03 Dodge Ram Pioneer Blutooth Double Din Radio, Backup Camera & EQ Install

Today we upgrade a 2003 Dodge Ram with a brand new pioneer double din radio, new eq and backup camera! He had a outdated radio already installed so had to get him upgraded!

Did you have any issues putting the 2 Din radio in with the shelf still intact? Some videos I see tell you to cut the shelf out to install it. They say there is not enough room can you please provide me any input you can because I want to put a 2 din in but do not wanna cut it. Thanks

Where did you connect the purple reverse wire behind the radio to the truck, so when you shift it in reverse it shows up on the screen?

Every video I’ve seen for the 03-06 has you cutting that plastic bar under the radio. Guess this radio is small enough to fit in that pocket with no problems.

Engine noise = bad ground.
