Enjoyed the video as usual. Your missing out mind Hinny on those tasty whiting😊. I was in shields myself this week stocking up the freezer and keeping my neighbour happy😂. Tight lines.
Well done Hinny and Mark getting used to your ways now one day you will get a thumper of a cod. normally when the whiting are about you will find the odd doggy or cod. crack on be safe
Thanks Barry, we’ll be chuffed to bits when we do eventually get a decent one. My dilemma will be to release, or to keep for eating. I’m undecided yet 😆 cheers for watching 👍🐟🐟
With your needs taken care of by the fishing fix you release your fair share. if you decide to take something people will not look down on you. i used to use two rods when i went fishing. one with single large bait the other with two hooker scratching rig size 2/0 hooks with anything i had left over as bait. the large pennel rigs tend to sort the fish out by size crack on be safe@@fishinghinny
Well done Hinny, another good day out. You might like to get a couple of battery powered rod tip lights. They point downwards, they're usually red & they're great for showing bites in the dark.
Thanks Ashley, we were out last night for a first proper night session on the pier and saw other anglers with those tip lights, we’ll be getting some 👍 plus some head torches, ready for the winter months ahead 🐟🐟
If you can be bothered to take a paraffin powered tilley lamp, they are very bright & they keep your hands warm at the same time. I think even have one going spare.@@fishinghinny
We’re looking into some lights Ashley, probably go for rechargeable rather than paraffin for safety in the van. I have a couple of electric hand warmers which are amazing, charge up takes an hour by usb and one in each pocket stays hot for a good 4-5 hours - toasty 😊
Thanks Brian Yeh, any Whiting that are deep gut hooked I take home (if they are size), I make home made fish cakes with them, add some chunky mashed potato, a little sweet potato, a small amount of finely diced red and green peppers, a dash of onion, pepper and some parsley sauce, press into shape in palm and cover with breadcrumbs … delicious 👌
Cheers David, I though a logo would be nice for the channel. I did keep a couple of fish this week when we were night fishing on the pier 😋 we’ll be having them for tea one night soon 👍🐟🐟
Fairly new to the channel, its great for once to see a woman actually doing some fishing and filming. Its a shame more didn't get into the sport. Well done 👏
Thanks Keith, we both enjoy the fishing, and we both have an interest in photography and video creation so it’s a great hobby that we can enjoy together. I do the majority of the video takes - Mark prefers not to be at the forefront, and I do all of the editing and production too. There should be lots more to come on the channel. Thanks for tuning in 👍🐟🐟
Have a look at getting something to protect your rods when fishing off railings. Akios rod guard is excellent. Ledlesner haed torches are really good . I know exactly how your man feels. My fishing partner is female and she has a habit of beating me. Love the videos.
Cheers Colin We’ll look into rod protectors as railings did scrape the rods a little, and yes, we definitely need better lights, thanks for the tip. It makes us both chuckle when I seem to be having better luck at the fishing, it’s all good fun 😆🐟🐟
Cheers Hinny, loving following your fishing journey. Another great video and another good session. 🍻👍👏
Thanks Bob, much appreciated

Well Dannielle, after this episode you should consider a new name, the Whiting Woman!😉
Haha yeh, Whiting can be a pest, or, they can save the day 🤷🏻♀️

Are whiting any good for eating.
Yes, very good eating, I’m making some Fish cakes next week with some we caught previously 🤩👍🐟🐟
