- Wino takes Carrie & Ailsa out in the local waters of Gulf St Vincent in search of a few of our iconic blue swimmer crabs. From the UK, this was Ailsa's first look at these tasty little crustaceans.
With a GoPro strapped to one net, a multitude of ocean dwellers popped in for a visit, including the target species. Check it out ^^^^^ - กีฬา
You have to pull the rings up quick hey. Will have to try for a few blue swimmers this year. I have never tried. Great seeing the underwater shots. Have subscribed and will watch all your video's as I get the chance. Cheers
Too true! Little bit tardy with the first few pulls, obviously. Bit of catch 'n release without the 'catching' component.. ha!
Good
Under water video. Just subbed
Cheers for the sub Savage Hookset! Hope you enjoy some of my vids. Regards, Wino
Hi heading to South Australia from Melbourne looking for some legal way to catch some crabs for dinner 😋 what kind of bait are allow? as I heard chicken cactus is not. Thanks in advance.
bocap1980 any kind of fish frame works
@@fishingbrotherz3427 thanking you
Hope you got a good catch when you came to SA. Good to know that you care about what is legal and what isn't. Some people don't care so much.
How do you attach your gopro to the crab pot? Please show!!
I use an elastic, velcro wrist strap mount and secure it amongst the wire rungs on the bottom of the crab net, camera pointed at the bait cage. All good so far, but most likely say goodbye to the GoPro if a great white ever decides to grab it and take off with it... Wish I could post a pic of the set up for you JoashTham.
@@Wino15 oh dang did that happen to yours??
@@JoashTham, not yet mate. Hopefully never, but they are renowned for inhaling baited crab nets, so it is a possibility every time we go out and send a camera down.
hi what kind of bait are you using there
Combo of salmon or tommy baits + squid wings, Miroslav.
@@Wino15 thanks for the reply, happy crabbin
