Overnerfed for sure. . .
As much as I realize how necessary a nerf was (not this much of a nerf though) I do miss watching poison globes absolutely annihilating anything that got in their range.

Personally I think the greenskin boneword staff nonsense is kinda anti-fun. It's just too strong.

Greenskins really struggle vs Deamons. Belakor gets insane healing after routing off low leadership greenskin units. Plus, all deamon units have fear which is similar to undead factions. Cheers
Hey Turin, thanks for posting one of your losses. This was actually really fun to watch, as normally we know who’s going to win based on the POV that you’re spectating from. Should try the death star build against green skins, might be a good response to the mass infantry

That looks like a TW: Shogun 2 map and I got a little confused there for a second
Weaker infantry always gets destroyed by high charge units, that's why factions that rely on them like Skaven tend to struggle against 'overwhelm races'. One thing I used to see Greenskins struggle against a lot is terror causing monsters, maybe there is some build in that direction that would be stronger.
I still remember back in the day when people would always bring cavalry against Skaven and the Skaven would get destroyed by it, so the Skaven instead started to focus on a hero core supported by a handful of elite units, so they wouldn't suffer as much from their infantry getting destroyed.
How do you get these cool maps like this, empire road, and the small lustrian field with the mountain in the middle for dom?

That’s true, but the fanatics masquerade as regular night goblins. The tooltip will just call them night goblins if you hover over them (if you are their enemy). This isn’t a bug either - it’s to reflect how they behaved on the tabletop. You’re not supposed to know whether or not they have fanatics hidden among them.

Hey turin! Long time fan, but i havnt kept up much with warhammer 3. Are competitive matches and tournaments always played on these domination matches? What happend to just straight up combat, no calling in reinforcements?
Regular Land battles are still there. ytuber DahvPlays mostly casts land battles
A lot of the competitive scene has migrated to domination because its a self-contained game mode (over than the whole map thing.) As Turin has explained hosting a land battle tournament is far more intensive because they have to create rule sets to balance the game, domination is more or less balanced as is. So no need to worry about things like attacking rules or how many single entities a player brought. But yea there are pockets of players keeping land battles alive, you'll just have to look for them.
As the others said, unfortunately there's no land battles here (we even went almost 6 months without one at one point) besides the 'once in a blue moon' cast. Much of community migrated elsewhere (including to DahvPlays as was said), which means Turin's fanbase is solidly Domination that brokers no Land Battle fans. That means no more LB tournaments with Turin or the official ones sponsored by CA (and hosted by Turin). I check in to see if there are any LBs every few weeks, which is almost always no, so I watch the occasional AoE IV stream instead.
Land battles got less popular due to how much of a hassle it is to referee. Dahv and HumanBoy still cover them, though.
@@Hargrovius Hence why the Froot rules were born and then it became much easier to manage. I still think CA has something to do with it.

Greenskin Lords front I agree. however when it's a nice lord sniping faction azhag isn't bad. now he can use his items he's so much better

Hey, just a shout out for not taking the cheap route for clicks and doing what so many other content creators are doing now. Sticking to what makes this channel entertaining and fun to watch.

@Amonabus and the only reason I qualified it so much, is Sparty is so good at color and I don't want to pick one half of my favorite commentary team over the other!
It really seems like a lot of skavens got over-nerfed, there are some units that really need some love.
They seem like wet noodles. . . everything except the triads and ikkit sucked mouse trap imho!
