bro for the "round corner mask" you can just increase the value of "mask expansion" from the mask option under the opacity

I think using trackmatt key effect is very easy to make this type of effect.😊

That is true if you just want to have a rounded rectangle crop. If you want to animate the facecam position in that case you have to keyframe the shape and facecam clip both. Not convenient for dynamic movement. Crop effect gives a lot of flexibility!
