Jeff has hated FairPlay from the moment they met. FairPlay told a story that when he went to meet Probst & Burnett at casting finals he put some lotion in his hand before going to shake Jeff’s. He was so disgusted that he vowed to never have FairPlay on the show, but Burnett overruled Jeff because “if he did that to you, just imagine what he’ll do to them!”

I was expecting Brenda to be on there because I didn't like how she made someone take their teeth out during the finale, or close to the end of the season. I did guess at least two of the five mentioned here.
A few years ago, I was at my local Sam's Club and noticed a guy who looked familiar. So I asked him if he use to work where I use to work and he said, sorry no. I said, no, I'm sorry, you just looked familiar. He said, you probably recognize me from Survivor, I was on the first season. And it hit me, yes, I knew him from tv. It was Gervais!! I asked to get a pic of him because my niece is a huge survivor fan. He said, sure, but get in the pic with me. He then took my phone and took a pic of us. Very nice guy! My niece screamed when I sent her the pic! She was beside herself, she couldn't believe it!!
That's awesome! My sister met Rupert somewhere, I don't remember where, but when I woke up for work that day, there was a voicemail on my phone from Rupert saying something like "Hey! This is Rupert! You sister (her name) said you were a big Survivor fan. Have a great day!". You can't mistake that voice, it was definitely him. It was wild ... I wish I still had that voicemail message...
My daughter sent me a similar picture but it was of her and Parvati! Apparently she was very nice and the picture looks like they're BFF's with their arm around eachother and smiling.
I would argue that FairPlay isn’t as hated by Jeff as most people think. FairPlay, along with others claim they got a call for season 40 before it was changed to WaW. And FairPlay only “quit” because he broke his jaw and needed pain medication that production wouldn’t give. So maybe there’s a chance FairPlay will appear in the legends season, who knows. But Colton is def. hated more based on how Jeff treated him.
How Fairplay broke his jaw in the first place is even more insane! But yeah I think while Colton and the Two Voldemorts are Jeff's current most hated, I think Fairplay occupied that position for Jeff for a long chunk of the first half of Survivor's career.
I definitely agree that Fairplay is probably no longer hated by Jeff now, and I think if they ever do a 'Legends' season down the line, he will get the call again. I don't think Probst could resist the opportunity to dunk on him one last time

Well, Aras wasn’t even supposed to be on the cast. He was a last minute addition after someone had to be removed because their ’adult film’ career had been discovered.

If season 12 had been a final 3 instead of a final 2 it would have been one of the best seasons with an awesome winner. I really don’t understand Danielle’s logic for choosing Aras. She should have known she wasn’t going to win against either. She could have thought she’s had a shot against Terry cause he was from the other tribe and they tried to get him out forever. How did she think she had any shot against Aras? Terry still would have beat her. She could have at least chosen the most deserving cause she wasn’t going to win either way.
I’d think a good honorable mention is Osten in Pearl Islands as the shows first official quit. They made a big deal about it when it happened and they even included a shot of Osten’s torch in the final 3 journey
Now if Brian was a good trashy used car salesman, he would’ve used his survivor fame to star in the American Psycho porno spoof, then he wouldn’t need the appearance fee, then he would’ve been on All Stars and become a two time winner because his charisma would be so good, no one would target him as a winner
I love how everyone ignores the fact that Julie was the one who back stabbed Chris after he kept her safe on the swapped tribe. She was the real villain of the story. Chris just avenged his friends.
i'm surprised you didn't even mention fairplay's dead grandma lie. that's probably what fairplay is most remembered and most hated for. and i'm sure that's one of the contributing factors of jeff's hatred for him, if there wasn't already 1000 other reasons

Very good list! Yes, these are almost undoubtedly the players he hates the most, and everyone knows it. I'd love to see a Part 2 of a list of players he "not so obviously" appears to have a dislike for. There are a number of players he appeared to (and we now know *did)* have a problem with and it was not so obvious why at first (or even now for most people).
Chris' game was one of my favorite of the 45 seasons of the show. I sometimes wondered where he was and why we hadn't seen him back on the show. This makes sense.
Mr freeze was probably the most dominant strategist in the history of the game plus he has a few immunities to boot If he was in all stars then it would be a interesting dynamic with whatever tribe he is on
He would have replaced Boston Rob most likely, which puts him on the tribe with Amber and Rob C. I think Rob C still gets cut early because Brian has the same idea as Boston Rob did with Cesternino being too much of a snake. I still think that tribe allows Brian to take control like he did in Thailand and I think Brian makes it pretty far. I don’t think they let him get to the end though. Amber gets cut in Ethan’s spot, since Lex has no reason to keep her around. Ethan makes the merge and works with Lex to get rid of Brian’s alliance. They convince some of them to flip over because of how dangerous Brian is if he makes it far. I say Brian gets eliminated at the merge. Brian’s alliance falls next. Ethan makes it pretty damn far, but Lex betrays him, afraid of a repeat of season 3. I think Lex goes on to win the season. He was set up really good if not for the Boston Rob/Amber situation. So take that whole thing away, and he has a good shot at winning.

i know she went premerge and isnt very memorable for anything other than jeff hating her, but i swear he had something so deeply personal against katie from philippines that girl could not LIVE without jeff calling her worthless at challenges or calling her out for... anything? my actual only memory of her as a player was that jeff hated her ass and i feel like they talked about it on screen how he would always pick on her
I love how kind and fair Jeff’s insults are. He’s not stupid, has a good sense of humor, and doesn’t tolerate BS. I wish more hosts were like this instead of encouraging sociopathic behavior.
I'm curious why Tommy is one of your most disliked? Is it simply cause he was allied with creepy-guy in Island of Idols? Cause I thought his gameplay was one of the few silver linings. Doesn't save the season of course but I liked him as a player.
Interestingly I can think of three people who can be considered the ones that Jeff alongside the community hates at large... one of which was someone who only did his horrible things after the show, so maybe that is the one Luke wasn't referring to? The others doing some very unceremonious things during their boot episodes in the 30s... anyone else thinking the same thing as me?
why did you quit? It's not what it used to be. So much has changed and not for the better. I haven't quit yet, but I quit recording them and watching the newest episode a few times during the week while waiting for the next episode. I barely sit through the new ones.

For those of us who aren’t as deep in the Survivor lore, can someone explain who the “two guys” are that Idoled Out is referring to and what their notoriety is? I’m pretty sure of one but am not sure who the other one might be.
Jeff Varner outed fellow contestant Zeke Smith as transgender during a Tribal Council and was subsequently fired from his real estate job. Dan Spilo had a habit of touching female contestants (and crew members) without permission and was ultimately ejected.

Colton got a well deserved Probst tongue lashing after quitting and begging, yes begging, to be brought back for Blood Vs water and quit again straight after telling production he wouldn't if they put him on it. Then before even the first tribal he quit because he wasn't going to be on his boyfriends team. And he wonders why his name is Black banned. Though him being 2 I' expect I am going to find whoever 1 is laughable though I expect I know the name coming. Yep I was right Johnny Fairplay
At the 4:15 mark, the beautiful and tough two-time player Brenda brightened this video. One player that I totally disliked was Season 1's Dr. Sean. His bulls!t lie about voting out castmates in alphabrtical order (so that he was not a threat to Richard Hatch) still irkes me. Also I disliked two-time winner Sandra. She hardly ever competed in challenges thus getting the name from me of Sit-Out Sandra. Of course Colton was pathetic but his bf Caleb was super nice. I think Caleb died in a train accident at his work a few years ago.
Yeah, I don't watch Survivor much but I like these videos to catch up on the context and lore. My best guess is that one of them is Jeff Varner? He infamously outed a trans person at tribal council.
Colton could have been #1 on this list for sure. He was so terrible. Scream at the TV terrible! FairPlay was cool for most of his time. He did cross some lines for sure, but that was his plan from the start and he stuck with it regardless of what people thought. Thanks for the video, brought back some memories.
I agree. Fairplay had his moments. a lot of them had their moments. but Colton was a piece of c*** from beginning to end each time.. Screwed everything up. And the show did it for a reason comma woke type reason to screw up things and make it interesting.. And despite Jeff acting angry. probably love the attention Colton brought.

Chris' game was one of my favorite of the 45 seasons of the show. I sometimes wondered where he was and why we hadn't seen him back on the show. This makes sense.
I thought Colton would be #1 but Fairplay's a good choice. I didn't know all that about his brother.
These people are objectively the most entertaining and I think they should always cast this type of person.

He would have replaced Boston Rob most likely, which puts him on the tribe with Amber and Rob C. I think Rob C still gets cut early because Brian has the same idea as Boston Rob did with Cesternino being too much of a snake. I still think that tribe allows Brian to take control like he did in Thailand and I think Brian makes it pretty far. I don’t think they let him get to the end though. Amber gets cut in Ethan’s spot, since Lex has no reason to keep her around. Ethan makes the merge and works with Lex to get rid of Brian’s alliance. They convince some of them to flip over because of how dangerous Brian is if he makes it far. I say Brian gets eliminated at the merge. Brian’s alliance falls next. Ethan makes it pretty damn far, but Lex betrays him, afraid of a repeat of season 3. I think Lex goes on to win the season. He was set up really good if not for the Boston Rob/Amber situation. So take that whole thing away, and he has a good shot at winning.

T Bird interviewed Colten on RHAP and it sounds like he's really changed since being on Survivor. He indeed does seem to lead a happy life.
T-Bird’s interview and Colten’s AMA on the subreddit have really helped mend his image outside of the show for a lot of the hardcore fanbase, I think.

If you believe the rumors, Jeff is the reason Chris was never back on the show either. There are a LOT of winners who came back on the show.

why did you quit? It's not what it used to be. So much has changed and not for the better. I haven't quit yet, but I quit recording them and watching the newest episode a few times during the week while waiting for the next episode. I barely sit through the new ones.

For those of us who aren’t as deep in the Survivor lore, can someone explain who the “two guys” are that Idoled Out is referring to and what their notoriety is? I’m pretty sure of one but am not sure who the other one might be.

Jeff Varner outed fellow contestant Zeke Smith as transgender during a Tribal Council and was subsequently fired from his real estate job.
Dan Spilo had a habit of touching female contestants (and crew members) without permission and was ultimately ejected.
I thought it was Skupin and Spilo.
@@brandongarner643 maybe, but since he said "really really horrible stuff on the show" I figured Skupin was excluded. Some other players have done bad stuff off the show; Varner and Spilo are the two most notable in-season offenders

Then before even the first tribal he quit because he wasn't going to be on his boyfriends team. And he wonders why his name is Black banned. At the 4:15 mark, the beautiful and tough two-time player Brenda brightened this video. One player that I totally disliked was Season 1's Dr. Sean. His bulls!t lie about voting out castmates in alphabrtical order (so that he was not a threat to Richard Hatch) still irkes me. Also I disliked two-time winner Sandra. She hardly ever competed in challenges thus getting the name from me of Sit-Out Sandra. Of course Colton was pathetic but his bf Caleb was super nice. I think Caleb died in a train accident at his work a few years ago.

Colton could have been #1 on this list for sure. He was so terrible. Scream at the TV terrible! FairPlay was cool for most of his time. He did cross some lines for sure, but that was his plan from the start and he stuck with it regardless of what people thought. Thanks for the video, brought back some memories.
I agree. Fairplay had his moments. a lot of them had their moments. but Colton was a piece of c*** from beginning to end each time.. Screwed everything up. And the show did it for a reason comma woke type reason to screw up things and make it interesting.. And despite Jeff acting angry. probably love the attention Colton brought.
