Shaka thinking that Chelsea were 2nd best in that final against City shows how much he knows about football. Chelsea had more shots, more xG and generally looked far more dangerous in possession than City, who were toothless all game.
Cityzen here and I know what these fans are doing. Dumping CL hopes and challenges on Chelsea so when they don't win, the trolling will roll on. They know Chelsea is not good at the moment and about to rebuild with seasons to come. They are scared of them so trying to shove a UCL in their throat that they have a BIG chance to win it when they are not close to it at the moment. That's what they did to Barca at the start of the season. They were scared that they might be possibly back so shoved UCL in their throats to throw them off when they knew that it would take time to rebuild before facing UCL hopes.

If Kante, Reece James and Chilwell can get fit and stay fit for the rest of the season and the new signings play well then Chelsea might have a slim chance of UCL, definitely wouldn't bet on it though.

Soon as james comes back we can't force him in... then again whoever plays as right back is not good enough... enzo and kova is not bad to be fair but kante and enzo would be solid... definitely not impossible
The issue is all 3 are pretty fragile. Chelsea dun have a quality RB beyond James and he wun last the season. Azpi can't be trusted to hold the place till James gets off the disabled list every month. Chilwell has Cucu as backup/competition. Kante has Enzo and Chuka. So it's possible to go all the way if James is 100% for the UCL games even without Chilwell and Kante.
The biggest reason Chelsea will not win the UCL is the manager. He earns a lot but does very little. He isn't a club legend (Di Matteo) or a hungry tactician (Tuchel) so kinda hard to believe he could switch the team from being pathetic to being a tactical machine this season or the next. Potter is pretty much every English manager to be given a top job, overawed and underachieving.
@@arugono they definitely are all injury prone, but Kante when fit id the best in the world in his position, same with Reece. Cucurella is absolutely not adequate cover for Chilwell, I think he was by far the worst signing of the season in the prem this year.

He is wrong about registering players. Yes 3 for main 25 man squad but B list under 22 all can be registered since they are all pretty much 22 and under.

It's not strategy it's ambitious project players we have or which we bought some season ago are not good enough to win league and all old players are gone except azpi. So we can't expect a miracle from those players...from my perspective they bought good young players with huge potential in every position they overspend lil bit finding a loophole in uefa laws and even if we get sanctioned now we have enough players to do well..and believe me after this and next window boehly not gonna spend much...and we have quality squad to fight for titles

All these young players might do very well, but all or most of them might flop in the Premier League as well.
Everybody, apart from some Chelsea fans are able to see that this is a HUGE gamble by Boehly that in reality knows little to nothing about "soccer".

History can teach us something - you can assemble a very expensive team of galacticos but still not win it. Somehow Tuchel made a very hungry Chelsea side with a bunch of misfits who really wanted it. I doubt if these current set of overpriced divas got what it takes. Nope, you can't remove players unless they leave. 22 and under are on a separate list anyway so I think they can all play.
Because you can only make 3 changes to your Champions league squad after January transfer. 22 and under list is only eligible for players who have been at the club for 2+ years, so B list is not eligible either.

Jules is wrong. There is a UEFA rule that says a club can register an unlimited number of players under list B which consists of players born after January 2001. So Chelsea can register all their players because most of them are less than 22 years 😃

A squad can't exceed 25 member squad, with Jorghino gone that's 4 places available. Also a team can remove players from the 25 men squad and add new players. Jules you should know better

The players who are U21 on the UEFA cut-off date do not have to be registered. They can play, like any other U21, without registration. So they can only add 3 OVER 21 players, if they also remove 3 OVER 21 players.
