I have nerve damage from a botched fusion surgery. My surgeon actually broke my back. sharp pieces of bone were embeded in the nerves in my lumbar region for 6 days before he realized what was going on and took me back to surgery. I have neuropothy with pain in my legs and some numbness. But my biggest complaint 12 years later is RLS. I just started Ropinirole but im wondering if this procedure can help me if my problem is the nerves themselves.
I have leg cramps and foot and toe cramps. My doctor says it's RLS. But I don't have any of the symptoms that they describe RLS as being. She wants me on an RLS medication and I'm very hesitant as I don't think I have RLS. Your thoughts or opinion?
Leg cramps can be one of the symptoms of RLS. So yes medication could be considered. You may want to consider a zoom consultation so we can better understand the severity and specifics of you situation. If your not a good candidate for nerve decompression we may have some other ideas for you

Sleep is only because of smoking Marijuana at night. Yet that doesn't work always. I hate to smoke. I also fight prostate cancer. I hope I can figure out how to get the treatment you are speaking of. Please do not prescribe Mirapex to any patients for restless leg syndrome unless you tell them it can lead to gambling. Can destroy ones life in short period of time. I know this from personal experience.

Sorry to hear that. Yes I've heard from other patients that it has caused obsessive behaviors.
