Actually, she's capable of "owning" any style. She has created her own. I haven't yet seen anyone able to follow her there.
As for power, control, stamina, and range, last week at her concert in Portsmouth she did 18 songs with Whitney's "I have Nothing" being the last song! And she did that in just over 2 hours! Name another female vocalist today that could do that! She belts only when the song requires it to make a point! If you want to hear her power listen to her live performance of "It's a Mans World" when she was 12! She is basically self taught starting at 18 months of age! Not a miss print, and there is video! By the time she was 3-4 she was practicing (her choice) 4-5 hours a day. She started by listening to all the "old" Jazz greats, but has covered songs by most of the great vocalists of the last 100 years! Everything from Jazz to rock to pop, even rap, and everything in between! Today at 17, she is the worlds best vocalist, storyteller, and one of the top songwriters and composers! She started arranging her own covers at the age of 7, entered Norway's Got Talent at 7 and won at 8 becoming the youngest person to ever win a Got Talent show world wide! Became the youngest published author in Norway's history at age 9 by publishing a book about meeting a young girl on the side of the street when Angelina was 6 who was trying to earn money by weighing people on a pair of bathroom scales. The girl had no shoes and sores on her feet. Angelina gave the girl her own shoes and since that day she has always performed barefoot. By the time she was around 11, she had helped to raise more than 25 million dollars for children's charities. She speaks Norwegian, Farsi, English, Swedish, and Japanese all by the age of 6. In Japan, for a large Japanese corporation. When Angelina performed at a concert there, several years ago, she did an absolutely beautiful rendition of a song in Japanese, she sounded is if her was her native language. Her ability hear and repeat the nuances of the language, is amazing.

Oh boy, you are going to be bombarded by her fans called Angels that will fill you in on this music prodigy with an old soul from Norway. She's basically been a star since she was 7 years old. First and foremost, she is a jazz singer but has the ability to sing any genre. She also does all of her own musical arrangements. Her early influences are Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, and Etta James to name a few. Her love of jazz came from her grandmother playing jazz music around her when she was young. In 2014, she entered at age 7 and won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8. With her new found fame, she used it to appear on many shows from abroad and help raise millions for the less fortunate children around the world. At age 13, she was invited to participate on America's Got Talent: The Champions in 2020. She shocked the audience and the judges with her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. She received a standing ovation from all and got the Golden Buzzer from judge Heidi Klum to go straight to the Finals. Her performance went viral and even the group Queen responded on Twitter by saying, " Wow, what a rendition!" For Queen to respond to someone covering one of their songs is quite a feat since they rarely react to anyone . Not only that, but she received the copyrights for her version of this song from Queen, which makes it hers now. She did not win, but her fan base grew and expanded her popularity.
Now 17 years old, living in Los Angeles, and currently signed with Republic Records, whose clients include Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, and Drake to name a few. Her family and Republic Records had agreed not to heavily promote her just yet so she can live as normal of a life as possible and finish her schooling. From what we know, she is finally done with school. She had a single that came out May 5th called Love Don't Let Me Go, a new EP called Old Enough that came out Friday, July 21st, a newly released video of her new song called Now I'm The Fool, and a new album of original music which will be coming out later this year. She recently returned back to Norway and performed at a number of sold out concerts in which fans from around the world came to see her. Many of the fans there said she sounded better live in person and was a once in a lifetime experience.

When she was 6 years old, she was traveling with her family in Iran where she met a poor shoeless girl in the streets that was about her age. She made money by weighing people. After speaking with her for a few minutes, Angelina noticed the scars on the girl's feet and asked the girl what her dream is. The girl said she wanted to be a doctor but she couldn't because she had to make money for her family. Angelina did what came natural to her, she gave the little girl her shoes and told her to not give up on her dreams. The girl then asked Angelina what her dreams were, Angelina answered that she wanted to be a superstar, and the girl said she would pray for her success. Since then, Angelina has performed barefoot in honor of that little girl and to those who are less fortunate around the world. She keeps this promise to this day. Why does Angelina sing barefoot? The answer may bring a tear to your eye. It is related to a promise she made to herself and to the world when she was only 6 years old. She was traveling in the Middle East with her mom and grandmother and they came across a young orphan girl with no shoes and scarred feet. Angelina gave the girl her own favorite shoes. Angelina ask the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said a doctor, but she could not because she had to take care of her siblings. She asked Angelina the same question and Angelina said I want to sing for the world. The young girl said she would pray for Angelina. Since then, Angelia has forever performed barefoot as a reminder of all those less fortunate. At age 9 she wrote a book about this experience, Between two Hearts, becoming the youngest ever published author in Norway. She also has helped raise millions for children's charities. Real vocalists do not need to belt and show off, when you are this talented the choices are for the song, not to impress anyone. We all know who those singers are...there are many. Angelina travels in a different "Lane" than the "look what I can do" bunch. 1000's of "singers"....very few superlative vocalists...maybe a handful, and here is one of them. No AW voice either....it is Angelina's voice. She has no coaches...this is a God given natural talent that she knows how to use.

Angelina started singing around 18 months of age, after listening to Whitney Houston on TH-cam. She quickly became obsessed with listening to music videos and her maternal grandmother, Mery Zamani got Angelina interested in classic jazz.
Mery Zamani is Iranian and was a prodigy as an artist and poet while growing up in Iran. Angelina attended the Oslo Waldorf School and participated in the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program, where starting around age 4, she had training in music but no vocal training. Her teachers were smart enough to not attempt to change what she was doing vocally. More recently she along with her grandmother have designed and made the clothing she wears on stage.
Why Angelina always performs barefoot At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. She was actually born 5 days after Lou Rawls passed away. Some say that he was the last of a long list of jazz greats that she needed to incorporate into her voice before she was born.

It is the rare singer that can, as Angelina has done, go from Queen to "Screamin" Jay Hawkins to Adele to Elvis to Whitney Houston to Michael Jackson to Etta James to James Brown to Amy Winehouse to the Beatles (and many others in between) and do them all justice! Angelina sings these classics because she can and does them like nobody else!!
If you want to hear music, listen to anyone. If you want to feel music, listen to Angelina. She will stagger you with her ability to find and bring forth the 'essence', the emotional message of nearly any song. You have far to go with Angelina. She is equally comfortable and equally able to impact us whether singing a cappella, accompanied only by a piano or guitar, in front of professional studio musicians or a 40-piece military band. With her immense vocal toolkit, arranging ability (yeah, that too, since about 8yo or so) and the work ethic to make what she does only 'seem' effortless, she will hopefully be touching hearts for a long time to come.

One of Angelina's best traits is she turns every song she sings into her "own". Angelina doesn't try to replicate anyone. She's an old soul and it comes out in so many different ways when she sings. You'll have to take a listen to some of her music when she was much younger - and some of "today's" music. Her voice control is comparable to none - from such a young age too.
