Gotta love the guy @ 06:00, it rattles, maybe because you got the suspension slammed to the ground and the camber is way off!! 😂😅😂
😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah that guy totally messed up his Tesla.
😂
Build quality on older model 3s do get a lot of complaints but I’m sure his upgrades didn’t help lol
Why would he do that to the car ?? Ruined it. I asked a tire expert once is this for aesthetics or does it actually do anything ? He said the former and it actually wears the tires out a lot more amongst other things. Perfectly great car and people do this
Singapore guy was the most interesting. Very comfortable on camera and a joy to listen to. I had no idea cars were so expensive in usd there!
I totally agree!
he is a popular youtuber : www.youtube.com/@DarenYoong
He’s got his own Tesla bull youtube channel
Also better English than most American
Really I thought everyone knew cars in Singapore were ridiculously priced. They are trying to encourage fewer vehicles. You know if you see someone in a Ferrari or an even more expensive hypercar that that person is doing extremely well financially.
This was absolutely the best reality interview i watched on TH-cam. Real life people with jobs.

$750 and he put $10k down!? Dudes credit must have been SHOT
Was (now paid off) paying $800 a month on my 2019 Model 3 because instead of putting a down payment towards it I bought Tesla stock. That stock has since 15x, more than what I paid for the car.
That’s amazing! Some people also have higher monthly payments because they choose a shorter term
@@muny_man 2.99% interest was practically nothing so I didn't bother with a down payment.
@@MarkLLawrence Nice! Yeah that’s only smart if you have a low interest rate like you do. For instance, I get around 4.5% interest on my high yield savings account so if the rate is lower than that it would be smarter to keep the money in the savings account.
$800 a month u got shafted
Nice. Super lucky and the stock is way overpriced and not worth anywhere near what it trades at.
Model 3 One of the best cars I ever owned, only problem is that the price reductions really made me feel ripped off, only if I had waited a few months I would have been in a model Y
I had both. Also got them expensive in 2022. Model 3 drives wayyy better than the Y. But most people say the Y is a more practical car.
@damifemia4695 Same 2022...83k otd with all the add ons minus wheels/tires and fancy color.

I feel like i got a good deal, but now I'm seeing them even cheaper. Got my 22M3 RWD

thank you!
Just got a Tesla yesterday. 2021 m3 standard range plus 31k miles. 350 a month. No money down
Where you get it?
What’s your credit?
What’s the length of the loan
I paid $42K cash for a 2023 Tesla Model 3 RWD one year ago and just got the $7500 tax rebate. It's my first EV, I've put 10K miles on it, and I'm very happy. I kept my last car 18 years and plan on keeping this until it quits.
About to get your exact model ... with 40k miles for 22k..
How much are you planning on paying for the battery replacement?
@@katiecommon3614 most Tesla owners will never need to replace the big battery. They will likely have a new car by the time the battery is old. It’s not like a gas car where you replace a battery every 3 to 5 years.
😅😅😅😅 this won't go 18yrs.
5yrs later not able to reach 80 to 100%.
range cut by 30%
You ready to pay 10 to 20k for a rebuild battery
rebuild comes with a 1yr warranty .
Better start saving money to the side if you planning to keep it 18yrs
You looking at replacing at least 3 battery in 18yrs, maybe 4 or just ride it out with less range each yr till it only goes 80 miles only
@@DanielGarcia-zz9eg You do realize that tesla warranties batteries for 8 years 150k miles right? There are plenty of people that have had teslas for 10-12 years now on the original battery (and that was before they got even better). It's pretty rare the high voltage battery needs replaced. Less common than needing to replace a gasoline motor.

10 was the amount to put down for a 32k renovation.
I think you should easily be able to afford a 10k down payment if you’re buying a nice car
10k might be a lot of money for some people, but it is little bit of money for people who can afford something like a Tesla Y.
10k down and 700$ payment. wtf he must have. 20% interest rate lol
10k down isn’t a lot when you’re talking about buying a car.
“Kinda raddles a lot” as he has it lowered to the floor along with camber on the wheeels like duh
The Singapore certificate of entitlement ($106,000 fee) to own a car is one of the craziest things I’ve ever heard of.
Yeah because Singapore is a small city-state and the government tries to disincentivize people from getting a car. Public transportation is top notch in Singapore anyways.
Crazier than a city like Los Angeles having millions of people and an almost nonexistent public transit system?
Just lost my model s 2013 I was paying way too much for it almost $700 with insurance. But it got totaled, this week I got a model 3 and and total with insurance about $500 and I am so happy. Never go back, the renal I suffered with would eat up $35 a week which is more than what i spent a month on charging.
I don’t care. I have gasoline vehicle that runs perfectly and is PAID OFF. I will drive that car till the wheels fall off. Having no car payments is FREEDOM.
Yep. And energy prices are going up like crazy. Here in CA many people's electric bill are over $500 a month now. So unless you got free supercharging you're not saving money between the gasoline/electric charging area.
I agree. I drove my old car, 18 years old, until the engine messed up.
Don't tell us about the wheels falling off, tell us maintenance and repair costs until the wheels fall off

I mean i looked at tesla...but its also the insurance...i pay 350 for 2 toyota hybrids...and one tesla coverage is 425+ ....i looked and compared every insurance company...also repairs are expensive...i see regular cars and regular maintenance with oil changes etc...is still cheaper...you will also need to do tire rotations ...replace tires , replace brake fluids...its really just the oil chnage/fuel injectors youre saving....not a good investment...especially if youre only earning 40 bucks an hr....what is that 80% per paycheck to tesla? Lol....thats a bad investment choice

Hey Dennis that's my neighbor!!! I talked him into getting his black model Y lol
He said it rattles a lot but he got the body of the car sitting on the wheels 🤣🤣
Ive been a independent licensed used car dealer for 19 years and I vowed I would never buy a Tesla for myself...Well, after selling several of them and spending a little time behind the wheel, I ended up buying myself a one year old Model Y long range and after owning it for almost a year now, I can say without a doubt, this is the best decision ive ever made in buying a car for my own personal use. In fact, I ordered a new Cybertruck!!...Someone mentioned BMW, and all I can say is BMW is about the biggest POS car on the planet along with Dodge Chargers and Challengers that you see a different one driving down the street every 30 seconds.
Spending $600 a month, for a $60,000 ev just to avoid oil change. Big brain move 😅
Dont forget to do maintenance on your gear pil change on that Tesla. Still uses a lubricant for the gears
Big dude with the red Tesla really didn’t wanna reveal how much he made lol
Higher insurance, replacing tires by 25k miles, range anxiety, long waiting while charging the car and finally the car will be obsolete one day soon.
Tesla broke my heart when I bought a model y for 70k, then the next week they lowered the prices by 15-20k. I could’ve bought another car like a Camry or even saved up for another model 3 or y if I waited
true!
Is what it is. Tesla is about making money and demand was nuts at that point
I would've been pissed off if this happened to me. The fact that Tesla did this was unheard of in the industry. They basically over inflated the value of their cars for the longest time. I understand that it was for profit but they really screw their long time customers just so they could gain new ones.
They should've prorated a pay back program for any customers that purchased their Tesla for the last 3 years or so. Like if you had just gotten it before the price drop and lost $13K or so then you should have at least gotten $10K back. Something granular and not just a straight deep drop like that.
And yet, so many people love that Tesla experience. LOL
@@volcalstone
When you have higher demand than actual supply capabilities, well, you kind of need to increase prices, which made Tesla some buck which allows them to keep expanding.
Tho lowering car prices by this much in one go is huge blow for those who got their cars one week before it.

@znismo1 41k included the taxes and fees. But, you're right, I was wrong. I actually received $10,500 in rebates... California had a $7,500 rebate for electric cars, and San Joaquin County residents received an additional $3,000k rebate... I actually paid $30,500 for a base model, Tesla.....
2023 model 3 here and I love mine! It’s definitely not a car for everyone from the simplicity to the way you have to charge it or distance of drive you might need to do but for me and my own lifestyle it works perfectly. Would love to have been able to trade it in clean and upgrade to the latest redesigned 2024 model but the constant price fluctuation really was my one biggest issue with Tesla. Other than that I’m basically a Tesla owner for a long time.
Spot on, like Chase said... It rattles a Lot. Interior build quality is lacking terribly. My ICE car, there's No interior rattling at all. But, using my Tesla for local shorter commuting, it's fine. Long road trips, I'll stick with my Toyota Camry.
haha
We were at an auto show with 250 vehicles +. We test drove a jeep and a model y. The y rattled, was uncomfortable in the back, and everything felt cheaper and worse built than cars of the same price. I’d rather have a Prius, Kia k5, Camry, crown, older Lexus, etc.
When the battery 🔋 brakes down, 15k 20k?
Tesla covers all replacements including battery up to 120k miles or 10 years and even after warranty 90 percent of teslas battery's last upwards of 200k miles and even higher. On top of all that aftermarket refurbished batteries go for 3 to 4k
batteries go for 3 to 4k......LET THAT SINK IN.
So out of warranty battery varies for the Model. Model 3 is around 12-16k. Model Y is 14-15k, Model S is 15-20k, While model X is 17k-20k. Ive only heard of 20k battery replacements though if the battery is damaged from road debris, like the coolant line getting sliced. But you have a warranty for 10 years, so you should be able to save up the money from the money saved by not buying gas in the 10 year span.
@Chris.Lester bruh that not really a flex. That is still REALLY expensive
Most Tesla owners will never have to replace a battery.
Model y dude was chill and honest

Pros: All the tech, autopilot, charging at home (cost me $25/month for unlimited home charging), maintenance, safety

True. My elderly mother in law often doesn’t close the door fully.

To the gentleman currently in medical school.
Some disappointing news for you. After medical school, unfortunately there's residency where we get the lovely experience of making around 60,000 a year while working 80 hours a week for 3 years at least. You most certainly will not be making $100,000 a year in residency
Once you're done with residency, you will make no less than $250,000 a year Even as an outpatient primary care. Maybe pediatric get paid closer to lower $200.
My first year out of medical school I made 52,000 then 56 and 57,000 a yr.
My first year out of residency I made 350,000 as a primary care physician
These are the true numbers
Loved this video and the concept. I’m in the process of searching and this helped a lot.

"I don't think there is anything I don't like about my Tesla." Until it catches on fire in your garage.
Save on oil changes but spend $$$ on new batteries and tires
The cost of insurance and tires offsets any savings from oil changes and gas.
And it’s so simple to do oil changes yourself that people don’t really understand the cost
Why do non-Tesla owners always make the point about the battery? Most Tesla owners will never have to buy a battery. By the time that would be needed they’ll be onto their next car. Not to mention it’s covered for 10 years.

New honda civics are going for $30000 and 4 year old used ones for like $22000, so compared to a tesla its not that much of a difference in price (2k ?) and you're getting a way nicer car plus no gas and less maintenance costs.
Taking delivery of the updated model 3 in a few days. I already have a Hyundai Elantra that’s paid off, which I will keep. That being said, I really wanted to get a Tesla so I’m leasing one. $3000 for upfront fees and it’s a 3 year lease. 15k mileage limit and $560 per month. As someone who has been spending over 200$ a month, I’m looking forward to seeing how it functions/serves as a commuter car.
What are the best strategies to protect my portfolio? I've heard that a downturn will devastate the financial market, so I'm concerned about my $200k stock portfolio.
If the market has taught me anything, it's that it always recovers, but I can't seem to focus on the long run when major factors like my retirement and my reserve are wreaking havoc on inflation. I require a solid data trajectory and solution as soon as possible.
@@JasonsHortons I agree with you. As an early investor in NVDA, AVGO, ANSS, and LRCX, my financial advisor's advice was incredibly helpful. Over the past seven years, she has helped me find stocks that have performed 10x multiple times. With her help, I've grown my portfolio to over a million dollars.
@NebiheVergara Mind if I ask you to recommend this particular coach you using their service? Seems you've figured it all out.

@NebiheVergara Thank you for this Pointer. It was easy to find your handler, She seems very proficient and flexible.
Recently bought a used M3.. researched charging rates.. i only charge at home, but it's my commuter. Cost is only .10 per kwh.. public charging in Arizona ranges from .13 (rare) up to almost .50. imagine for gas, people paying up to 4x. Why are some EV owners willing to pay that premium? If I didn't have cheap home pricing, then I probably wouldn't have bought an EV.
I own a used model 3 also. I haven't noticed the increase in my electric bill. 2 children moved out also so I guess the car males up for that.

thank you ~
I had a uber driver pick me up in a Tesla
It felt like it was made cheap inside , made alot of squeaky noise.
I test drive a Ford Mach-E and it was fun driving it from Los Angeles to Vegas and back but finding a charger for Ford was horrible.
The problem is, I feel like after 5yrs the EV is deferring your fuel cost. Do you replace the Battery for 10k to 20k or trade in your ride and have endless payments for the rest of your life. I like to see my rides last at least 15yrs before buying new, wanna enjoy at least 8yrs no car payments
I can't see myself waiting hrs in line for a 80% charge, 1hr charge, freaking out about the miles left.
I'm sticking to gas
Teslas are even better when you charge at home.
💯
You should go to a cold climate area and ask the same questions. I would get a tesla today if I didn't live in Michigan. I find it hard to get clear answers on range loss during my states colder months
I like these videos. interesting view points
Glad to hear it!
You should ask how much they pay for insurance!!!
watch the video a guy said 150
Med school with a side gig?, has to be in premed, I assure you I had absolutely no time for a any kind of side job when I was in my residency.
I kind of thought that. I don't doubt that he is in med school but I doubt he's doing all that side stuff. He's just a Tesla lover or just an electric car vehicle lover. I have an Audi e-tron and I don't pay anything. The first thing I've bought were tires at 30,000 miles. The four tires were $978 at Costco.
Standing around 15 to 40 minutes for a charge, and 20 bucks for a charge to go 250 miles doesnt sound to good.
Exactly. All of those hours of charging add up. Plus when these things catch on fire, they burn extremely hot and are very hard to put out. You get into a significant accident of any kind and you do not wanna be pinned to a wall or tree and be in this thing.
Lot of people charge it in their sleep. Or while I’m at work lol. Takes 0 time for me for the most part.
Why is the second guy lying 😂😂😂😂he got that guy threw Uber that’s not his car 🙃🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I just got my used 2020 Tesla M3 long range 10 days ago, no money down, no trade in at $479/mo. I found a dealership that participated in the EV tax credit at point of sale (BMW of monrovia); not all do so definitely call to ask ahead of time. So far i really like it and have easily adapted to it. The superchargers get pretty full in LA but I just go early and I don’t have an issue. My last supercharge cost me $12.25. I will say having an at home charger makes a huge difference but when the vehicle is on sentry mode, it drains the battery so much faster 😅 learning how to sustain some of the battery life.
I pay $380 a month for a 2021 performance Model 3 with 69k miles and I put 2k down lolol
thats nice!
2:35 How does bro have 100k miles already that’s an accomplishment itself 😂
He’s ubering and doing a marketing job. Sounds like he can’t afford the car
Best car ever! 2022 Model Y LR here. My favorite things are Auto Pilot, Regen Braking. I pay $1,045/mo. Got 40K left to payoff. Total cost to finance was 76K @ 2.6% APR. Put 20k down of pure earnings from $TSLA.
Biggest things I don’t like: Glass roof, rear-view mirror rattles and I believe Tesla has defrauded the consumers for those who overpaid on FSD and I wish they’d walk it back and issue partial refunds without a class action lawsuit.
I make 125K and I’m a safety inspector/technician.
wow, I'm looking at a Model Y Performance and its about $45k out the door right now
nice rate!
@anna-fk8ql yah but im waiting for the model 3 ludicrous to come out before i make a decision
@anna-fk8ql I'm not a shareholder
First guys fit was fire
😂😂😂
10k down and $770/month??!! Credit score of 300..??!!! 😳🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Decrease term? He could be doing 24 months instead of the usual 60.
Last guy was an undercover Tesla salesman wtf 😂😂
No maintenance…. Wait until the battery flunks
You have a 10-year warranty on the battery. Most engines go out by the 170,000 miles.
The last guy knew what he was talking about - I completely agree with him. Safest car on the road
In Ontario Canada i'am on the ultra low rate program for home charging, only use super charges
That’s the best - buying your Tesla from your Tesla investment proceeds :)
I hope to do that in two years when the stock goes up. Hopefully it does Nvidia numbers
Insurance only 150?! Wtf! I live in FL and we pay nearly double that tf?!
I pay $114.
that dude is not in med school lol
$279 / month, i put 3k down. I had several BMW's before my model 3, including a BMW i4. Model 3 is the best car I've ever had, hands down. Especially value-wise. Also, FSD is the real deal and life changing.
Idk why so many are putting so much money down on these cars, not to mention they depreciate a lot.
People think they’re flexing putting a ton down. The richest people I know don’t even put down when rates are good. Always the 150-300k hhi think they’re so smart
@@AajohnsunRich folk buy their cars in cash bro. Financing stuff is one of those things keeping poor people poor. Whoever you’re talking about isn’t actually rich.
