What's wild is, and I've just recently learned this, the S43 preview actually aired before the game was over. Basically it was the Final 5 (in real time) when the preview aired, so the editors couldn't have known Gabler was the winner!

Excited as always for Survivor. Last season it was crazy how weak physically the cast was. Jonathan was a beast for sure but man, competition in immunity/reward challenges was pretty weak. I would like to see more of a level playing field challenge wise.
I want to see more giving to those who are clearly on their game and are winners....it can't be, your reward is to be voted off, while the weak gets to stay for the million....that's the only thing I don't like about Survivor. Is it about mind based survivor or physical based survivor?
@@gayleholmes9081 My frustration with the show is how the physically weak players always go after the physically stronger ones first, rather than the mental and purely strategic players. They always state that the challemge beasts are the biggest threats when that isn't true. And when they are successful, all that's left are the players who sucks at challenges which kills alot of the enertainment in said challenges.
@@kallelbrown9761 This season is a direct attempt to silence the so called brave hero's who dared to check her majesty Erica last season, ie Garcelle, yeah right and Sutton. I am 100000% certain, Erica, Rinna and Kyle got together before filming to somehow dethrone these women who made all the reality tv headlines last year. Lets keep in mind, before the Klan turned on Garcelle, she too was willing to join the posse and go after Crystal, until she realized the crosshairs had her name on it, not Crystals.
I'm so excited for Survivor 43! I hope there will be more twists in the new season. I do like the 26 days, but I hope they will go back to 39 days. I'm a big fan of Survivor and I have grown up with Survivor. I hope Survivor 43 will be a great season and I can't wait for Survivor 43 to start.
So tonight I am a bit disappointed at the reason why Moriah was voted out when the 2 people who lost the challenge is still there. I did not see where she exhibited "weak" qualities. She was actually quite empathetic to the very same person who put her on the chopping block.
It's definitely a very common color used in 4, 7, 10, 13, 20, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, 31, 32, 34, 35, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, and will be in 43. I'm only going off of memory, might have missed a few seasons w blue tribes but this is as much as I can recall.
Can't wait until I get casted for this show. I realized watching other castaways audition tapes that you need a good story. First couple submissions I made I lacked emphasizing that. Survivor wants people with stories - I think I have a good one now. LFGO

@@jacksonia7724 I promise you, timing doesn't really matter. If you're good you go into a "maybe" folder. From there, everyone is basically on equal footing. A late submission could come in and knock their socks off. But they'll have to remove someone who was tentatively cast to make room for that person. This does happen in returnee seasons, but usually not for newbie seasons. But I will say, at 18 I felt like an adult who was interesting. At 27 now, I can comfortably say I was not. I was an annoying kid. Not saying you are that too, but there's a reason 26 year olds are so common on the show these days. At 25 and up your prefrontal cortex is fully developed but you're not so old that younger audiacnes can't relate with you. The good news is you have so many years to make yourself a good contestant. Just keep applying every year. Tori auditioned for like 6 years straight.
I’m too old for Survivor now and I don’t have tattoos. I don’t think I would make it past the first audition video. The contestants look like they would kick my a**. LOL!!!! I’ve been watching since Day 1 Episode 1 and I’ll be back in September/October to watch Season 43. The teasers are so hard to judge by so I guess I’ll have to wait for the pre interviews to learn more about these contestants. It looks like a very strong physical cast. Also, the logo is pretty cool.
I think they're focusing more on characters of those players to avoid the audience from going "oh great another twist 😒" But to your point, it would be dumb to continue with beware advantages now that they've seen 41/42, and know about silly lines.

Maybe one tribe could be themed as “military” but a whole season? Nah. Military basically falls into the “hero” archetype like in season 35. Something more realistic would be a LEO/military type of tribe versus an oddball “no collar” tribe in a 2x9 or 2x10 season.
I think the biggest issue for that would be the smaller casting pool. The military is pretty large, but it's still a fairly insular group. I think they'd have trouble finding 16-20 people who would have a TV ready presence and personality, fit into a variety of personalities, and don't know each other. That last issue is why the first two may be more difficult. Not that there aren't TV ready personalities that are ex military, or great Survivor contestants as there have been. But they don't like casting newbie seasons where people know each other.
I think they still in mid filming. That's why fans can't really grasp anything from the teaser. Bcs the production still didn't know who is the winner, or how they shape the narrative for the teaser.
I hope everyone hates each other, would be a nice contrast to 42 were everyone was super nice. I want to see good TV, cruelty, backstabbing and plotting.

I only found Survivor during lockdown and i instantly love it, especially as i really like The Challenge. Was great being able to binge whole seasons as well as the Australian version ( which is probably better than US one ). Watching the episodes weekly fucking sucks man.

They changed the format due to the pandemic. Survivor literally takes place out in the wild, not a studio or something they can bend to their will. The twists were made to compensate for the lack of days and changes they had to make (no swap etc,)
survivor needs to stop only getting 1 person with a disability. they immediately put a target on their back. they should put at least 2-4 people with disabilities if they’re gona do that (2 on each team)
Finally a few normal looking people who seem mildly fit. So tired of these soft bodies playing on survivor, the challenges have been so boring for the last two years.
@Hazel the Cat I loved Jonathan but outside of him and Lindsey this season was a joke challenge wise. Completely non competitive, only two people really competing every week. I miss the old challenges when people battled and almost everybody was legit, but they seem to have gone to the more nerdy players, players they deem more strategical. But they’re people I personally can’t relate to and I know many feel the same.

I hope this season and the series as a whole doesn't turn the game into a thing of race. I'm fed up with contestants freaking out when people of their race are voted out. Like naw man; they voted the person because it didn't benefit their game plan, NOT because of the color of their skin? Anyone agree with keeping the game as a game, and nothing more than that?
@@Ne0Nights Nobody said anyone was voted out because of the colour of their skin. But several contestants have made a massive issue (look at most recent season) when they see a contestant of their colour voted out, making it out to be a race issue.
@@disneyguy1232 the only people I see making it into a race issue are the ones upset by people talking about race. Referring to the Drea tribal she was gonna idol anyway. This has happened many many times on survivor. When a certain group tends to go out back to back usually whoever is left will notice it. If all the older players go out back to back someone will point it out. If the men go out back to back (like one world) someone will point it out and not want to be the next one to go. People are just mad because now it’s race and white people are uncomfortable when race gets brought up.
I have watched Survivor since 2001. I stopped watching this season due to racist comments by Maryanne who declared she could not vote for Drea because of Drea's race. Imagine if Tori said she would not vote out another white player or Hai said he would not voted out an Asian player. I suspect other fans did not like race being brought into the game either as this was the lowest viewed Survivor finale down 500K from Season 41. The finale was down 600K from last weeks episode and only slightly above the atrocious numbers for the first episode.
If you thought Maryanne won because of race then it simply proves you to be the one with issues. You refuse to look at her game and see what everyone the jury saw just because she's black and maybe also because she's a young woman.
Imagine having such bigoted views about people of color on survivor that you think race is the only reason Maryanne won. If Jonathan or Lindsay played winning games or should've made it to the end, why didn't they? Just seems like they got outplayed and you're up in arms about your white people not winning the game again

Watched this show for the first 40 seasons, never missing an episode. But when CBS announced they would start picking the cast based on racial quotas, I stopped. Haven’t watched an episode since. CBS has ruined this once great show with their SJW woke agenda. I hope the show continues to lose viewers and is soon cancelled.

They changed the format due to the pandemic. Survivor literally takes place out in the wild, not a studio or something they can bend to their will. The twists were made to compensate for the lack of days and changes they had to make (no swap etc,)

Finally a few normal looking people who seem mildly fit. So tired of these soft bodies playing on survivor, the challenges have been so boring for the last two years.
Hopefully they a few new challenges or bring some in from survivor AU I love the physical ones they have even if it’s just for rewards
@Hazel the Cat I loved Jonathan but outside of him and Lindsey this season was a joke challenge wise. Completely non competitive, only two people really competing every week. I miss the old challenges when people battled and almost everybody was legit, but they seem to have gone to the more nerdy players, players they deem more strategical. But they’re people I personally can’t relate to and I know many feel the same.
These comments piss me off. So only strong and fit people can play Survivor now?

I hope this season and the series as a whole doesn't turn the game into a thing of race. I'm fed up with contestants freaking out when people of their race are voted out. Like naw man; they voted the person because it didn't benefit their game plan, NOT because of the color of their skin?

@@Ne0Nights Nobody said anyone was voted out because of the colour of their skin. But several contestants have made a massive issue (look at most recent season) when they see a contestant of their colour voted out, making it out to be a race issue.
@@disneyguy1232 the only people I see making it into a race issue are the ones upset by people talking about race. Referring to the Drea tribal she was gonna idol anyway. This has happened many many times on survivor. When a certain group tends to go out back to back usually whoever is left will notice it. If all the older players go out back to back someone will point it out. If the men go out back to back (like one world) someone will point it out and not want to be the next one to go. People are just mad because now it’s race and white people are uncomfortable when race gets brought up.
I have watched Survivor since 2001. I stopped watching this season due to racist comments by Maryanne who declared she could not vote for Drea because of Drea's race. Imagine if Tori said she would not vote out another white player or Hai said he would not voted out an Asian player. I suspect other fans did not like race being brought into the game either as this was the lowest viewed Survivor finale down 500K from Season 41. The finale was down 600K from last weeks episode and only slightly above the atrocious numbers for the first episode.

Maryann should of never won season 42. Jonathan and Lindsay should of been the last two. Now the game is based on skin color.
If you thought Maryanne won because of race then it simply proves you to be the one with issues. You refuse to look at her game and see what everyone the jury saw just because she's black and maybe also because she's a young woman.
Imagine having such bigoted views about people of color on survivor that you think race is the only reason Maryanne won. If Jonathan or Lindsay played winning games or should've made it to the end, why didn't they? Watched this show for the first 40 seasons, never missing an episode. But when CBS announced they would start picking the cast based on racial quotas, I stopped. Haven’t watched an episode since. CBS has ruined this once great show with their SJW woke agenda. I hope the show continues to lose viewers and is soon cancelled.

@@cheetah595 The casting is actually less woke than season 41. No one played the race card even once. They care more about the game than race. That is why white man won at the end. Survivor 43 actually went back to what made Survivor good.
