can read people without meeting them. high resistance seem a very weak stat, but with high resistance may means nobody may debuff Demiurge, NOBODY MAY STOP DEMIURGE and that evil mind will make sure to kill as all debuffer classes I have seen and how Demiurge style manage his victims in Overlord... in a continue but slowly LOOP OF PAIN : (
Shalltear can make solo a army... maybe.. But Demiurge is a man of army, he can summon a solid group of strong general servants, and they too alone one by one summon a army at their service.. so damn SCARY XD

Just go read it, it's really interesting

Like volume 12 and 13 spoilers it will be in movie
He literally used the holy queen a weapon made the paladins feel hopeless.
I've recently came up with the idea for it to end with ainz's death (I don't believe that players can be resurrected) and in his final moments he will have one last flash of humanity and realize that with him gone all the guardians are gonna rampage this planet (especially if humans kill him then they will commit genocides) and ainz will realize he brought hell to this earth and now he won't be around to hold them back
Demiurge and albedo are living proof that no matter how smart/intelligent you are…..you will always be vulnerable to cognitive bias.
Pandora's actor also
@@StarboyXL9Cocytus would never betray Ainz simply because of a warrior's loyalty.
They might make their goal to change real Ains to match their fictional perception of him.
I hope we get an Overlord prequel, focusing on guild members when they started playing and made Ainz oal Gown. Once the main season is completed
Even a prequel regarding the new world and the arrival of the players such as the 6GG and the 8GK would also be great
@@VercilJuan yeah. overlord is rich with story content. theres a lot of things that (not yet tackled) that can be used as storyline.
There is a side story that describes how the guild obtained The Great Tomb of Nazarick. It's a light novel though.
Imagine accidentally killed 2 of your Enemy with an Immobilizing Spell strictly due to a ridiculous power gap. It's still hilarious on the desparity of power makes even Demiurge a valid threat in battle as he is as a tactician in the New World
Wasn't accidental. He did it to effectively mock Evileye.

It's kinda wholesome that Ulbert made Demiurge for roleplay purposes. Instead of being a plain guard with insane PVP power, Demiurge has more personality in his build. This allows the creator to immerse into roleplaying, and Demiurge is a part of it.
Many strong classes had the prerequisite of killing a certain number of heteromorphs so that made the relation between them even worse

I heard from a friend that we get to finally see Demiuge's Happy Farm in the upcoming movie. I can't wait, I've heard that it was a magical place of wonders.
Ah, my friends said that they will be going on a school trip there for the whole summer. Can't wait for the pictures!

You will see how brutal is demiurge is
Wait, there's a movie?
Demiurge is probably near at the bottom of the strength ranking of all the Guardians since he is mostly a strategist but that doesn't mean he is weaker than a lot of the denizens of the new world. And what's scary about Demiurge is not only is he smart, he is quick to adapt, and makes quick changes to whatever he is planning.
Yeah demiurge wouldn’t enter a fight he couldn’t win. A strategist is the worst to fight. If you’d win because you’re stronger. You’d never get the chance.
Demiurge can also use "dimensional lock" which makes it impossible to escape a certain area.
I never knew bipedal sheep was humans I thought it was just some weird sheeps. This whole time I genuinely thought they were sheeps that stood on two legs but normal sheeps beyond that
So did Ains
I was already suspicious of bipedal when i first came across it while reading the LN
Oh you poor innocent soul.
That's why it's a farm, only twisted minds like mine would get that the first time
Ainz/Momonga's character design philosophy is basically how I do it in MMOs.
I refuse to do some quests because my character(s) wouldn't agree to them
I’m starting to wonder if, to make sure Lord Ainz doesn’t get the blame, Demiurge has a separate testing laboratory to keep human test subjects. That’s what I would do.
"That’s what I would do."
bruh
That what the Happy Farm is for
what do yo umean wonder? He openly talks about his human experiments in both the anime and the novel. Ainz knows about it and sends him people, both in the novel and the anime.
@@iamcool544 I don't think he knows about the 'Happy Farm' though since Demiruge uses the Bipedal sheep to describe them as an inside joke Ainz isn't aware of
I think he definitely would as soon as he puts together that he wants his subjects to be happy and "love him" like the Floor Guardians do (or so Demiurge would believe). Justifying it in his mind that a gilded cage makes ones subjects less unruly of course.
I always admired how Demiurge thinks Aniz is a genius, despite the fact Demiurge is always thinking Hundreds of steps of ahead of him. 🤣
There’s a theory that Ainz intelligence stat is so high, he subconsciously makes the right moves and decisions at the perfect time to get optimal results. Ainz may think of himself as merely an incapable salary man, but his OP int stats won’t let him fail.

does it stand a chance as is? so far i haven´t seen much that could pose a threat to nazarik
@@alexanderzack3720 if she had just a lot more IQ, she wouldn't have fallen for such an obvious trap to get mind controlled, and that mistake could have gotten ainz killed if she was dumb enough to fall for the trap yet smart enough to actually understand her abilities and how to utilise them better
the fact of the matter is, at least the way Ainz sees it, she is technically one of the weaker members by herself because of her personality, similarly Cocytus has the weakness of well, having honour and respect, you won't necessarily defeat him but you could survive against him by say being an unarmed woman or child, I'd call that a draw
but of course being simply overpowered covers for alot of weaknesses in personality, disguising yourself as weak and feeble to get close to a big softy doesn't matter if they are literally immune to your damage dispite being a glasscannon build due to level alone
@@nyanbrox5418 its not a trap, since the black scripture just happen to be there, i agree that she is quite over confident tho

I look forward to your vids when Season 4 isnt enough to quell the week i have to wait for 20 mins.
Well done, Sir.

Just wanted to point out that we now know as of volume 13 LN that demiurge does in fact have a final Balrog looking final form and its totally badass
And that it is not actually Demiurge. But hey who actually reads every word in a book. It tells you in the Sacred Kingdom arc this much.

Most people would run an alt toon.
One that does crafting and one that does raiding/pvp
If the game wouldn't let you do that, it makes more sense that players were kinda forced to take guild dungeons so players could make npcs that would take levels in crafting classes.
If yiggdrasil is close to anything like 3.5 dnd, then artificers (aka the crafting class) ended up being one of the most breakable classes,
the optimization build "omnicificer" was a design that could get to godhood by 4th level.

I was just thinking, those wacky roleplay abilities are useless in the game, but now that they're real and combined with his intellect, they're VERY useful.

Its kind of cool to listen to this and look back on how your voice / delivery has changed
When he asks how far ahead does Ainz makes plans for and he axcidently says 10,000 years and demiurge is like o_O

I laughed with the 'Not actually a half-orc' 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just coming back. At the 25 min mark, you predicted exactly what he does in the Sacred Kingdom movie
Damn I love these, and it always makes me want to rewatch all of Overlord.
And that's my master, Ainz ooal gown, who is always ten steps ahead"
This means that Demiurge is indeed one of the most dangerous individuals in nazarick. And that there are more ways to win a battle than a straight brawl.
I think its more likely Demiurge true form involves a 'frog head and wings', and his more human form is the shape shift.
Demiurge:my work is hard but maaaan i love my work
I love the duality between Ulbert and Touch me.
it took me 5 minutes to realize its a sawed Explained, welp, its a good thing its a single video

Lol nope shalltear counter him. Shalltear had op heal weapon. Basically she take whole army by himself
I wonder what type of anime overlord would end up being if ulbert was transported instead of ainz. The thought is just chilling.
Day 50 of asking for a grand assassin Hassan servant review
Obviously he would add cute anime girls 🙄
@@d-class-to2of A yes, this reminds me of Happy sugar life. Cute anime girl on the outside but a fucked psycho inside.
I just love how the thumbnail, given the lighting and the fact that his finger looks like a mustache, makes him look like Micheal Jackson
Im loving theses super cuts
Ainz: loses to the hero anime protag-kun and gets shitstomped by their guild (cue jojo golden wind stomping scene)
Demiurge: Brilliant! I understand your grand plan completely! *Starts kicking ainz as well*
Demiurge even says he is confident in beating every floor guardian with enough preperation. Except for Ainz because he can't grasp his mastermindplans
I always make it to the end of your videos bro keep up the content you are the only person on TH-cam that I listen to about overlord
Idk about all of the guild memebers but whoever created that roach room is a sociopath
I have been watching your vids nonstop... I can't wait for the movie and then the next season.
May start reading the light novel... Already watched all seasons 9 times...
The Happy in Happy Farm is meant for Demiurge who enjoys human's suffering.
He’s just a happy farmer
Very nice presentation. Instant sub!
0:24 that penguin race is the most evil in existence
I don't think I love watching any other content more than this
8:45 That's not domestication, that's taming. Domestication involves breeding for certain selected traits.
So basically a shapeshifter in yggdrasil is kind of like nen-enchancer class where you can enchance different parts of your body like using it on your eyes for greater vision
wow i never connected that bipedal sheep were humans lol
Happy farm sounds like a nice place :)
