You are one AWESOME Company, Owner, CEO, or Boss. To make her full time, increase her salary by $5k, and then give her medical benefits, and pay for the first $5k of that, that's AMAZING. Kudos to you for helping out this single, hard working Mother. I was a working Mom at one point in my life and that's a tough job in itself. Thank you so much for helping her. And to her, I wish you all the happiness that life has to offer and I hope you prosper in your job. GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU 🙏💜🙏💜🙏
So he had her go from 38 hours a week to 40 hours a week so that she could get her medical insurance coverage and a $5k bump in pay This is how a large majority of companies today get out of paying for medical coverage for their employees. They have you work just under 40 hours a week so you'll be considered part time. Then there's the other companies who consider full time at 32 hrs/week and they'll have people work up to 30 hrs so they can't have coverage. They'll also underpay their part-timers even though they do the same kind of work as the full timers. It's all a scam to get as much work out of people without having to reward them with pay and benefits. They've been doing this more and more since the 1980s.
Now this is how you step up and help your employees - class act !
You take care of your employees, they will take care of you!

I have a boss like that it makes me love my job
This is actually a 2 dollar an hour bump. At first I thought it was nothing but even after taxes this is a pretty sizable yearly gross. Good for her.
You're A Great Undercover Boss Mahalo
